Target Practice Drills with Ema 👉🏻 ua-cam.com/video/2sXYl_31eE4/v-deo.html
I love how her coach always told her “good job” or “it’s okay” instead of saying mean things to her
Amazing how pro's make it look so easy! Cheers to Ema.
Dear Nick. Again, fantastic content you make! Not only you are a great tennisplayer, but your teaching skills are just the bomb. Learned so many things from you. My wife and I are serious huge fans of you. Thanks so much for creating this and sharing. You are awesome!
Thank you for the support 🙏
I've been watching tennis for more than 10 years now, but still, when I see casual displays of technical brilliance like the volleys that Nick was hitting starting at 11:27, I am still in awe. With each volley, even when the shot is coming at him hard, he looks like he has all the time in the world and is casually accompanying the ball with his wrist and hitting wherever he wants (you can hear how he calls out the direction of its upcoming shot sometime before he hits the volley). I hope one day I also look like that when hitting volleys.. 😅
Most appreciative and grateful ❤️
🙏
So much control and precision!
Great content to match a really knowledgeable tennis coach. I'm just a recreational player, still on early days, and this is of great help while being truly enjoyable. You manage to keep an high intensity rythm on the basis of great verbal reinforcement. Thanks for this.
Great video that demonstrated the type of training and drills used condition players. Used drills
Ike this to develop my high school tennis players and USTA Junior tennis players. You got to do the drills to build the skills. If you can’t get to the ball you can’t hit it. Being fit and able to run every shot down you let your opponent know they are in for tough day 🎾🎾 and your not going away. You have to be a lean mean tennis machine 🎾🎾
This is great. I really like the high intensity cardio and focus on movement.
Thank you for this. I have been looking for dynamic drills to work with my daughter. I will employ this to increase her stamina and footwork, avoiding the typical boring drills.
Top level coaching Nick. You feed the balls like a pro !
yeah, the level of exhaustion after just a few minutes of these drills is unbelievable. I do drills like that too, and I'm a recreational player who's never known the conditioning of a pro so I can only imagine the intensity they have to endure. Especially those drills at the net (terrific effort); but it actually gets easier the longer your session, well, unless you lose your legs too, because as long as it's just lungs that fail you, it's ok, their capacity will increase during the session, or this is what I experience at least; but legs, nope, if they're gone, they're gone for good, and without your legs there's really no point. The last drill shows it perfectly: Emma can't really go down low enough to those low balls and she almost stops moving at one point, her legs are giving up. oh, hurts just thinking about it ;-) Bravo! it was a great training session:-)
What you were saying at 10:00 is so true, my old mma trainer would have ppl nearly, sometimes actually throw up during training because he pushed them so hard… its how you know you have a good trainer because its so difficult to push yourself to 100%.
💯
Coach is excellent and Emma is a working hard good luck
I am learning so much with each video.... so much in these.
This looks like my everyday training when I was junior. So interesting. Dose of nostalgia, for sure. Great job. 🍀🙌🏻
no it doesn't
@@alligatorsarefire lol, buddy, how? 😂
@@Mikrokozma33 it just doesn't bro
@@alligatorsarefire it does 🙄 do you wanna train together or get some sparing time? 😊😊😊🌎🌏🌍
@@Mikrokozma33 nah
Great coaching. Thank you for sharing such enjoyable video 🎾
That was the besr tennis I've seen on your channel Nik. Excellent drills and great tennis Ema.
🙏🙏
Wow! Such hard work is something which makes these players different from average great stuff!
Great tennis girl, loved watching you play so well. Thanks for the show. Good luck to you
Good job ema. Back in shape this year.
This is a great insight into how to really progress at tennis - dozens of difficult drills with a coach who feeds excellently and motivates well. Regarding the constantly changing colours in the video, probably the white-balance is set to Auto, which might be better to changed to Sunlight as this is Florida.
Ema is a great student 🎾
I hope she keeps going 💥🎯🤩
awesome training, Nick👍👍👍 would love to see even more about tennis shape from you
Love these drills. I'm going to pay an instructor to feed balls exactly like this. My ball machine cannot replicate this.
Closest thing to short burst of energy is HIT training but what makes tennis unique is getting the ball in the court. I hope anyone that trains this way is totally dialed in with their shots.
Good points comparing tennis' intensity with running. I thought because I run regularly with a pretty good pace, I wont get my tank emptied that fast when playing, but I was so wrong. And on the other hand, after many high intensity tennis training with my coach, my time in running is keep on going better and better and I don't feel as tired like before. That short and explosive movement with little rest in between in tennis works like an intervals training for runners. Tennis makes my run better, but running doesn't make my tennis better.
In my early 40's, I won 3 tournaments, first one at 3.5 and then at 4.0. I don't think it was coincidence that I was distance running 4 times/week. During that period I rarely faced a player who could wear me out.
Nice practice!
I'm really enjoy your technique.
Excellent drills, great player & superb coach.
So good tennis specific drills great coach mate
Nice drills Nikola
Foot work is everything!
How about that consistency of the ball feed by Nick?! Wow! Great content!
My god, i envy being able to be so consistent and accurate.
Great video Nik!
Obviously intense, but superb consistency , have you edited worse drills?
💪🎾
Great job Ema
She deserve to be in the WTA ranking!! 🤗🥰
Да бог с тобой..Даже близко не стоит!🤣🌺🤣
I'll be died i 10 minutes under this kind of drills! Good job!
Gran entreno
👏🏽👏🏼👏🏿
Very nice work. 👏👏👏
Great job Emma
Beautiful forehand
One of the biggest differences between the WTA and ATP is the foot speed.
Nick explained at the end she's not training like she use to. And it shows. If i didn't know her i'd think she was a college player, not former pro.
ua-cam.com/video/44_jvT6l-2E/v-deo.html
The speed difference is evident between these two videos.
Her posture also
I absolutely love her shoes!!!
bum shoe for low level
Her shoes?? Nik got some new pinky kicks 😮
You are my best common problem solver thanks
Hello Nick, nice video. I understand from your videos that you don’t recommend using the wrist on shots (especially the forehand) because of the risk of injury. I see Patrick Mouratoglou talk about using the wrist a lot on the forehand and serve to create rackethead speed in his videos. Is this just a difference in philosophy? I’d love to get your thoughts on this.
У муратоглу все приходят с готовым закаченным запястьем!! У Николы в основном новички у которых запястье не готово для мощного вращения мяча..Вот и вся разница..🤣🌺🤣
I need some training like that. Good workout.
I have zero doubt she’s elite. The number of misses was in the single digits.
It would be interesting to see some point play with her.
Great video
Thank you
Man, just ignore those haters. Haters are everywhere. Watching videos of people playing is literally miles different from actually playing the game. I bet those people saying mean things never watched a single video of themselves playing lol
You know when he trusts the student's accuracy when he puts the camera much closer and/or on the court itself haha
Ema’s going to be worn out after lesson is over but all these drills are going to be useful
Really good job Nick! Really appreciate your coaching! Learned many things from you so thank you very much... And are you coaching them in Croatia?
In Florida
@@IntuitiveTennis okay! 👍🏻
That's what i call...the art of coaching.
Hats off.
I was getting short of breath just watching her move.
Exhausting just watching this
I had the new Pure Drive but found it was heavier in the head and harder to get through the air than the 2016 version, even with weight in the handle
Same
Can you make a video of a full source of sarvice
Congratulations both on your videos. Ema does not bend her legs enough when she runs, she kind of shuffles. Needs a running coach.
Intense
This is awesome! Do you know why most women hit a more "flat" looking forehand rather than the ATP style forehand? Is that down to genetics, or coaching?
Genetics
Hehe hôm nay em được nghe cô Mây hát gòi :))
Most people are idiots so don’t mind them. It’s probably the same people who think they can pay for experience… Even if you were in the top 1000 that’s pretty amazing. As for being/moving like an old lady, I’ll just go ahead and say, you’re a fine old lady that I’d date anytime/anywhere. If you are ever in Houston, Tx hit me up lol.
One of the best things about your videos is the dry humor which is beyond comical… Great videos, Awesome feedback, please keep trolling the trolls, and best of luck Emma!
Колян! Уже брюхо торчит! Пора качать!!🤣🌺🤣
👑🎾👑
What brand shoes is Emma wearing?
What's up man
If she's former pro, what i she doing now?
Hi intuitive tennis, wondering if this is a problem. Emma’s forehand finish has her racquet facing the sky (at the finish). I’m sure that’s a problem, isn’t it? Or am I wrong 🤔🤷♀️
Sometimes she is "wristy" waving at the ball too much.
I just saw the Shamir's video on high balls and Emma while is not taking the ball between the shoulders and the hips, (she takes them very very high) she is totally destroying those balls with much power and precision.. is that wrong?? Why is she doing that?? I mean, I love the result but is opposite of what was taught to shamir! 😮
5 stars
👍
You would receive a written warning at Wimbledon for those socks :)
Emma plays well but it feels like she lacks of agressivity and intensity
These are drills coaches do with their pro players....probably way above club players.
I used these drills with my High School Tennis players, USTA Juniors in Tennis Training. You have to do drills to build skills. If yo can’t get to you can’t hit it.
800, 900 comeon emma
Why Ema can not miss a shot???
Be she’s good 🙌
I notice her right elbow position is very close to her rib cage at the end of the followthrough....should it not be up and away from the body ..closer to shoulder level. Low balls maybe you can tuck it in like that but high ones need extension...or am I not correct?
*bh
Get her drop that @$$
You gonna kill Emma one of these days..🙄
does this huge fh loop give her anything?
Emma needs some footwork.......those little baby steps
Ema don't move like a WTA pro, more like my auntie.
These are some of the same drills that I do with my 4th grade kids. This is NOT high level stuff. I was expecting some advanced drills.
The coach is very positive however.
I'm tired just watching this..stopped watching 3:08 in...:-)
Jeeps he’s grinding her. Are we not she she wouldn’t prefer grinding him. Come?? Get in there quick. Be super explosive stay low
Idk she probably couldn’t play wta professionally or anything but I guess she’s decent…🤷♂️ lmao.
shes pro ? are you kidding me ?
how she pro?...can hear those flat feet from here
Looks pretty slow twitch for a pro
@@bmanbusee3812 Fair enough, was just curious.
She moves like a old lady
