I was fortunate to have had a great teaching pro like Nick who trained me.Drills like this were frequent and relentless. I learned to play way back in the serve and volley era so there was lots of net skills training. I got into coaching high school tennis so I ran drills like this every practice. My slogan was you got to do the drills to build the skills and practice the way you want to play.

Adapting and learning how to block the sun with your hand was a great tip. I'd love to see a video on serve and volleying (a rarity these days), specifically when to deploy the split step. Great reflex volley drills. Another great video thanks!

Still in my first year of tennis and I think volleying is one of the most satisfying things to learn. Feels so good to step towards the net and put away an unsavable volley.

Sessions like this are great cardio too, you really feel it in the legs after an hour of drills like this. The volleys at the start are really impressive, that is so hard to do.

I enjoyed watching this! Distracted me from work for the whole video. It’s nice seeing the high level coaching!

Thanks for the video. You're a good teacher. I like that teaching moment where you taught the kid how to block the sun with his hand.

Nice video Nickern! I see that you took my advice, and did not mistakenly name the video 'high intensity', good job there! I will try these drills on my students as well.

Great video!! Tough to find players to do volleying drills at my level (3.5-4.0) cause people never like practicing volleys lol. Can you make a video on volley drills with the slinger bag?!?! I use the Slinger all the time to practice specific shots based on my matches.

Oh Man, My head is spinning around. I wonder if Monsieur Milan could find his way back home after this practice session. For us foreigners it is interesting to see a match by an NCAA D2 player. Is there a video of him uploaded anywhere? Or maybe other people at his level. Thanks in advance.

    Fantastic drills !
    Excellent reflexes and accuracy.
That student of yours is good !
Physically well prepared, agile, fast and determined.
    Two questions:
    What is his level ?
Nic what racket do you usually play with, and how much does it weigh ?
    Thank you Coach

Hello intuitive tennis. If i feel more comfortible to hit a bh volley with 2 hands is it okay bcs i find that my balls go faster and steeper and feel more in control when using 2 hands on the bh volley

Great drills 👍 What do you think, Nikola, to play ALL COURT AS IF THERE'S NO NO MAN's LAND (at least at the hitting session)? Does it make sense? All the coaches tell me this is a crazy idea. I don't understand why.

I must say Anna has changed a lot. Not even in terms of her skill, i mean already being D2 is amazing for a beginner but she kinda looks very different as well, youve changed her Nick!
I liked the old sexy Anna version more tho. ;)
