I love this podcast. My one wish is that you have Kaitlin or Danny on once in a while. Maybe for the season finale or episodes focused on their characters. Otherwise, perfect.
Same. I’ve heard Katlin in a few commentaries for early episodes and she’s hilarious. Not sure if Danny has done one but ofc he’d be great as well. It would just be awesome to have the entire gang doing one.
Saw them all on Coco before and they were great together so yeah I think it would be cool for them to guest once inawhile but other then that what a great Podcast
I'm sure they will at some point- but like when they have callers, I'm sure they'll keep it to a somewhat minimum so that it stays fresh and special, they'd each do great on this podcast!
Yeah spot on. Megan's understandably reluctant but knowledgeable input adds so much to the conversation. I'd love the odd guest appearance from existing crew like Kaitlin, Danny, David Hornsby or any of the old school crew Iike Jimmy Simpson.

1:28 quick note on the "combine Acetaminophen and ibuprofen" thing. It's promising research! But a few caveats:
1. it can be a very effective pain reliever as shown in studies for dental pain, but this may not translate to other pains
2. There is a safe dosage LIMIT for Acetaminophen and ibuprofen as well, and the safe amount may not provide relief in a suitable amount for extreme pain (such as surgery or broken bones)
3. They stress different organs (Acetaminophen stresses your liver, Ibuprofen stresses your stomach and kidneys). If you have a problem with any of those organs already or are taking medications that are already stressing those organs, using this combo for pain might end up causing damage.
Opioid addiction is a serious problem and patients need to be cautious with their use, but doctors have definitely swung way too far the other way in limiting Rx where it is really needed to reduce temporary suffering.

Such a fantastic episode! Laughed so hard. Megan's reactions were so entertaining and that plunger bit had me dying. It's funny to think that she didn't say anything in the first few episodes and now her bits of commentary just add so much distinct, almost balancing humor.

I’m so glad they are doin a podcast now! Glenn talking about getting painkillers reminds Me when my friend Hunter and I used to watch every episode over and over again. He passed away last year due to an overdose an it makes me feel a certain kinda way when I watch the gang. It’s not a bad feeling really, hard to put my finger on, a little nostalgic, but mainly I think I just miss my friend.

So sorry for your loss, I lost my cousin this past year due to overdose as well and he introduced me to Its Always Sunny back when I was a kid.. definitely makes me reminiscent as well, glad we both had memories with our loved ones around this show!

It’s actually insanely infuriating that Glenn, with a fucking broken clavicle had to fight for pain medication... from a surgeon. Specialists (including surgeons) have the ability to prescribe over the CDC’s 90-120mg script cap with no issue. Sounds like the DEA is doin’ their thing, breathing down doctors’ necks. People who need these meds are of course the ones that suffer with blanket policies like this. It’s not even as effective in eliminating prescription opiate abuse as they make it out to be.
Disabled folks/chronic pain/pallative care patients rights groups had to fight by lobbying for more wiggle room for specialists to get the CDC to revise their 2015 “suggested” prescribing mandate. There needs to be BALANCE with policies like this.

I feel for you Glenn, i've broken several bones before but the collar bone has to be the worst. You can't exactly immobilize a collar bone 100% Trying to sleep is agonizing, also I had the horrendous back pain as well.
Try sleeping with broken floater ribs that are stuck poking out and your parents refuse to take you to the hospital or a doctor and your dad also expects you to wake him up at 4am AND 430am AND 5am every morning for years as a kid then blames you for him losing his job because you didnt wake him up a couple days after breaking down almost completely. Literally tried killing myself over the lack of sleep and mental state. Didnt get taken to the doctor for that either.
I snapped my collarbone in half when I was 17, and it took 2 months before it felt right. But Glen is the Golden God so it only makes sense that he could heal in 3 weeks.
Callus (temporary bone to stabilise the fracture) formation is 3 weeks. “Real” bone formation is probably 6 weeks.

Strange how in the show Glen is my favorite but in the podcast charlie is the most hilarious and super quick.

I met these guys once at Charlie’s pacific rim movie premier, I came right out with the cultivating mass Mac jokes and Mcelhenney went right into character for me it was pretty god damn amazing. Funniest and most genuine people ever, that aren’t too big to crack jokes with a random fan, gotta love and appreciate that. When Charlie whips the Alibaba sword around for the first time, he shreds a garbage bag and the garbage juice goes directly into his mouth. You can see him immediately spit it out. Incredible moment. I almost got off when I thought they were going to mention it.
