Hi, I'm from Russia, I'm very glad that there are people who work and make Maya content, and then almost one bledor, thank you for having people like you!! I 'm really looking forward to new videos from you !!!
That intro gave me goosebumps, I asked ChatGPT to help me write a comment for this video (it is all 100% accurate): Wow, this 3D modeling tutorial is absolutely incredible! I've been searching for a comprehensive guide like this for ages, and I'm so glad I stumbled upon your video. The way you explain each step with such clarity and detail is truly commendable. Your expertise and teaching skills make it so easy for beginners like me to grasp complex concepts and techniques. I've already noticed a significant improvement in my own modeling skills after following along with your tutorials. Thank you for sharing your knowledge and helping aspiring 3D artists like me reach new heights. I can't wait to explore more of your content and continue learning from you. Keep up the fantastic work!
Monica! you are amazing, I study in media design college, I learn Maya from you better than college, thank you for everything, and the attention to detail, and for all the wonderful tips.
Thank you. You are so helpful, clear and concise. A little too fast at times but then you repeat the process again. This is one of my favorite channels. I'm indifferent on ChatGPT for what you used it for.
The intro was pretty good, defiantly insightful to what the video would be like. Your videos always help me out a lot. I been modeling some goth windows for a Halloween project I'm currently working on so, I can't wait to go home and test out some of these tips. THANK YOU!
Imho This is very, very old technique to make a meshes along curves. A lot more easier to work with sweep mesh tool (should be new maya version). It allows you to control profile of mesh, to control whole tube/rope/cable on the go. Just make a curve, select it, and use sweep mesh. It is much more convenient, than extruding the face, and there is no way back. Thanks for your videos, by the way. Wish you all the best! Peace ✌️
Amazing tips, some I totally forgot because I didn't use in every project, so thank you😃 Now just a question: since Unreal has the Nanite technology, if I create a window like this do I still need to create the alpha channel to the geometric shapes and do all that thing of highpoly/lowpoly/UVW/baking stuff?
Yes, any type of transparency needs alpha channels. Nanite tech helps render hi poly stuff, but you still need the correct shaders. Thanks for watching!
I have a question, I have seen few people using a dummy human figure while modeling in maya, I don't know if it is for scaling purpose, but is it helpful with modeling? can we just not rescale our models later to match with human model
Hi there, You can use a dummy human figure to get the correct scale, but this is mostly for other software like Unreal/Unity that use real scale. You can always scale the models up before exporting. :)

You are so welcome! Thank you for watching!
Nice content, would be a bit better if you leave the material linked, like the image of the window for example
Very very helpful

If you want to bake all that detail on a single polygon you'll need that alpha

How did you manage to pick the face with that curve together?
No matter how hard I tried, I could not.
Select the faces first, and then shift select the curve. That should do it!
Bro please re do video on maya turntable changing color to shader and then to wire frame export to after effects

What do you think, this can be much easier with sweep tool.😊
