Hey if you haven't watched Jurassic Games yet I highly recommend it. The special effects are alright. There's just one thing that didn't make sense with the plot because there was no backstory.
Age of dinosaurs is the only low budget dinosaur film I can respect

That little dinosaur ripping-talon-toe-tap thing is absolutely just something they saw in a better movie, added in a last-ditch attempt to make things even SLIGHTLY suspenseful.
All it makes me think of is when large parrots get, like, CAPTIVATED by the sound it makes when they reach over and tap their nails against stuff

At 6:28 I think those are carnorapters a fusion between a carnotorous and a pyroraptor, which answers why it clicked it's toe earlier in the film thinking it still had it's reaper claw.

I'm disappointed that the dinosaurs didn't talk, though. If they're going to make a low-budget imitation of Jurassic Park, they should have talking dinosaurs.
Parrot talk to people and use English. It’s not so far fetched to question if a genetic altered creature talked like that one dream scene where a raptor talks to a character.

The whole mansion thing in Fallen Kingdom reeks of Carnosaur, the novel, not the film. Heck, some could argue Jurassic Park stole from Carnosaur, as it came out five years before.

This movie was my favorite as a small child, I saw a dinosaur and loved it. Noted I was 4 or 5.
My mom was like “your going to get nightmares why do u wanna watch this” and I just kinda sat there and happily watched as people got torn apart, I promise I’m not a psychopath
Age of Dinosaurs is honestly the best movie SciFi has ever pooped out.

I wouldn't say Carnosaur was a rip off on Jurassic Park. The plot was different if you compare the two.
But here's a fun fact did you know the book Carnosaur actually came first (1984) with a story about a dinosaur theme park going wrong before Michael Crichton's book did in 1990.
Even the Judge Dredd comics published in 1970s or 80s actually came up with stories about dinosaur theme park and genetic modification in the future.

Yeah but of all Roger Corman's films Carnosaur was one I really liked. Yeah it's not good but I did like gore and the ideas such as a virus that infects pregnant woman to give birth to baby raptors.
It is very weird but I was very intrigued by this insane movie. But it's science about using chickens to create dinosaurs. Is actually more possible to happen then Jurassic Park science.
Not to mention Laura Dern's mother (Diane Ladd) was in Carnosaur. Mother and Daughter were both starring in Dino Films in 1993.
Maybe JPFK didn't really steal from this movie, but the fact that the quality of scripts from these two is comparable is still really telling of the effort (or lack thereof) that goes into them, cause they both sound like really low effort fan fics or something along those lines. And syfy had much less money to work with.

oh my god, i remember this movie, my family was gonna watch it when I was younger but then the nurses head got bitten off and I was fucking traumatized for the rest of the day, I did get to watch a few episodes of Phineas and Ferb though because they felt bad for me, good times

When the police or whatever they were was shooting the ceratosaurus ( or whatever it is) it would have been good if one of them tried to run away but was killed, since then they would have a reason to stay and shoot

Fun fact: Dime store John Hammon is played by none other than Ronnie Cox who costarred with Arnold Schwarzeneggar in the 1990 movie "Total Recall" which is an excellent movie and in another 1987 classic called "Robocop". Yes, there was a time when Ronnie Cox would not have been caught dead in a movie like this.

Hey Alteori, have you ever seen "Carnosaurus" by Roger Corman
? It's one of my favourite low budged movies (only the fist one, the sequals just got worse and worse). The movie came out the same year as Jurassic Park to make some quick bugs and there was even a newscast comparing both movies. It's a dinosaurmovie with some nice practical GORE effects which really don't look bad, but the dinosaurs can look really silly in some(most) scenes. And the plot is also weird, but I don' t want to spoile it. ^^
Only thing I can think with recently re-alived dinosaur clicking its toe is “hm, body works”
