Honestly I think that humanities ability to be both light and dark in the darksiders universe is something that humanity is naturally able to do. However when angles "fall to darkness" it's something that's more of a crime against their own nature, and it twists and warps them in the process (all you need to do is look at either Abadon or Raciel from the abomination vault novel to know that statement is true). They can do it, but they really shouldn't.
That would make sense, but near the end of Darksiders: Genesis, it is mentioned that the humans now feel fear, hate, lust, etc. I’ve still be trying to figure out what made Humans seem to different in the Darksiders Universe.

Can you guys do a video about the destroyed city in the first darksiders?
Theories vary on it. New York and the city where Vigil was based ate the two most prominent (there are Vigil employee parking signs in the parking garage that you crash in after the apocalypse)
Could you guys do a lore video of War you've done death and fury it would be good to have some more background on War as well

you know, my daughter was watching your darksiders 3 finale video today & i was re-watching it with her & she posed an EXCELLENT question i hadn't noticed before. during the final boss fight, where is war? he is supposed to be currently chained at the counsels feet right? so why is it we at LEAST don't SEE/HEAR him while in the counsels chamber? if someone could solve this bit of confusion i would be forever grateful. =)
So that's... kinda confusing. We've actually discussed this ourselves, and we're not 100% sure. One of the other games says that at some point, War's soul spends time cooling in the Abyss. So we're thinking that's where he is during that scene. But we also kinda thought that was before he was brought back, which would mean that was before the first scene you mentioned. So we're not really sure. Obviously he's imprisoned somewhere, we're just not sure where.

Hey guys, love the video as always! What do you think happened to Eideard's soul in Darksiders 2, after the Guardian was destroyed clearing the Corruption to the Tree of Life? Since Makers souls don't recycle through the Well of Souls, what do you think happens if the Wardens are destroyed?
It seems likely that a Maker's soul can be collected into a Heartstone for awhile after their death (otherwise there wouldn't logically be too many filled heartstones lying around) then again, maybe, considering their size, that's just what a Maker's body turns into upon death (pure speculation) as for what happens after one is destroyed? We presume they're just gone?

This question isn't really linked with this video but I'm curious, who do you guys think is the strongest final boss in the Darksiders series? The Destroyer, Absalom, Envy or Moloch? And what order would you place the bosses in in terms of their power?
Haven't dealt with Genesis's boss yet, but in terms of which boss was most difficult that we have played? We'd probably say Absalom from DS2.

I should have made that more clear that was what I meant from the start with my first comment so sorry about that. But thanks for replying, keep up the great work!

random thoughts but could the black tower have been placed where a tree of life should have been or was?
Due to the fact that the Well of Souls seems to be accessible from the tree's of life and death. And there is a portal to the Well of Souls at the bottom of the tower that is quite possible. (that being said it's also quite possible that they just made a portal to it on their own. :P)
Can you go over what strife was doing as a human in darksiders 3??
Unfortunately there is literally zero information beyond what we see in game for that. At least far as we've been able to discover.
@@TrueMastersandMorons from what I remember playing through both Darksiders 2 and 3, the Hunter from Darksiders 2 looks a lot like “Jones”. Maybe that can help a bit? Purely speculation though.

This is somewhat unrelated, but do you think that Remnant: From the Ashes could work in a Darksiders setting? As in, we play as the Humans?
This is on the assumption that Remnant: From the Ashes was made as an off-shoot of the Darksiders franchise, being that we're playing as one of the surviving Humans.
Haven't played Remnant, but it's conceptually a cool idea for them to be what's left of humanity (think remnant is more of a multiverse thing though, but again, haven't played it)

Darksiders 1 didn't technically have a crucible, Wicked K can be found several times and dueled instead.
Why would Heaven,Hell and the charred council wants to destroy humanity?
Because Hell wants to destroy everything, Heaven just wants to destroy Hell at all costs and the council is scared that humanity will take their jobs. :P
I have more darksiders 2 walkthroughs on my UA-cam channel talkativekarl. This is one of my top 20 video games that I love so much. Death is the best and I can't wait for strife in darksiders genesis. 😁
