Not sure about other houses but my controlled load circuit is used to heat my hot water system. My sparky initially installed the wall charger on the normal circuit but when I found out I had to get him to come back and change it. Controlled load circuit is cheaper then normal circuit by about 20%.
The inbuilt GPS/SatNav is quite good. It has too many warnings perhaps and seems to think that I am off track when I'm not. A particularly annoying thing, which I think could be easily fixed in the software, is that the trip settings allow highways or toll roads to be avoided. I have repeatedly unchecked the avoid highways, only to find that the route is taking me on a back road because it has checked itself.
yes, the default for avoid highways should be off
Thanks for the infoarmative update Ian. I do like the Seal but as I prefer an SUV, I'll keep the Atto 3 until the Seal U hopefully comes to Oz next year.
I tested the Atto 3 last week and everything was fine with the car except the heater. The air wasn't really warm and I am a little bit scared what will happens when its really cold. So I will test the heater from the seal before I buy one.

Would the high regen mode have any benefits over the standard mode in terms of brake wear?
No, when you brake the motor brakes first then the brakes take over when the motor is in full brake mode.
To the extent that the fuel excise makes sense, so does the EV tax. Inconvenient of course, but true. The now defuncr Victorian tax (my State), and the upcoming equivalent ones in other states dead on their tracks, a federal one is a sure bet. We will whinge, but it's fair.

You have posted this when the EV tax in Victoria has been kick out by the High court and so no State Govt can do it
