Now this is what an appointment should look like. Bride goes in, tries on dresses, and picks the one she likes the best. Her entourage sees the dresses, voices their opinions on whether they like it or dislike the dress in a very mature and respectful way, but ultimately leaves it up to the bride to make the final choice. No one is being rude 🤷♀️ Lace was definitely for her and even though the other dress was beautiful on her, I love love love the one she chose. ♥️

Some people just don't understand that you can give an objective opinion on a dress the bride likes, and you can keep your personal subjective opinion to yourself. This lady is very lucky with her friends and she looks stunning in the dress she chose.

@@annagraser5088 Can't say overpriced.. because high quality lace is a really expensive fabric, not all lace are created equal. Judging from how lace looks it is really well made. Always take into consideration the material used not just how intricate it looks.

Whitney looked great in both the Ramona Keveza and Pnina Tornai dresses. I'm just glad she chose the Ramona dress because the Pnina dress was $6000 and she had said that her budget is $5000. Money does not grow on trees.

For that second girl to say she was “irked” when Vera came to help was so rude. I know this is only a few minutes taken from a whole show but that was just rude no matter what. Vera is a professional with more years of experience than this girl has been alive. She should be honored to have her help, especially when they couldn’t do it themselves. Who doesn’t want professional help when struggling with something delicate and custom, also an article of clothing she’s never worn and has zero experience with. Ungrateful.

I'm just obsessed with Christiane's selling techniques. She hits the nail in the head with what dress is the perfect one for the bride and she won't stop until she convinces everyone that it is the right one.

Maybe. But I have seen gorgeous people produce ugly children and homely parents produce drop dead gorgeous children. And I remember babysitting for professors who children were on the slow side. Also babysat for two teenage parents, neither very bright, but the baby was taking in full sentences by one.

Right! It's nice to see that for example the friend at first didn't like the top of the dress so much, but when she came back out with the dress, she was full on supportive because she knew that the bride loved it.

You know how people always say "only you notice" about your own flaws? Well my skin is one of my physical insecurities, and near the end of this video I noticed that the bride has some blemishes and similar skin texture to me. If she sees this, I hope it wont make her feel insecure because it really had the opposite effect on me. I just saw her as a stunning woman. It took me a while to even notice the blemishes, and even after, I found her just as beautiful. It made me realize that this is likely how other people perceive my skin :D

I ended up being the same way. First dress I tried on, I felt something and the others I tried on after, I didn’t feel anything. It’s in the process of being altered. wedding is next month.

We bought my daughter's dress at Belks in Augusta, GA,they were closing down their bridal department. This was way back in 1991 so pricing was a lot lower than it is now. There is no way I could afford to buy her a dress with today's prices. Thousands of dollars for a dress you will wear one time seems over the top, and with the divorce rate at 50% every marriage is at risk. I guess that's good for the bridal industry because chances are there will be at least one more purchase. Heather's wedding was beautiful and cost a total of $1500.00 and she looked stunning in her $300.00 dress. Spending 25 to 50 thousand on one day of your life seems crazy to me. It better come with a lifetime guarantee!😃
I miss the days that wedding dresses were in dept. stores. I grew up in the 80s and 90s and had assumed that I would be able to purchase one for not very much at a store like Belk. Many many years later and I have never been married but counting on a consignment shop if I were to ever need a wedding dress.
Bride Whitney definitely chose the right dress. It is simple, the lines are beautiful and the lace is what makes it special. Good choice!
I really, really, really detest Pnina's gowns. They look like extravagant and overpriced teddies/corsets with an attached skirt. My opinion, no shade to anyone that loves them.
It's more than the cost of Pnina's gowns - it's the ugly gaudiness of them. They look trashy at any price. Even for a bride with an unlimited budget, she is paying more for the name than a beautiful dress. I wouldn't like them at 10% of their prices.

OMG, gorgeous dress! Perfect on her! Personally, the parts of the lace sticking up around the neckline, where that goes under the arms, would drive me absolutely CRAZY - in fact, I almost have a nervous twitch just looking at that. But if it doesn't bother her, it's all good, LOL! She looks stunning! I'd love to have seen what kind of veil she put with it.

So many brides hate the dresses that they bring into the fitting room. Serious question, why can't the brides look through the racks?
At least at Kleinfelds it seems most of their dresses are in the gigantic stockroom so there's really no way for the brides to see them. I assume the ones up front that we see on the show are the more expensive ones. If I were shopping for myself, I've wondered whether I would even be able to tell what a dress really looked like on a hanger.

She should have listened to her friend about the odd applique things sticking up on the neckline. I googled her wedding photos and by the time of the cake cutting photos some of the spiky things had given up and flopped over or were curling. It looked like she also had a different lining put under the lace.
This is exact type of dress I want for my second wedding!! Lace/fitted ✅💯❤️♥️ AND in an ivory or Bone white..or even champagne or blush!!! I spend my life in cotton because I live in tropical northern Australia and it’s hot as balls here. I’ve always wanted a really pretty and comfortable cotton wedding dress that doesn’t look like a stiff shirt. Cotton lace!!!!! It never entered my mind. I’m going to need to start getting some fabric samples. Does anyone know of any beautiful online fabric stores that sell cotton lace?
Not to sure, but Oscar De La renta has beautiful cotton lace dresses, that come in many shapes.
