She was actually an episode of Say Yes to the Dress: The Big Day. Her fiancé is so chill and calm and she’s wild and over the top. They are perfect for each other. Her wedding was beautiful and they look so happy together!

This bride is awesome and I want her to be my new best friend. The fact that she was a bridesmaid 6 times shows you she is an amazing, fun person to be around.

To be fair, the $5,900 dress I think is she the one she saw on the way to the fitting room at the start, so they probably brought it in to show her up close. But at least they were smart enough to not put her in it first. The ones they put her in first were actually under her $5,000 budget.
There was only one option over, and she was the one that chose it. She was told in the dressing room how much is was and she still wanted to try it on. There will always be a range of prices because that is the job of a sales person. Yes, they enjoy making people look and feel wonderful, but they are a business and if they can upsell, they will. Plus they were fairly vauge with the budget. If my customer told me "absolutely not over xx amount", I would respect that. If I knew there was a perfect item that was over budget, and we weren't having luck finding anything in budget, I would suggest and ask "it's over budget, but do you want to see it anyway ebcaus ei think it fits your needs". It's still up to the customer. You can't say you've never tried something on before checking the price tag and being disappointed when it's not in budget. You then need to decide if it's worth it or not, or if you could even afford it. There will always be disappointment when shopping.

I know 😆. Made me wonder if that was “staged” to make a point? From 2004-2010 I was in 7 weddings and none of the dresses looked similar at all
There was a time where those dresses were all you saw at weddings. I remember being on like Pinterest in 2015 and all it recommended was those style dresses

It’s crazy because it’s genuinely just because they can charge that much a lot of times. I work at a bridal shop that sells some of the same designers and our MOST expensive dress is 2,800.
I’d almost want to say, I’ll take a $2000 dress and take the $58,000 for a vehicle or to put towards a house.

6,000 for dress?!😮 uh huh No. That is over priced. That store has what? approximately over 2,000 dresses? and they couldn't find her a beautiful dress that wouldn't break the bank? The bridal industry is a complete rip off. Go to a venue ask how it is to book for a family reunion? Wait a couple of weeks go back to the venue and ask how much to book for a wedding? You will see a huge discrepancy in price. They always charge more a wedding. The same thing goes for caterer, florist, decore, DJ. The price is always hirer when you mention it's for a wedding.
