Sorry , you had so much trouble, Glad you got a new boat . Glad to see you out again . Looking forward to more videos , Thanks for the jig info, Good luck on Lake Erie . Bob
Buying the first of anything isn’t a good idea. Glad you got it figured out. Airplanes are the same way !!! New subscriber --would love to see a video on where you would fish natural lakes up north in winter.
I've found out these jigs come through wood better then a football jig but they do hang when the cover is thick enough but that can be said about most jigs even the ones designed strictly for fishing wood. It's definitely a great all purpose jig and I've been really happy with them. I would love them to come out with a tungsten version and for them to come out with a 1 to 1.25oz version as well because they really do great in grass. Great video as always keepem coming brother!!!
would love to see a video about using the Hybrid Jig, down here in Florida. I love throwing a swim jig, but just don't use a regular jig, very much. I just started to flip a jig, recently. Would like to hear where you fish a jig, around floridas 3' - 6' of water.
After you mentioned having so much trouble with your boat, that they gave you a new one, I became more interested in the problems you had with the boat more than the jig. Then I was left hanging when you didn't talk about it. LOL!
I just used my first jig this past summer and it was axel 6th sense jig which I kinda like. but I caught my bass very very shallow tho on it so I I haven't fished a jig since so this summer I plan on throwing a jig much more.
Do you have to break that motor in or is that from your your other boat? I noticed your really close to your fish cover , won’t that spook your fish? Good video Quince 👍
Reading that makes me tear up. I would say a jig evokes a sense of nostalgia in most avid anglers. Some of the most incredible and memorable days ive had fishing came off a jig. Like with any technique or lure, you have to force yourself to throw it, even knowing you have no experience or feel for it. You have to look at it from an educational standpoint point. I look at fishing as a constant progression. You will never get better if you stick to what you know. It’s what you don’t know, but are willing to learn, that will surprise you!!!
Pick a day with ideal conditions in a place you know you can catch fish take one combo and only a jig maybe a few of them incase you break off, and just fish it all day, it’s a great bait, you just gotta get the hang of it, it is literally my no skunk bait, if the bite is tough I know I can at least get one to bite a jig, one thing that might help also is getting a small profile jig and trim the skirt down just behind the hook put a trailer on that’s not to big, it’ll get bit trust me, one of my favorites is the buckeye ballin out jig, it has a small profile yet a sturdy hook you don’t have to worry about bending out, I pair it with a Zman baby goat, and it’s a fish catching machine!!

I've never caught a fish with a jig , zero confidence
Same here. Never caught a fish on a jig.
Jig fishing is so good. You must master this technique just like any other out there. Let’s go!!
Probably the best bait going around blowdowns if SB isn’t working .
