Would you ever consider doing a 300. 6 cylinder there are very few comprehensive builds and Ford guys love the engine and many of us need you're expertise to make a torque monster
Awesome engine Brent! I have almost the exact combo built for my '85 4eyed Foxbody. (Mine has AFR 195s with a port matched RPM Airgap and custom Comp roller) Can't wait to get it installed with the Magnum 6 speed behind it. My only concern is keeping the Mustang from twisting like a beer can when that 363 hooks up! (Stiflers full chassis brace system is already on order.)
Very nice build...I just want to say that I see the Ford Windsor aftermarket aluminum cylinder head situation as a failure. Go check out some LS3-LS7 aftermarket alum. flow numbers...ford enthusiasts are being had. The closest thing the Windsor aftermarket has is the 7721 Victors which are right there with'em. I'm talk'n 385cfm+ by .600 lift. You can use any windsor manifold but your into $2000.00 plus for rockers. And good luck with the headers. Where's the "Fast As Cast" SC1 ??? w/headers & intakes? No wonder all the Foxbody swaps.
Aftermarket head manufacturers are just piggybacking off GM's design. The LS3 might be the best V8 engine ever made. A junkyard LS3 head will flow about the same as an AFR 20 degree inline CNC SBF head. And, a junkyard LS3 head can be ported to flow 385 cfm Besides LS heads will bolt on to a SBF. What about SBC fans? They're being had to ...
Great Info on a different type of Small Block build -🤫

We built a few in our family owned machine shop. A great engine. Truly is.
Man Brent, your engines always sound so good! Crisp and spunky. 🙂 --410bruce

Awesome engine great job always enjoy watching and learning about small block Ford stuff
Like that combo
Shorter overall intake tract length makes for good upper power production with matched components
Very Nice
Great power. Beautiful build as always.
That would look good in my 72 Mustang coupe.
What a monster
Nice performer . 👍

@1bad505 Geeze, I guess that's why Fords never win any races.

IMO great Cobra replica engine. Lt weight and plenty of HP.
I assume the 311 has a drysump?
8.2 deck height block I assume?
HR or solid roller cam?
I don’t recall hearing cam specs, what are they?
850cfm, 😉 right.
It was an 850. No need to go any bigger.
