Yes, now if he would just start using pierced earring tags instead of branding an animal...my goodness, so cruel. And what gets me too are these huge collars they put on these animals...it seems in today's day and age they could come up with something less cumbersome. All said though, anyone doing the slightest thing and in his case a big thing, to stop poaching is good person and deserves credit.

This episode was great ! I had an accidental close encounter with a Black Bear at South Lake Tahoe in 1990's on a hike with my dog. It was following us . My dog wanted to fight it. I yelled and it ran off. It scared the crap out of me. It was only about 150 pounds but that is no match for a panicked human and a fearless 30 pound Cattle Dog. That Grizzly would have given me a heart attack. When it "woke up early" the story got real. Thank you for your brave reporting. 60 Minutes rocks. Need an update on UAP's please 🙏 🛸👽

Excellent video, appreciated and very much needed. The only aspect I wasn't feeling is the description of sperm whales having the largest brains of possibly any being maybe in the entire universe 2:35:00. What bothers me about this is the human race hasn't even explored the entire Earth, not to mention understood it and yet we make proclamations about the Universe as if we've explored it, understand it and mapped everything in it. It's like claiming you know everything about a city but you never left your front porch. The arrogance is palpable when ironically, we STILL don't fully understand many of the species in this very video and we certainly don't have an understanding of what's in the universe we're not even capable of exploring.

I flagged every 5 to 5 shift 30 miles of Big Timber off of I-90. Weeks later a crew member 20 miles north on the county line, seen a Cinnamon Bear running across the flat toward Columbus. Worked in Kalispell and Whitefish Montana at the local dumps, almost every day County Flatbeds brought in a bear cub killed not uthinized for looking for food 🥑🥝 in someone's back yard 😢😮😢😮!

To the scientists who say the tagging of white sharks is too invasive - how would you go about learning about them? Learning as much as you can leads to better conservation techniques and educating the public so that they too can help with conservation efforts. I'm pretty sure the tagging is a minor nuisance for the shark and scientists like Greg Skomal know what they're doing and would never needlessly cause sharks even minor pain.
