    E6000 is my all time favorite adhesive! So easy to use, clean up is easy on hard non porous surfaces and adheres such a wide array of things! Glad you were happy with the finished product, it was so cute!

      E6000 is such a winner, I will say I think I prefer the smelly version though

    Hi Haley Marie. I love your miniature glass garden house. It's really amusing how it looks so real.

    It came out so cute! 🙌 I love making miniature things, it’s so fun to watch. You should go in with some purple or blue paint & paint the boots friend. & you can always reuse those wood trash pieces to craft other mini things for your apartment 💡like tiny tables or cabinets.

    I'm so glad to see your review of this! I saw your miniatures last year, and I thought they were adorable, but, like you, I wasn't a fan of all the plastic waste. I've seen lots of book nooks, but never this brand of kits but I'll definitely be checking them out.
    Maybe you could paint the boots so they're not such a bold color?

      I'll be painting them for sure, and yes this one was so much better plastic wise!

    very helpful and interesting as I was thinking of buying one for either myself or my daughter but wondered about the quality and the instructions. Now I know.

    So fun and cute!
    Just for future reference, Elmer's glue is not acid-free so it will yellow over time. Whenever I do crafts or art with glue, I always use acid-free so it will look good, long-term. There are some white glues on the market that are acid-free but have the same consistency and flow as Elmer's. Japanese brands specialize in that because crafts are so super popular in Japan. Also, you could either paint the boots with paint used for train models, or you could remove them and cover the spot on the floor with a tiny rug, if they really start to bother you.

      I didn't use the elmers glue but that is good to know!

    I just finished this same kit..I had the same lining up issues as you..agree the base should have been sturdier also and I wish the front had an actual door

    This is really cute. I had not seen these before. It is hard to resist getting one, as it is so cute. Great job putting it together. I like seeing some of your other interests. :-)

    Can you tell me where part 13 is that goes around the white tubes? It’s very vague and I don’t know which part of the kit they’re in. I’m stuck

    I got to the cutting and measuring and had to stop after frustrating myself like crazy. The instructions didn’t do much for me at all and I’m still trying to figure out how to cut the tubes and which tube to actually cut

    • @HaleyMarieVintage
      @HaleyMarieVintage  25 днів тому

      Yes the tubes were hard and very confusing, I assembled this so long ago that I don't have any tips for you!

    I customized mine! A lot actually, so I wouldn’t say it’s accurate you can’t make customizations on this one

    • @HaleyMarieVintage
      @HaleyMarieVintage  Місяць тому

      Fair enough, I just didn't like how many outlines and things you'd have to cover to customize

    You have an engineers mind. I shudder. That's why I like watching you put things together, not me! Love! ❤
