    Walking is such an easy way to clear your mind and burn calories. In my opinion, it's better to roam around your city for three hours than to overexert yourself attempting a 1-hour long run if you don't have the stamina for it.

      Agreed. Even setting a simple goal of walking to the end of your block daily and back if that's all you can do for now then do it. I encourage people to do it early in the mornings when the pollution is at it's lowest and coolest.

      Running is fun, once you do it for a while you don't lose your breath quick and you regain your breath quickly too when you challenge yourself with sprints in the middle of the run it gives you some excitement and that feeling that you got it,you get to clear your mind too sometimes you even get lost in your head in the middle of a run when it's moderate and feel like a million bucks once you shower and get in some clean intake

I walk indoors, through the den, kitchen, living room, down the hallway to the master bedroom. Then I reverse it and go back to the den. I try to repeat this tour 10 times. No need to worry about Covid19, rain, heat, snow, ice, or wind. Don't have to dress a certain way, or fix my hair and makeup. Just go.

And if you try to look and understand the pyramid, food control is the basic, next is exercise or fitness, then comes along the medication and the last resort which is surgery. Actually they work, but you get addicted to them, those pills take out your anxiety when you feel like eating even tho you're not hungry, but the minute you stop taking them, that anxiety comes back, and you gain your weight back.

      Pharmaceuticals are the biggest drug pushers in the US. Most people, even obese people, can lose weight without popping pills.

    • @ZitoB

      They “don’t work” because people are taking them inconsistently.... they set an unrealistic expectation from these pills and get depressed when they don’t achieve those goals in the time they wanted to. They even still have slight cheat meals in between.....then they see no results so they just stop taking the pills or whatever and call it a scam.

    This a wonderful story of redemption. Facts: men do very well with weightloss 60% to 70% greater than women when it comes to losing so much weight. So, it's different for us, also, he was able to carry his weight well enough to walk 3 miles a day which goes with the fact he's a strong man already. I'm glad he has made it to his goal & able to get skin removed.

    • @sarah.j.777
      @sarah.j.777 2 роки тому +23

      @@autumnburton2091 CPT here, you're definitely over simplifying. While consuming less calories & exercising will cause most people to lose weight, men do generally shed pounds at twice the rate women do. Our bodies are governed by our endocrine (hormonal) systems & womens' bodies are naturally more resourceful at retaining fat, especially during certain phases of life. Male testosterone is an accelerant in a variety of ways, including its effect on their metabolic rate.

    • @autumnburton2091
      @autumnburton2091 2 роки тому +21

      @@sarah.j.777 obviously I was oversimplifying, I literally wrote one sentence. But regardless, my point still stands. Men obviously have a higher BMR due to being taller and having a higher muscle mass, but still calories in calories out applies to everyone. The rate or speed each person loses weight is irrelevant to my point that men and women can use the same approach to losing weight.

      There’s a woman in YT who has lost weight on 3 separate occasions by walking alone. She said she has lost 50+ pounds each time. The comments section are full with people who can attest to the same thing. So yeah, walking really does the trick.

      Actually, any exercise when you haven't exercised for awhile, will make you lose weight if you do it enough. Walking alone doesn't do it, your diet plays a huge part in weight loss. Also: Water does hydrate you, but isn't a good source of electrolytes.

      I can literally walk to the store and get my groceries. And if I forgot something then I can just walk back and get it. No need to worry about parking either. And if I need anything else like toothpaste, soap, sponge, electronics, clothes, etc., I can just go and buy it. Won't take me long at all.
