Regarding your Tube Bender. I completely understand the mechanics of your sprocket roller chain setup when intially making bend.... however how does it return to start position? There is no tension on the chain. The Ram returns due to hydraulic pressure, but there is no tension on chain when ram pulls back? How does the chain sprocket driving the die return? Is it spring loaded? What is pulling back on the chain when returning to start position?

There is steel cable warped around main shaft and other end of cable has a spring to pull back.
