+Jake Ziegler. Thanks! I didn't built the one on the 6640 I was about 12 when that one got built, but I did build the one for the 6030 that I showed at the end which had to be made quite a bit different to fit that tractor! I do ok with fabrication, but my uncle Benton, if you watch my Kuhns Mfg. Updates video he is the one on the left at the beginning. He is an excellent fabricator, he builds race cars and frames for rat rods all the time. He has worked for a NASCAR team building cars, and he has worked for a place that custom built firetrucks and ambulances! So I learn a lot from him.
+Jake Ziegler. Some years we get a lot up here in the mountains. Then some years like this one we only got one snow and it was 10 inch's but it drifted for two days so I had to use the snow blower in places to keep the roads open
Thanks very much, great tractor and innovative blade, thanks for the reviews on the blue ones, nothing wrong with green, red, yellow or what ever, the blue ones is just scares, I like it.
Looks good. I snowplow as well with challenger mt465, 9' fisher. I ran steel tubing to back drawbar, so it pushes from there. I think it then takes the strain off the front end.
+Jim Sullivan. Yeah in the next video you will see a factor mount hla blade and that's how it is. We have ran that set up for years on those 40 series tractors and also the T6030 NH with no problems!
I like that set up, simple, straightforward and clearly reliable. Interesting idea about the blade on the back of the tractor.
+Dan Whiteford. Thanks, yeah you can push both ways at an intersection or in a parking lot works good!
really good setup. we built some frames also. that weight bracket really helps... keep up the good show and tell.
+kim culver. Thanks Kim! Wait till you see the next video it's going to be the snow wing on the 6030
Looks good! U are a good fabricator. Like the chrome too. U guys must get a lot more snow than us

You can also buy the rigging from Byers. That's where VDOT gets their extra rigging.
+Jay Poindexter. Ok good to know!
Nice sounding turbo
+David Showalter. Yes it is!
Nice job. I'm having some snow removal problems. I may need me one of those to getter done.
+sam . Pretty easy to make
I've fix pickups time and time again. I really like set up thx
i like the sound of that tractor. that is a great idea. so you plow the roads that would be cool. how many nutty drivers do you see?
+Howard Younger. It is a good sounding tractor! Most people around here can drive ok in the snow, but there are a few that you wonder about. Lol
Excellent
How much do you think the plow and frame weigh?
About 3000 pounds
how wide is the snow plow, I'm trying to do the same set up on my 6400 jd
