Kate, if you loved Gran Canaria, then next time try Tenerife. I have done around 900km out there and still many more to do. I love it so much. No, there was no snow on the top of mount Teide. You read it as is spelled out. And yes, it is insanely intense and beautiful, roads are extremely twisty, narrow in places, rock walls, and edges without anything can be observed with deep drops, and breath taking views.
You and Mike would love Madeira, if you haven’t been before. It’s similar in that you won’t be over 40mph and you ride similar bikes but OMG the scenery and roads. It’s stunning.
We first rode with Canary Motorcycle Tours back in 2016. There were just 3 of us for the week following Martin. It's such a memorable week. Our favourite cafe stop was high up in Artenara, the place that goes back into the rock face.
Did this adventure a couple of years ago with Martin, Joy and Jose..., absolutely loved it!! As you say, the average speed is definitely less than 40 mph, but the technical roads and stunning scenery more than compensate for the lack of mph. Glad you enjoyed it!!
Round 'n round on the switch back Kate 'n Mike goes. Will they find the exit? No one knows. Glad you had a good time. Kate, the Tetons in Wyoming were named by French mountain men .... what were they thinking ... hehehe
It's pronounced Mount Tay dee . But it is proper tidy 😂 (roads similar to Gran Canaria by the looks of it) Jess and I went there last year , it was awesome. This video bringing back fond memories .
In UK you're using just the standard Wows, here you've unleashed the orgasmic WOWs..., and plenty of 'em! One thing that I noticed, you never commented on, as far as I can remember, is the excellent road surface condition. No matter where you've been riding, they're always good (with exceptioin of the Goat track). What I would find a negative here is the lack of Green. As soon as you're out of the villiages, with all those white houses and the purple flowers, which I also love so much, it's the same tone of brown/beige/grey wherever one looks, unless looking up at the endless blue/white. I've been trying to compare this with Lancs/Yorkshire and the Swiss Alps and realised that each area, is one of it's own..... This one trumps with it's road conditions, lack of traffic and weather. Lancs/Yorks with the green and pleasant pastures of home (and the various animals round every second corner!), and the Alps with the sheer size of everything, that makes you feel the size of an Ant, and very humble. It's been a fantastic series with fantabulous Drone work from Mike. Thanks 2 U both.
Having to concentrate on ultimate survival is the reason why I get more and more careful with whom not to ride with. I am pretty used to grouprides but have had at least two occasions this year when I have been on the very edge of my own (lacking?) skills going too fast on small country roads with blind corners and hidden summits... There are better ways to enjoy the rides.
My Spanish girlfriend says it's pronounced mount tie de. 😁😎 Ps: as i remember theres a secret muck road under a mountain to a beach NW of the island or try the TF - 436 road .
I decided last month to try the Honda NC750X DCT at the Blackpool dealership. Unlike your goodself I'm in my seventies, 6ft tall and perhaps twice your weight. The bike was fantastic i took to it like a fuck to water but unfortunately getting on and off it was a pain.i bruied the inside of my right leg mounting it and pulled a hamstring getting off it. The bike i loved unfortunately it didn't love me.
that could happen ! a reason why some humans close the epiphyseal plates very early in the CV's ... small but fast 🤗 ... sure for small people is lowering ...the most motorbikes have had , but tall customers have nothing to enjoy after 4 hours NONSTOP riding they throw motorbikes away ... a shame for german and japan manufactors
My Duke 390 would be perfect for those roads. Thanks Kate, brilliant vids
Perfect!!
Thoroughly enjoyed all 5 days of footage. Really looking forward to going over. 😃🏍
Glad you enjoyed them!!
Awesome trip/guided tour!
What an amazing ride

Not quite the same, but reminiscent of our SoCal canyons. Beautiful, scenic..

I'm going to have to try that aren't I, looks a great tour. Nice that you've not got to carry all your stuff with you all the time as well !
Looks superb, probably a bit hot without the right gear though! Quality content as ever.
You're making me want to do this trip. 🤔
Nice❤🎉🎉

Love ya channel but I think you need to watch them back yourself, how many times you say WOW will shock you 😮
Its a drinking game silly! Take a shot when I say wow. It's gonna be a fun night 🤣🤣🤣
Hi Kate, have you tried the Epley manoeuvre to help with your dizziness? I used it and it totally stopped mine. XX
lol I think that the local authorities would be much more concerned if the fires were not set by them.
My Spanish girlfriend says it's pronounced mount tie de. 😁😎 Ps: as i remember theres a secret muck road under a mountain to a beach NW of the island or try the TF - 436 road .
Its pronounced Taydee.. i asked the locals
@@michaelwilkinson5097 you are right she's as dumb as a rock 🪨
@usernamekate Are you riding Honda NX 750 ? In Australia the heat is the biggest issue for riding motorcycles and bush fires.

Sorry that was a DUCK, hit wrong key, embarrassing.
Still laughing sorry

Think there’s a miss spelling in here 😂😂
When AGUSTA?! so we can challenge that 1390 love affair.
Was für eine Jacke hattest du den an , wen ich fragen darf?
Scheint ja bei den Temperaturen gut gepasst zu haben.😉
Es ist eine Jacke von Knox
Ah oki ! Vielen Dank! 🤗
So shades under a clear visor are okay..?
Yes. This is what you get when lawmakers don't know what they are doing.
Best compromise is a helmet with clear visor and built in flip down shades.
Or a transition visor but it needs a specific stamp on it according to Martin :)
Better to go slower and enjoy the ride. Save the speed runs for the track.
