That was a huge Cheese plant. Have you ever tried the fruit from the edible type? One of my favourites and the wild ones taste better then cultivated. Seen them growing in forests wild but never on road side. What a beautiful place to ride.
They aren't native to the UK so we only really get to see them as houseplants and I've only ever seen them bare fruit on people's Instagrams and youtube videos unfortunately!! The fruit looks crazy though! 🤪

As good as any edge of your seat monster/thriller/horror movie I've ever seen. Those roads were incredible. I totally agree that King Kong would not be out of place there.
Nothing at all to do with bikes 😀. Knowing how much you are into plants, my mum used today take a pair of scissors with her when they went abroad on holiday, just to take 'cuttings' off really nice flowering plants she spotted, to bring home 😃, I still think it was the highlight of her whole trip😂!
Hi Kate, Love your channel (especially these Gran Canary rides), Q, if you had to chose (purchase) between a Honda NC750 DCT and the Yamaha Tracer 7 GT,.....what would you go for and why?......... BTW I`m 5ft 10 inches tall and weigh around 85 KG, age 65 and want to tour Europe.

Did you NOT know that Europeans eat more Bananas than any other fruit through the course of a year...? So it's good that there are a few trees there. I for one, need a banana every day to make my breakfast Smoothie! I wish you wouldn't make this kind of video..., it makes me wanna spend the money i've not got, to go ride that island myself. Probably go anyway, I don't like the Swiss winters anymore, so a warm winter ride in late Oct./ early Nov. would be a fantastic early Xmas pressie to me, and akin to that, all those fantastic roads..., they look even better than here in Switzerland!
