- *the official clock is we-time (as my left foot starts moving before the red clock switches to zeros)
** I took a screen shot with the wetime clock at 3:51.99 (see thumbnail) and I have full lockout overhead on rep 30
*** this was my 2nd attempt completed Monday 5/13 ~330pm CDT. Attempt #1 was 3:54. For this redo, I decided to take less breaks on the cleans (instead of 6/6/5/5/4/4 I went 12/8/6/4). Also, if the TTB felt good, I wanted to go a bit bigger...and they did (attempt 1 was 15/9/singles), this attempt was 24, then singles. I chose singles to try to catch my breath before the THRUSTERs, cause that was the workout! Attempt 1 I went 21/9 on them. This time, 22/8. This time was WAY worse! Gained 3 seconds on the redo, woohoo! #noregrets
Again, I am still believing in the wise words of Jim Carey "so you're saying there's a chance." #notdoneyet

For time, with a 10 minute cap:
30 cleans at 115lbs
30 toes to bar
30 thrusters at 115lbs

@@MFMustache I always appreciate the quality of your reps in your workout videos. Never a question of the completion of your reps, and I like it when athletes are honest about their own no reps. We know when we didn't quite get that full lockout, etc. Integrity!!!
This means a TON to me man...this is my goal. I try so hard to be to the standard or better. It definitely slows me down at times, but it is really important to me. That said, I definitely make mistakes, but I try to do everything in my power to have really, really clean reps! Thank you sir!

Damn, I was rooting for you John. As per prior post, I do not follow the age groups, but I did take interest in your journey. I think you said you missed out by one spot last year . . . and it appears you missed out by five spots this year. I know it is a bummer but you should be proud of yourself. Strong work.
Thank you Avera! I finished in 16th last year, but the cut was 10 then. In theory, I still have a chance this season, not likely, but it is possible. CF HQ is now in the video review/penalty part of the process. It is “possible” that some ahead of me could be penalized. If I don’t get penalized, I could move up. Also, when invitations are sent, some could decline, if they do, their spots will be backfilled until 40 accept. “So you’re saying there’s a chance.” is what I’m going with!

That's the question I wish I knew the answer to! Yes, it is possible...I could move up. I don't know how probable it is. BUT, I did everything I could and however it plays it is how it is supposed to. Threw all my chips in! Appreciate your support!

Where are you on the leaderboard? Did you make it?
Nothing official, just pins and needles as they work through the video review process and penalties. I'm sitting in 45th, they take 40 from my age group. It is still possible...just a wait and see game now!
