Nice that you finally have a natural, vegan body builder in your videos.
And he s only 14 skys the limit
don't forget the 12 hours of sleep every night and a 6 year streak of no fap
Damn, all that raw liver and bull testical must really work!
Bs- you don't get that big without some cathedral city
Alex Leonidas has been on the channel a few times.
This was equal parts enjoyable/agonizing/humbling. Thank you again boys. I look up to you both more than you know.
Probably the first time I have seen such a big dude as you to demonstrate such an amazing level of control
And Respect++ for not throwing the dumbbells after your chest set
One of the better Renaissance videos I've seen and I love most of them. Thanks for the technical notes! Bravo.
That was a good video. Many people here were impressed with the way you behaved yourself. Worth looking into your videos to see.
Just saw you for the first time but I will definitely recommend your channel, your technique is beautiful
really enjoyed this one, a few of the guys on this channel have been real creampuffs in the gym, just straight up steroid monkeys, but you put in some real good hard work and were humble and respectful the whole time.
Eric is the opposite of that biceps guy from weeks ago
Yesssss!!
Was cringing watching that video lol dude would not take any coaching
that video was so cringe and painful to watch, 10/10
Craig golias ?
Larry Wheels? Who are you talking about?
RP: TINY Weights To Get Huge
Me: Opens Video sees janicki doing my 1RM as "tiny weights"
This guy weighs like 100 pounds more than me and is juiced, don't feel too bad about yourself, lol. Compete with yourself, not professional body builders.
This ain't even his bw bench dude, definitely light for some dude like him
It´s all relative.
are you 300lbs as well brather
I'm 265lb and 40kg is a warmup, the key is just get bigger. In my case, fatter, I'm not on gear just 25% body fat lmao.
Probably one of the most enjoyable workout videos I've ever seen. Massive guy with absolutely zero ego, willing to listen and train with true, disciplined intensity. I honestly feel like if more people were exposed to guys like this, training like this, ego lifting would begin to vanish quite quickly. Dr Mike has changed how I approach training for the better, 7 years deep into my journey.
He's got a healthy ego. Definitely showing off for the camera a little bit with the extended eccentric on those dumbbell presses for example but he's more than earned the right to do a little peacocking. Man's a hard worker if I've ever seen one.
He does that all the time though@@jerryjohnson736
@@jerryjohnson736 He seemed really humble in terms of wanting to learn RP's advice for technique. He was asking them about hand position, rest period length, etc. Not thinking he knows everything already.
Always interests me that as you say this guy has been doing perfect technique, correct weight for the rep range etc. if with the mass he’s gained he decided to undertake a strength phase he’d just skyrocket. I don’t know enough about the science of it but it would be interesting.
Janicki’s a legend. That leg press video alone got me to start programming it again
When Mike said "I'm sure glad I'm not his triceps," I felt that shit.
his beach jog video got me to start photoshopping my legs too
@@idunnowhatimdoin damn did he actually use photoshop??
someone seems to be heavily moderating this comment section when i try to share more details about it lol
@@idunnowhatimdoin damnnn lmao
Eric is my personal favorite guest the channel has seen. He is absolutely next level and I hope to see him succeed BIG TIME
He’s been succeeding a lot recently as this style of training is getting more popular. I found him as a feature on Greg doucettes exercises ranked videos and thought his opinions were really well put together
Really like seeing 290lb naturals being featured in this and he's not even close to his natural potential, amazing!
He’s not natural. He said it himself, was 200lb lean natty.
Smoked out 😂.
"Natural"... 🤣🤣🤣
@@julienconstantineau3592 r/wooosh
Go watch the video with him & Simeon he just dropped it there is also a confession in the video as well hint hint he spoke on watch supps he takes ( TRT)
Man, I f$%in love this channel.
heck yeah
For giving false hope? Lol
Learned more from this channel than anything else
@@clarity2115what hope did they give?
@@elijahpiere5324 that was literally his point bro...Get a joke much?
This is the reason why I like to train with people who are way better, learned, and stronger than me. It hypes up the entire workout and you get tons of information from their perspective.
Eric's tempo and control is unreal. it looks like yall film in slow mo during the eccentrics and play that on repeat. then you hear mike's voice and realize this is art
3 nattys just hanging out lifting some weight
If you like talking but actually lack brain cells to say anything worthwhile just make a comment about steroids. Works 100% of the time with zoomers.
@@MuppetsSh0w Yea the reason people leave these comments is because the advice/wisdom in the video is sound. It's good. It's just that following it won't make any natty look like that.
@@MuppetsSh0w edit your comment again, bud. Unlike you, I don't make mistakes
@@ScottJohnson-cf8fk im mirin you brah
@@MuppetsSh0w I don't know, I read that comment & only saw it as a quick humorous quip, with no ill intent...these guys are all very open about their status, & they obviously don't need to be anyhow, their bodies belie any possible "natty" status, so I read that line as an "it's funny because it's not true" joke, not a "How dare they take roids & kill our children with their lies & sexy bodies!!!"
Dude almost 1.5 million now... who else been following this shit for years, and know this is the best channel on the whole damn internet? Next stop 10 million
when I subscribed to the channel they were about 200-300k subs. They grew fast.
Dr. Mike and his crew deserve it. They are awesome.
Honestly I’m pretty new to Dr Mike. Been binge watching ever since
@@LukaszzzzzI recommend the Q and A s in the playlist tab on this channel. So much knowledge in there

Doctor Mike thanks for sharing I can finally start my edging process for today!

LMAOO bro this made me snort
Let's all goon together to hentai
I've gotten so many new gains since finding yall just in learning how to more deeply and properly perform movements ...appreciate the knowledge 👌
My man! Eric! Your workout ethic is exhilarating!! You freaking rock! Thanks Mike and Jared for showing us this golden god
I've seen dozens of RP videos (because they're awesome) so the intro just bounces off me without thinking twice. Can you imagine coming across this channel for the first time and hearing all of intro banter 😂😂😂😂😂
Eric is a beast, and what a great guy to have on the channel. A lovely human. Humble guy. Trains super hard. Wants to learn. No ego about learning. He’s awesome. Nice one guys. … oh, and you’ve upped your music game, nice one.
Hello, dear Dr. Mike. These are my favorite channels: your RP and Eric Janicki. You have changed my approach to training and health forever. Thank you very much and immeasurable respect from Russia and Moscow. You guys are cool!
Eric’s the man. His yt shorts are gold. His training style is very inspiring
as someone with chronic issues from a hit-and-run that left me with fractured c4 and 5 plus three subscap tendon tears, the notes about scapula positioning during any stress around the c-t junction is SUPER helpful, thank you!
I STARTED LIFTING WITH GOOD TECHNIQUE BECAUSE OF YOU Dr.MIKE!
Awesome video! The cinematography during reps, the music, the discussions between sets, great stuff!
Great video and lots of lessons to take onboard. Thank you to the three of you.
I loved watching the pushups and dips section especially.
It'd be dope to watch someone this technical rep out some pullups and body rows.
Maybe a part 2?
Eric is the best. please have him more often
Great episode! Love the content. Thank fellas
Finally, been waiting for this collab since you did a video on him
Eric is a perfect form weight crushing beast!
The training with lighter weight controlled Full Range of Motion is a complete game changer. 2 months into following that program change has increased my overall physique. What a mental flip for all of us ego lifters!
Full rom is for beginners, it takes all the tension off, and as a natural u will need time under tension to tear then repair
@@user-wb1hp3ti4n Full range of motion prevents injury, esp as one ages past 40 and 50 years old. There is no situation where using less than a full range of motion is beneficial. Way too many gym bros and ego lifters that I see in gyms all over, and when I point it out, the answer is almost always the same, "Yah, but i'm recovering from a shoulder injury". Can't make this shitt up---the reason why they're injured is they were pushing way too much weight thru a very narrow range of motion.
Insufficient time under tension will affect muscle growth but won't get you injured. Too much weight combined with narrow range of motion WILL get you injured.
@user-wb1hpwhat are you talking about ?3ti4n
Eric always puts in the work!! Love your vids with him
Fantastic video.....learnt a whole lot and ive been training over 30 years......
this was one of the best videos ever! ty DR Mike, Jared, Scott and RP team!
edit: and Eric 😊
Need to get Eric Bugenhagen on here
*NO PENCIL NEX ALLOWED!*
this is one of my fav videos of this type you ever done, this guy is incredible, you can tell he loves the pain and doesn't shy away
The quality of these training vids is blowing up goddamn! Great work guys at RP Video!
This is probably the best guest hes had.
Love this shit. You can also do deficit pushups under control with slow eccentrics and a nice pause. Unbelievable stretch and very similar to the technique with flat DB press.
LOVE this video. Technique so good and intensity is so good!!! ❤❤❤
Hey Dr. Mike I just started my channel today. I’m going to attempt a full body recomposition/ lifestyle change. I watch your videos daily man. You motivate me to get after it work out the right way and I just wanted to tell you how much I appreciate your content. Thanks a lot man.
this man is a fucking beast
Beast uses tiny weights... Immediately inclines 275 for reps.
At his size he should be doing a much more, at 125kg I was benching 140kg for 9 sets of 20 reps, 3 incline, 3 decline and 3 neutral sets
This is the team-up I've been waiting for.
Strong looking dudes.. well done.
Mike, even your ‘blinks’ look really strong.
Great vid… Learned a lot 👍
'But he's so small' - All the guys hating on RP.
who's hating on RP with any actual arguments?
@@rudySTi Which is the point of my comment :D
@@Titan_ooo that changes what exactly?
@@greatbigbeard There is no clear evidence to how much of his gains are due to his training methods or his ped abuse. And before you say ' you still have to train hard to get results when you're on steroids ' I personally know abusers who don't even train their legs and have almost pro level quads by sitting on their ass. So yes of course him being enhanced changes things
@@greatbigbeard Gives that insecure kid a excuse
Full push workout keeping you big as hell
Big respect great workout thanks for sharing
What an animal 😮😮😮 amazing inspiration for consistent technique 💪🏽💪🏽💪🏽
ye that guy is fucking nuts, respect
I'm getting close to 3 months into working out, and I know I'll never be this good, but goddamn, I'm inspired. Every workout I do, I write in my workout book, "SLOW. DEEP. ECCENTRIC." Dr. Mike, Jared, and now Eric Janicki are all in my technique pantheon. I just want to be at least half as good as these guys. Much love and respect.
Start throwing some weight around guarantee you’ll get bigger then doing every set like a nerd, techniques important but u can go to far.
@@colefromcnda842yeah honestly it depends on the movement. I wouldnt recommend people who are barely benching 225 worry so much about injury mitigation but at the same time I dont think anyone should throw weight around on deadlift or squat lol technique is super important on those axial loading bb lifts.
@@colefromcnda842my shoulders and chest exploded in size and strength though once I stopped worrying so much about going super slow and just started taking the muscles through a full ROM with heavy weights.
@@TheKoog97 Lifting heavy weights with control is all you need to grow. You don't need to be a technique cyborg nor an ego lifter. Greys are good.
❤❤
Good hints. Thanks you for sharing. The next run I'm going to start a low weight period, with big stretches, as well :)
What a beast!! And the respect is soooo nice to see. 👊
Eric's at such a level, he's even showing Mike some new stuff. That last stretch on the dumbell press was really cool to see.
loving those excessive chest stretches
This was such an epic workout! I can’t wait for my next push day
Thanks Bra .. I'm heading to the gym in a few to try this out. You guys bust balls 💯💯💯👍🏽👍🏽
I think I have a different take on what tiny weights means
I hate to say this, but i never see the biggest guys stretching.
Just check it out Ronnie Colleman
You don’t see them take shits either, doesn’t mean they don’t do it
Thank you for the humbling video, really helped check my ego at the door. I gotta drop the weight and perfect the form.
This guy is fucking great. This channel is fucking great. Everything's fucking absolutely fucking great.
I copied this workout, immediately turned into the HULK. Thanks Dr Mike!!!!
Same. Although, I just thought about doing it, didn't actually do it.
Alright, this guy loves stretch under load. But since this is the Members section, can we get a response about the science of the value of the extended stretch. Is the anabolic response proportional? I remember the video of the chat between Menno and Mike about the ideal rep tempo and I'd like to know where this slots in with that.
These are pause reps
There is no "ideal" tempo it is almost impossible to scientifically test for "ideal tempo". Thing of it as more lengthened partials at the end of the set. The issue is that it has never been studied and is very difficult to study. Strength at end ranges of motion is mobility work and hypertrophy work so why not so it?
@@dexterm2003 There is an ideal tempo as most experienced lifters will tell you to go full range of motion on your lifts. How long that takes is dependent on the individuals anatomy.
Control the way down and usually be somewhat explosive (at least by comparison) on the way up.
No need to overthink it. I think Dr. Wolf posted on it and he said the studies say between 1-8 seconds on the way down and any longer than that is WORSE.
as someone who's just getting into serious lifting, this was hugely (no pun intended) informative AND inspirational, great work
what a beast, what a beautiful technique, huge respect
jesus this guys shoulders and arms looks like clouds
I love doing slow controlled reps, but i'm wondering if he really got huge training like that
Well, as a natural I got bigger in less time with RP then 6 years of "horsecocking it" with heavier weight but still "decent" form. Even when cutting and maintaining.
thats awesome! @@jonaslarsson4238
he obviously didnt
You don't grow huge as a natural to begin with.
You need hormones AND genetics.
No just press heavy create more mechanical tension enlarge your cell controll weights for 2 sec u will be fine if ur doin naturally for so long and u cant increase the weight further then use the pause tempo increasing rep range these are all progressive overload so think wisely even if ur lifting with a good techinque like rp you dont build muscle soon as they do cuz they are only big cuz of roids
Great vid! Just getting back in the gym to "rehab" after rupturing my right tricep tendons back in Oct. (Bone spur broke off, ruptured the tendons) This is day 3 of being back in the gym and just so happens to be a push day. It really reinforces I don't need to go heavy to get back what I've lost. Thanks guys!
Talk about the literal personification of everything you preach on your training videos. Just fantastic!
NO USE FU....ING BIG WEIGHT!!!!!!!!!!!! SIZE!!!!!!!!!!!!!! BIGGER STRONGER MORE WEIGHT!!
Back with that "lift tiny weight to get huge" bullsh*t
It's not the tiny weight, it's more of a focus less of the weight, but a combination of proper form, full range of motion, and extended time under tension. Way too many gym bros with shitty form, and when I point it out, they always say the same damn thing, "I'm recovering from an injured shoulder." Can't make this shitt up---the reason WHY they have an injured shoulder is because of shitty form, poor range of motion, and using too much weight.
This guy is a beast great workout and he pushed himself hard. A joy to watch
Love this channel 👊🏼👊🏼
Mike I watch this shit all day bro. This has motivated me to get serious again and taught me a lot thanks
Eric is certified beast! great video
Watching this made me tense up! Very intense workout, totally awesome!
?😂
I think this is one of the very best guest training videos that's ever been on the channel (a super high bar). The fact that Eric is already super jacked, super knowledgeable, super technical and was STILL willing to be a student here is what we should all aspire to do. Not to mention, the production quality here was top notch.
Eric comes across as a really nice fella. Well done for putting him through this. Great form throughout.
Eric the real deal. Ive adopted this training style and the gains are noticeable!
That triceps pushdown was really brutal. Good job!
Awesome video
I'd love to have this guy as a gym buddy. This is a great mentality and such a positive guy.
This is probably one of the greatest workout vids I've EVER seen in my life. Period.
Janicki is a beast, love how this guy trains.
That is very important what he says about bringing your shoulders together at the back when benchpressing to avoid shoulder injury and to balance
LOVE. THIS. CHANNEL. SO. MUCH.
Damn you, Dr. Mike. It’s supposed to be my rest day but this is motivating!
I've been moving the bar around like Eric since I started watching his channel and my god do I feel good
Most perfect Dumbbell Bench Form i ve EVER seen.
So cute to see Dr.Mike blush and shy when confronted with his idol 😊
Love the doc 💪🏼 and Jared is a fckn beast 2 of the best 💯
❤
Thanks!
After just ONE workout focusing on technique with lighter weights, I already feel and see a difference which is kind of crazy. Thank you for all your awesome content.
I swear, Dr. Mike and Eric are the pinnacle of gym inspiration.
That wrap up was like the rebuttal to all the people who jump on team full rom cyborg of the week to complain about the weights being moved. This was one of the most enjoyable videos yet - Eric's a machine and I am genuinely inspired by him and you guys. Thanks!
For real though, the extended length loaded stretch after doing a decent amount of reps is GOLD. Added points for exploring that stretched end range under load.
I absolutely love the music in the video when lifting ever since the Batista workout video 😂
Best pre-workout and intra-workout fuel 👏👏👏👏
I've always had issues getting my shoulders and triceps to not take over my chest workouts. Pinning my scapulae back has helped big time with that.
Whoa! Anyone who doesn’t understand the importance of ‘time under tension’ should watch this. Crazy! 👏🏼
Saw this on Eric's channel 3 weeks ago lmao... but he is absolutely insane.
