- This week’s episode is more personal than anything! We take a journey through plenty of tangents including the discussion of Taylor Swift’s newest album and what some of the different types of vehicles we have owned are. With a quiet week regarding theme park news, Nick and Tim spend time having fun and getting a little more personal on this episode. Nick opens up during his Hi Dad Soup moment, which creates the opportunity for an important conversation regarding men and vulnerability. The two also spend time discussing some of the breaking news regarding the expansion of Disneyland resort. We are so thankful for the incredible opportunity to track into personal conversations Thank you for tracking with us!

I love how different Tim and Nick are. It brings a slight chaos to the podcast that I deeply enjoy.
I agree. They have fatherhood and Disney in common, but their personalities are completely opposite.
As someone who respects Taylor Swift, but is not a Swiftie, I love Nick's breakdown of the TTPD theories 😂
I think we need to see what Nick & Tim looked like in high school 😂
Yes!
Agreed
I loved that Tim got so excited to hear about Nicks cars. 😂
I like the mix of this podcast, Tim’s humor & Nick’s mental health talks ❤
As a Swiftie, I love Tim’s obliviousness to all things Taylor and his attempt to guess what the 2 means. Breath of fresh air 😊
Nick and Tim thank you for being vulnerable about emotions. A way to show Jackson to be emotionally intelligent like Nick is - is by having those honest and vulnerable conversations about emotions and showing your emotions
Watching Nick in all of his Swiftieness explaining it all to Tim is literally me explaining everything to my non swifite friends!! And I'm totally here for it!! x
I'm a licensed clinical therapist and what you were describing at 15 and 16 min is grounding when you name what you can see, hear, touch, taste. It makes sense Nick you find the cold water helpful because it reduces blood flow to non-essential organs and focuses blood to the brain and heart - reducing anxiety and panic symptoms. It is another form of grounding =]
Tim’s intro - so unexpected; memories unlocked 😂😂😂
I was having a hard time with anxiety this morning so thank you guys for this very timely podcast. You helped me get through a rough few hours.
tim tracker live shows and that tracks podcasts are my ultimate comfort experiences. cures anxiety every time.
I love Taylor Swift!! I got so lucky this past summer. I won tickets to the Eras tour. My great niece (10 at the time) had the time of our lives!! I'm loving TPD! Taylor is a lyrical genius.
Tim drove a motorcycle when I first watched the Tim tracker. I enjoyed the rebuild of the corvair. It was a nice project with your dad.
Sometimes I wonder if Tim gets really uncomfortable, but he’s gotten good at hiding it on camera. I think Tim the best way to help Jackson be okay with his emotions, is by YOU taking risks, and talking about them with him, even if it makes you uncomfortable. My son is turning 9 now and I pray he stays as emotionally open and vulnerable as he is now. He is so kind, caring and thoughtful when it comes to other people and their emotions, that I worry society will beat it out of him. We need more men risking being vulnerable emotionally so that our kids and learn it is acceptable…. And it is something ALL humans should strive for, being honest with ourselves and eachother.
Thank-you Nick for always being so open and vulnerable.
I wonder too if part of it is the age difference. I’m Tim’s age and definitely we were taught by the “Boys don’t cry” and “Be a MAN” generation!
Now thanks to Nick me and my husband are becoming Taylor Swift fans. We are watching all the videos on UA-cam from the TTPD album with lyrics! 😊
at the end there Tim definitely wanted to be asked what car he would get if he could get anything 😂
Bwahahaha I was just thinking that too. Nick did not pick up on that!!! 😂
Nick, that dunking your face is called the dive reflex. It resets your nervous system. You can also put water in a baggie and put it on your forehead between your eyes and your hairline. I was taught this coping skill in my one intense outpatient therapy.... It's a super neat tool to utilize when you're really on edge!
The ice water thing is a skill from Dialectical Behavior Therapy that triggers the “dive response” causing your heart rate to slow down and blood flow to be directed to your brain and heart.
You guys are a true representation of what men and women are like lol. I relate a lot to nicks thought processes and then there’s Tim and his ADD thoughts about cars 😂
Hey Tim, you should think about "camping" in a tent in your living room with Jackson to give him an idea of what it's like and maybe get him hooked. Depending on how enthusiastic he is you could even move to the back yard, low risk cause your still home.
Just a thought.
I enjoy Nick’s talks about loss and grief. To say enjoy is a strange way to put it but I am meaning the sharing of the feelings he is having. You don’t know how much this means to so many people. Some people are afraid to share things like this. You are helping to make it less taboo to discuss it. Men need this.
I love car talk. I could listen to it all day.
Best line….if it’s me and him and a bear 😂. Love it!!
❤❤ I lost my first child in my seven month of pregnancy. His heart beat just stopped. I was devastated.. the pain was deep. That was over 20 yrs ago. I feel guilty because I don't think about it much anymore. Now that I'm older I've come to realize that my baby would have died during birth due to his condition. So in away I'm grateful it happened when it did as horrible as it sounds.
My heart goes out to you and your wife for your loss. ❤
Happy tracking Monday morning!!! ☀️
I loved the car conversation because I have loved my cars so much! I got way too excited when Nick said he had a Sunfire!.I fell in love with the Sunfire when i 1st saw at Epcot, they had a pink mettalic one on display and I went gaga for it.
When my 1st car (88 Chevy Beretta) died I bought a brand new 99 Fern green metallic Sunfire ❤ Driving her was heaven (and she wasn't slow at all!) Killed me when she was totalled. I do so love my 09 Chevy HHR I've had since though!
On the topic of showing up for your friends, it’s interesting because Tim seems like an active listener, even if he’s not sure what to say in response to a friend sharing their struggles. This in combo with his calm demeanour, seems to allow for his friends to open up to him (or for Jen to turn to him when she has anxiety or needs to share feelings). I also think most people don’t know how to respond to their friends when they’re being vulnerable, because they don’t want to say the “wrong” thing. But the way I look at it is, chances are you’re likely not going to say something that could make them feel worse, so as long as you’re saying something that comes for a good place and an empathic mindset, it’s probably going to be well received, even if its not the “perfect” thing to say in that moment.
I immediately hit the like button for the SpaceGhost reference! Amazing coincidence as I introduced our teen to that show recently. 😄 I always get a kick out of Tim’s intros. ❤
I have to tell you how much I am enjoying these podcasts. I have watched Tim and Jen for over 10 years, which brought me here, but I love listening to Nick’s perspective so much! Nick, we would definitely have a great conversation on a long flight, lol. I had a heart attack last November and have been taking 3 mile walks every day, and listening to you both has made me look forward to my everyday walks, so thank you for that! Love your chemistry and how great your different personalities mesh. Please keep the conversations going, you guys are great!
My first car was a 1991 Chevy Cavalier. My second was a 1996 ish Chevy Cavalier Z24 stick shift. Third car was a 2009 Pontiac G5. Those were all in my pre-married life. Now we currently have a 2012 Dodge Journey and a 2016 Honda HRV.
I love that tracks ,I love when Tim enjoys a conversation and gets to speak more !!!His voice is very soothing to me !!! Not much of a swiftie so would have been ok without it !!!
I love that even when Tim seems uncomfortable, he can still be present in his own way but fully admit, I need to work on showing up. Not a lot of people can do that.
My first car was a 71 ford pinto wagon!! That car was a slow tank that was super tough! Lol! So many memories!!!❤😅
Seeing Nick breakdown TTPD theories to Tim was definitely me over the weekend to my non swiftie friends (watching this now I screamed when Tim mentioned the double album) I feel so seen. Great episode! 🤍🤍
I love whatever you guys talk about. My cousin shipped the Epcot cookie jar home during our last trip and it cost her $12.
I love how Tim guesses it’s a double album!
Nick, you nailed it about grief. I got a kitten since my husband died and I wish I could have them both. Tim,sending that bean video was perfect timing to help "lighten " Nick's heavy moment. That's a good thing.
Bahaha I couldn’t stop laughing at y’all’s back and forth about T. Swift and Tim’s guesses for it all 😂
Love that tracks as always ❤
Also, I am very glad to hear I am not alone with some of my anxiety situations. The ice water sounds interesting but very wet and cold. 🥶

Such a breath of fresh air to hear people you like experience things we do ♥️ from a highly anxious person in the parks (in general) the ice water hack is soooo good!! Don’t know why but that or hot water can help me as well. Also mind blown thinking about Jenn and Tim meeting 98/99 we were just kids and they were just teenage dirtbags babbbyyyy ♥️ mom & dad been together forever 🙏🏻
I'm listening to this as I'm doing dishes and CRACKING UP the entire time, my husband keeps looking over at me like I'm some kind of weirdo 😆😆. You guys are so funny!! I seriously look forward to Monday mornings all the time now lol.
I appreciate that Tim was interested in the swiftie theories and appreciates it AND was trying to help figure out the ✌🏼thanks you two!
I’m afraid, I’m with Tim…. I was thinking about car lineage all along too 😬
They have some things in common for sure…Nick is dressed for winter and Tim is dressed for summer 😂😂
Pontiac Sunfire did feel like you were driving a really cool car. Mine was red ❤ I’m here for these conversations. 🤭😎
Nick if you have attachments to shirts maybe look into having a blanket made out of them. It’s a common gift for seniors in our area. That way you don’t have to completely give away special shirts
I’m always so excited for a new installment of this podcast every week!! 🙌
The voice of Space Ghost was also the narrator of EPCOT’s World of Motion. And he was the race commentator in Herbie the Love Bug
Nick, I love how vulnerable and open you are on the post cast. I also am an empath and I understand completely what you mean, when you say...wanting someone to show up for you, as you do for all your Friends!!! I am a female, but I love that you are in tune with your feelings and share them openly!!!
Anyone else zoning out thinking about all the cars they’ve had rather than worry about Taylor Swift? I think I might be too old for this chat. She’s not even on my radar…. I feel so ancient!😂
Nick, when youre feeling a panic attack or anxiety coming on, instead of ice water, you can use sour candy too!
Loved the car part Nick!! Lol First was a 1995 dodge neon!
I love you Tim and Nick ! I saw Tim a few years ago at HHN and he is just as cool in person lol!
Love the deep dive into emotions and would like to say sometimes when I am having a panic attack I like to take a step back, put something cool on my forhead, and think of 10 good memories :) it definitely works for me and was something I came up with with the help of my therapist!
I had an AMC Concord for my first car as well. I loved it.
Another great episode!
Nick please give us a whole album breakdown while explaining what each song is about to Tim, that would be an amazing episode
Just need to say that I love the car lineage topic! I feel like Cars are sure a part of the family it feels so talking about them is a peak into their history!
I agree with Nick....LOVE Tomorrowland! I love Space Mountain, Tron and Carousel of Progress! We rode Space Mountain 9 times during MNSSHP.
55:02 Tim, I am honestly thinking theyre gonna re-create Downtown Disney away from the parks so that they can use that current area for more theme park expansions!!!
I feel for those with anxiety disorders. I have had one panic attack so far in my life (30, f). I ended up at the hospital because my family thought I was either having a heart attack or stroke. My anxiety is much better now since my life has improved.
Nice podcast. I really enjoy the banter!
Tim and jens name would be Timmofer 😂😂😂 i remember jackson said that was tims name 1 time i laughed so hard 😂😂😂
I feel like the face/ice bowl resets your Fight or Flight.
6:25 Napster n lime wire were awesome! I say iTunes too Tim! 😊
1. Love the car conversation 🎉 and lineage.
2. Appreciated the anxiety tips both Tim’s & Nicks!
3. Great show as always.
Appreciate yall 😊
Brak was a lyrical genius.
18:01 Learned today that an "old" ice cube shape is half moon. I'm feeling targeted 😂
Space Ghost's Surf & Turf CD was on constant repeat for a while as a youth. Also, I'm like halfway between you guys in age, and constantly amazed that I know all of Tim's references and none of Nick's. I'm curious where the line is for this media/cultural split.
Hi. Car expert here. 12 year ase certified master tech and have been identifying cars just by their headlights since age 3: SO. AMC was the result of the merger between Nash/Kelvenator and Hudson. They were about bankrupt in the 80s when Lee Iacocca (responsible for the 1964 mustang, the pinto, and the Chrysler k car) saw the value in the jeep CJ and bought the jeep brand from AMC. The “modern” jeep 4.0 inline six is a direct descendant from AMC inline sixes dating back to the 60s. You can actually swap an AMC 258 inline six crankshaft into a jeep 4.0 to create a 4.6L. Cars are fun I’ll talk about them all day.
No longer a mechanic but I maintain my ASE certs. I now program and run 5 axis CNC grinders making custom application solid carbide tooling.
I’m seriously here for the car convo 😂
I would totally listen to 'That Braks' 😂
Space ranger spin is lowkey my favorite lol we always always go to Tomorrowland first too!!
Stella is Leah’s daughter. Leah is who Tiana is based off of. and I think I read that her other daughter sings in the ride.
Tim’s random facts at the beginning of each podcast, my brain literally does not process his words as English… I’m like… what? If this was my first time listening, I’d immediately turn it off lol
I love Nick but he makes me feel sooooo old! 👵 I loved Brak’s songs!!!
If tims intro isnt about tracking taylors new album next episode……😂
And Nick, As for the tee shirts, uou can have them made into a teeshirt quilt... You still have them but dont have to wear them. Maybe gift one to each of the boys or have one in the livingroom... Just an idea!!
I love Taylor but WOW Nick has really spent way too much time thinking about this topic. 😳 Yet he was baffled by Tim’s interest in cars? 🤣🤣
Nick!! Stop saying no one cares!! We are literally here to listen to y’all yap 😂 talk about what you’re passionate about!!
Nick, some portable panic attack tools we have learned about: 1) Vicks VapoStick Soothing Vapors Solid Balm - apply in the middle of your chest from neck about halfway down, 2) Smell a small alcohol wipe square - also helps with nausea.
Also thank you for sharing and being an example of a good caring, empathetic friend. I would say I’m more like Tim, maybe because I was an only child and taught to be self-comforting/self-reliant. 🥹💝
You can 1000% ship stuff home from Disneyland. It's based on the cost of your items, but when my brother and I went there in 2022, we shipped... Umm.... a lightsaber, droid, Piston Cup replica, and a few other things back home to MD for like $70, I think it was? and you can add to your stuff too, which is sweet. in Galaxy's Edge, go to the shop that's attached to the droid shop. So like I finished my saber, took it there, and then when my brother built his droid, he took it there and could add it to the stuff they were holding for us. Then at the end of the day, went back to drop off the Piston Cup that we got at DCA and filled out the forms/paid for the shipping. It took maybe 2 weeks? But was tons cheaper than luggage.
I enjoy the podcast, I am same age has Nick and can relate a lot and my husband is same age has Tim and he can relate to Tim .. my husband name is Tim too. It’s funny because the back and forth is our everyday in our house, he says do you remember when and I am like no.. haha 😂
I try to watch these videos all the way through the end bc there are some good topics being discussed but then it just gets awkward with the mental health talk. I can appreciate the talk and empathize with others but it’s not what I wanna hear in every that tracks episodes… don’t come at me just my opinion
Random input here, But still use an iPod. Headphones, Bluetooth to car and home system. No interruptions from phone nonsense etc. They're great 👌🏻
Hope y'all like the views as I watch on TV and end up falling asleep! Have to comment on the laptop when I'm awake 🙂I'll admit that I've never seen an episode in its entirety, but it's fun to learn from the snipits that I catch. Es un placer trabajar contigo 🙂
Great conversations! I love reminiscing about adult swim, Aqua Teen, Hunger Force was my favorite. When I track my expenses, I still refer to Apple as iTunes. I refuse to change that. It is funny to think how kids these days have no clue about MP3 players. Fun fact, I still have my FJ Cruiser. It has 264,000 miles on it and running strong. I hope to get about 400,000 miles out of it and then maybe get a Rivian or see about converting the FJ to electric. I do hate how much gas it uses. Gender characteristics are on a spectrum. Even as a female, I tend to lean towards more feeling like Tim does when it comes to certain emotions, etc. I feel uncomfortable and don’t want to think about emotions surrounding miscarriages, so it was all I could do not to fast-forward through that. Not that I don’t feel super sorry for your losses Nick. I am not a Swifty, but I admire Taylor Swift, and enjoy being kept up-to-date on her life! It’s super interesting. Love to you both and your families. Keep on trackin.
Thank goodness for that Mickey on Tim's shirt or else I would think he was naked. 😂
During chemo one loses their hair- their is a freeze cap that one can wear - it freezes the scalp-
Am I excited about cars? No. But I am excited about Tim excited about cars
Fallout was so violently quirky and oddly wholesome
Feedback. I do suffer with anxiety and I do love the openness of these issues and talks of concerns. I will say this episode was not for me. Sometimes the talks of these topics can also be triggering and I do love the theme park discussions and banter. I just think it often gets very very heavy and that can be triggering as well. You both are fantastic Dads and people and I just wanted to as a fan and listener to make that known.
we've stopped clowning on a REPTV release at this point.....😂
I really relate to having too much stuff especially t shirts lol I’m emotionally attached to all of them but I usually only wear the same few.
3:15 don’t worry Nick! I’m closer to your age (I’m 28) and I don’t get a lot of these references either. I also didn’t know what Adult Swim was either 😂
Tim we need your car list and what you buy if money didn't matter!!
I ship all the time from Disney, less than checking a bag.
Make a quilt out of old tee shirts- did that with my sons Disney tee shirts from when he was young
Rabbit, escorts, mirage, sidekick my range of cars is crazy lol ❤😂
