    The super elegant Brit, easy on the ear and easy on the eye and eminently consummate as an actor/speaker. Has few equals in show biz.

    This interview is something of 12 on the scale. More interesting than 90% of almost everything today and I don't even know anything what they were talking about.

    It's ok Sir Hugh, you were amazing...I saw Malkovich at the Steppenwolf as the Earl of Rochester, and he was unforgettable...yet when Depp took the part in the film, he got it sooo right, and so did the elder statesman as Charles...cold comfort maybe but REAL enough

    God he looks delightfully shabby. Hair all over the place and the suit hanging off him. Look at 5:32. Quintessence of Stan Laurel.

    Now I get why famous actors get paid so much. Going through interview questions like this as a just half intelligent person would probably come under the Geneva convention if you did it to prisoners of war.

    I have always wanted to see Laurie play the leper Thomas Covenant. He would be ideal.

    They are getting kinder and more generous, but those attributes don't make you powerful, and the Rich and Powerful are getting Less Kind, and Less Generous.

      Bingo, and hence why criticizing our "leaders" (or rulers) has become not only useful but necessary in these widely seen extravaganzas.

    He used to be a comedian...seems he made the right step in doing serious acting...he lost his funny bone.

    • @UltromanTheTacoman
      @UltromanTheTacoman 6 років тому

      What are you basing that on? He was never an improv comedian. He excelled at his earlier roles, because he is great at playing quirky characters, and he's great at writing sketches. House MD rode on that extensively, although also drawing on his talents as a serious actor.
