Angelina is such an inspiring and magnificent woman. She is my role model. My gem. She is the person that the society should emulate. She exudes internal and external beauty. She is an incredible actress and film director. And most of all, she is an incredible mother. I love her beyond words.
Such an eloquent speech!!! She's grown so much, I think motherhood and all her experiences overseas has helped her become so compassionate. And for those who are wondering - she had her breasts & ovaries removed to reduce her risk for breast & ovarian cancer (which her mother died from) so it caused her to experience pre-mature menopause. I wrote a paper about her in my Biology class so that's how I know why she's so thin. I'm sure she's healthy and eats a balanced diet! I'm sure she's healthy but just stressed since she has so many projects she's working on. Stress can do a lot to the body - some people gain weight and some people lose weight.
Its so sad that while she is making a speech about women empowerment and becoming a greater community, still the majority of the comments here are just to tear her down, and based on what? Her looks? Come on... I find this utterly disgusting.

Easily, the best speech of the evening. She has her faults, but who doesn't? She's made many wrong decisions, but so have we all. This lady has been judged so harshly by the world, but that didn't stop her from helping others. She still works hard to help others.

In every part of this world a woman is challenging pain and hardship that we can't even imagine. As a culture we are focused on looks, but this conditioning has been done for men more than women over centuries. Women were conditioned for other things, they look for providers and what not. We are all just sadly unable to see beyond these things.

I couldn't listen to the speech, I felt a bit scared for her wellbeing. She looks quite tired and I feel she has some major health issue going on with her. Someone in her team or family, if you are reading the comments, please get her to a doctor ASAP and get her healed. Praying for her good health! She has many merits and her children need her.

Very well articulated speech. I just don't like the term equality, because it is just wrong. We as women simply cannot be equal to men. We have periods, we give birth to babies, we have to breastfeed, we are physically not as strong as men and mentally our thinking is way differe than men's. What we need is not equality, but we need an understanding from men that we are humans first of all, that we are different than they are, but nothing less than they are, that in some areas we are better than they are and that we are worthy of love and respect, and in other areas where we are weaker we need their understanding and support. Men need to understand that we are their partners, and that they need us for them to reach their full potential in life, because what they lack we add up. Women must have a right to freedom like men have, because God made us this way, He gave men and women free will, then why in so many countries women still are so oppressed? Why can't they freely speak, and say what's on her mind? Equality is a wrong term, and we don't need that, we need human rights.
I enjoyed this speech. I know she speaks the truth. Unfortunately, women in North America and other modern countries are also being treated with disrespect and inhumanity. Women are ‘victimized’ across this planet and I pray one day men will learn to respect and enjoy us for being thought provoking and wise human beings and not just eye candy.
What kind of men do you come across? Good men who have something of substance within treat women based on what she is inside, and not just by her appearance. And if he does judge you based only on your looks he is shallow and superficial and doesn't deserve your time.
