Can anyone help - I've been searching for a video clip of an incident at a Red Dwarf event, in which a young girl - aged about 11 I guess, and the picture of youthful innocence - approached the mic to put a question to Craig and Robert. "What's SMEG?" she inquired. To her astonishment, Craig and Rob simultaneously collapsed onto the floor, howling like gibbons as they apparently tried to crawl into it, before hopping around dementedly like vanquished contestants in robot wars. Surely this footage must still exist, somewhere - and hopefully, there is someone here who knows where to find it?

Grief, considering the last special they did was in 2020, Chris Barrie seems to have aged about 20 years in the last four. And Danny is really grey now. Truly four of my favourite comedy actors ever, I hope they're all around for a long while still 😭
So.. Danny knew my old landlord and he just turned up one day with his son and a couple other guys, just after the first lockdown in 2020 to hang out , and that's exactly how he was dressed. It was very random and surreal. Not the clothes, I mean. :D At the time I hadn't seen any of the newer Red Dwarf so I had no idea how good it was!
These boys, and the writers Rob and Doug, have brought so much joy. One of my all time fave comedy lines, from Kryten when he meets Camille the PleasureGelf- “Come and meet the rest of the crew. You’ll like them. Well, some of them. Well, one of them. Maybe.”
Was buying lunch today, and I turned and I noticed this 50 something asian guy standing behind with a tattoo in the inside of his right forearm. Just a string of words running up the middle of his forearm. I looked at him for a few seconds, and then looked back as his arm. I looked back at him, with what was likely a shocked look on my face. This guy, who I wouldn't recognise or look at twice on a normal day, looked down at his arm and the string of letters spelling out "Mind that Bus! What Bus? Splat", and said to me, it's from a TV Show. I looked at him again, and rolled up my right shirt sleeve, showing the words, "Mind that Bus! What Bus? Splat", tattooed down the middle of my own arm. "Well, it should be strange if I didn't know that, considerinf that we got the tattoos the same day". It was his turn to look shocked, and he realised he was standing next to the person who, 30 years ago he considered one of his best friends. Years, and moving to different countries, and life in general had separated us, and neither of us would have recognized each other except for this string of words on an arm. We chatted, exchanged numbers, and are catching up this weekend. I could have put it off, as I was a bit busy this weekend, but your really shouldn't leaves things until tomorrow if you can do them today. After all, life is short, and you never know when all off a sudden you are dead, and the only warning you got was, "Mind that Bus! What Bus? Splat"
It all kind of passed me by at the time but a few years back, with the wonders of digital TV services etc, I watched all the episodes from all seasons plus specials in release order and became a fan along the way. Right up there as a classic of sci-fi, comedy, and British quirkiness.

That is a mad questiin that im sure it will be around somewhere
It was on the Red Dwarf outkakes, vhs, released around 99/2000
Think it was on the Smeg Ups Video maybe?
@@robertwest4269 that was it!!
Thank you for posting this mate!
One of my favourites growing up and I still enjoy a re watch every few years. In my top 5 comedy series of all time with plenty of pleasant nostalgia attached, these boys almost feel like family! So great to see them all together having a laugh
Thank you very much for watching its up there aswell with my top comedy shows of all time
It was amazing to see these together having a laugh
Thank you to everyone involved in this! Very much needed for myself and, i suspect, the world. Much appreciated 😆😎
Thank you for watching and for the guys....if they are watching for a very funny Q&A
I missed this waiting the line for danny and wasn't going to miss it. Such a cluster fudge with the lines. No one was happy. Glad someone recorded this. Thank you
It was a bit rubbish on how they organised things trying to get down the stairs into the area and was bad and that bloody esculator aswell
Thanks for watching glaf you enjoyed the video

Started watching this brilliant show around 8 years ago so I was late to the Red Dwarf party, better late than never.
Seeing this reunion, really hope they'll do a new series! Feed us more!!

Oh the filming i sat at the back out the way and used maximum zoom lol
I remember here in Australia flicking through channels late at night and happened to see the start of the first episode and then saw the title saying "The End" and thought "Oh Smeg!!! Another great show I have missed." Luckily for me that was the start of the first episode the first time airing here. I have been a fan and totally hooked since.

Cheers glad you enjoyed it thanks for watching
absolutely class. Thanks for posting it, i really enjoyed that as a lifelong RD fan...
My pleasure thanks for watching same here RD fan since the start
Love Red Dwarf! I can see someone in the audience dressed as Rimmer from the 'Quarantine' episode where he had Mr Flibble.
i just realised, the dynamic between them, theyre like the british ghostbusters! (you can guess which one is which)
They are brilliant together arent they
That was absolutely brilliant. I would gladly have listened to them answering questions all day.
Same here i was gutted it ended could have sat there all day myself
Really good 😆 my fave Rimmer moment was with Mr Flibble
Mine was when lister told him he had his mum 5 times lol
Mine is when he is told his dad was dead, or as was first stated his dad was dad!
Fun stuff, thanks for posting these for people from other countries or those that couldn't make it :)
Also a big thanks to whoever sorted the audio, most Q and As I've watched, you can barely hear or understand the audience questions but on this it seemed super clear.
Thanks for watching most people were turned away from this Q&A the rude staff telling them it was full when it wasnt so hopefully this video will make them feel a bit better about missing it and as you mentioned other countries aswell
I boosted the gain on my wireless mic to get better audio but yeh the audio in here from the mics were really spot on
Thanks again..
@@g2emedia1977 I hope people like the actual famous people there know about the rude staff, give them a 'alright next time we wont bother showing up' notice to make a bloody effort to be nice next time.
I think I would have asked 'what's the best bit of set or item did you steal/'borrow' and never return?', makes me wonder whoever got Ace's wig haha
I love that the guys are just such good friends
Brilliant to see isnt it
I met Craig on Weston beach when he was filming for the gadget show. Fair play to him he came strait over and had a chat. Grew up watching these guys and still watch them regularly to this day.
Game On, Bottom, Red Dwarf. 90s Fri nites on BBC2 are un-fking defeated!!
Couldnt have said it better myself totally agree
You've triggered flashbacks. I remember actually being excited to sit on the sofa and watch those. Better days.
I remember watching the first season, being delighted by the great writing, characters and humour. What a gift that the show continued (on and off) for so many years.
The new MOTD lineup... I'd start watching
Ha ha so would i even though i dont watch footy
Awesome. I love how much fun they seem to have together. Great show, great people.
They get on really well i think
My favourite series is Series 3, and my favourite episodes are Series 3 Episode 1 _Backwards_ , Series 3 Episode 4 _Bodyswap_ , and Series 4 Episode 2 _DNA_ . I also like the _Backwards - Forwards_ extra from the Series 3 DVD 😂
Mine is Qaurantine from season 5
This was extremely pleasant and fun. Thanks for posting it.

"No member of the Corps should ever report for active duty in a ginger toupee"
Ha ha boss
Space Corps directive #1742
That was a boss video to watch. I used to love Red Dwarf back in the day. Thanks for filming it mate 👍
Thank you so much glad you enjoyed it
Red dwarf was and still is amazing
Grief, considering the last special they did was in 2020, Chris Barrie seems to have aged about 20 years in the last four. And Danny is really grey now. Truly four of my favourite comedy actors ever, I hope they're all around for a long while still 😭
I still cant get used to chris with hardly any hair lol
@@g2emedia1977 first time seeing him this bald/gray so yeah lol. He looked great in the promised land!
Nah, Chris Barrie looks the same as he did in The Promised Land. It's just the lack of wig which makes him look older.
@@Right_Said_Brett I did wonder if it was a wig in tpl after I saw this lol.
Maybe he has an illness. He is always very reserved in these interviews. Almost left out.
Craig Charles.... surprised that loads of people turn up..... really?? One of the best ever tv comedy preograms ever, popular now as it ever was ....
I thought that aswell why was he so surprised
These boys, and the writers Rob and Doug, have brought so much joy. One of my all time fave comedy lines, from Kryten when he meets Camille the PleasureGelf- “Come and meet the rest of the crew. You’ll like them. Well, some of them. Well, one of them. Maybe.”
Mine is where he says that would mean changing the lightbulb lol so funny
Would anybody like any toast🤣🤣🤣. Season 4 was absolutely hilarious.. white hole being my favourite
Brilliant show wasnt it my fave episode was leigion and polymorph...goodtimes
@@g2emedia1977 Legion, for we are many..
So what is it?? 😂😂
@@petechambers541😂😂so that things spewing time back into the universe 😂😂
Thanks so much for posting this, just smiling and appreciating how much they have done and how rare it is nowadays.
Thank you for watching my main reason for going today was these guys and i bloody loved it
Was buying lunch today, and I turned and I noticed this 50 something asian guy standing behind with a tattoo in the inside of his right forearm.
What Bus? Splat"
That was an essay
It all kind of passed me by at the time but a few years back, with the wonders of digital TV services etc, I watched all the episodes from all seasons plus specials in release order and became a fan along the way. Right up there as a classic of sci-fi, comedy, and British quirkiness.
Brilliant show one of the best ever made imo
Thanks for watching much appreciated
Where are the others? Both Hollys, both Kochanskis and the rest of the original crew?
The new holly was there today but norman not sure why he wasnt
@therespectedlex9794 no 77 he is now
Thanks for posting. Good quality video. Fantastic to these friends from this legendary show .❤
Thanks for watching glad you enjoyed it
