Thank you so much for the kind comment. We sometimes have no choice but to voiceover some video so not likely we will change it, her...my wife...April... Ha! Thanks for watching. :)

Just living in a place where people don't feel the need to warehouse dead and rusting cars, old home appliances, piles of pallets, plastic barrels, and blue tarps in their front yards might make it all worthwhile. There's sure a drastic difference esthetically between small town USA and small town France!

Ha! yeah. Agreed. So far we love that about France. ...most of France. We have seen some areas that are run down. There are very few places with piles of stuff in yards. Thanks for watching. :)

Bye, bye tangerine curtains - hello fresh and bright!
It's nice you're close enough to town for a stroll and lunch.

I would leave those long curtains off the bedroom windows. It’s so pretty to see the deep window sills. But that’s just my opinion and it’s your house to do with as you please ❤

What we should show is the curtains pulled back showing the deep window sills and beautiful old window frames.

What a lovely couple you are. Supportive of each other and agreeable. Are you in the Loire river valley? I frequent France most recently for 5 weeks at six different towns including Angers.
Your stone house is beautiful and what one would expect in that region. The lace curtains are a lovely touch too.
Any chance you might invite a few neighbors for apero? Its always nice seeing folks interacting in such a lovely place.
All best, Joe from a chilly Cape May.

We are just north of Limoges. And yes, we have had neighbors over for apero and been to our neighbors for apero and dinner. Such a fun community...and culture. We are having fun! Thanks for watching

Love your home. Just one question: Is the fenced in grassy area across the street the land that came with your stonehouse? If so, why not make that a parking pad eventually.

We have a couple of parcels that came with the house. An acre woods and the garden area across the street. We do use the fenced portion of the area across the street for parking occasionally. Thanks for watching 😁

Aimeriez-vous ne plus retourner aux US ? Que trouvez vous en France que vous ne trouvez pas chez vous ? Votre village a l'air sympathique et vous avez une jolie maison de campagne.

The curtains look great. Nice job. We enjoy all of your videos each week. We especially enjoy the walks to the village and doggie walks. It's such a beautiful country view. By the way...when you are commenting while walking, your voice is a bit soft and it's hard to understand what you are saying. I hope that helps. Keep up the great videos.

Hello, we actually stayed in the area twice in the last year and loved it. We would very much like to buy a small house close to the lake but were told that it is hard to find. From your time there now, do you feel that it’s possible or it’s a long “wait and see” kind of situation?

We heard the same thing. Houses are hard to find in our area. I would suggest contacting Andrew Mechant (the realtor we used). He is local and seems to be able to find all sorts of interesting properties.

We rented an Airbnb for a month , starting July 6th so we’ll definitely give him a call.

Your channel's subject holds a lot of interest for me, as someone who travels to France regularly. Your videos are pretty good but some constructive feedback for you: it sounds to me like you are often whispering or mumbling, making it very hard to understand what you are saying. I don't know if you use any kind of wearable mic, but that might help. You might consider simply doing a narration track after the face instead.
    Cheers!

Yeah, we keep saying we need to buy wearable mics. We are definitely new to this vlogging stuff. We will get better...hopefully. Thanks for the feedback!
