Renovations, A Real Farmers' Market, and E-bikes!

- 033 It was a week of work and play. This week we get some much need renovation started. We visit real farmers market and we take our new eBikes for a spin.

We are a couple of American Francophiles who have come to truly appreciate so many things about French culture. We love the food, wine, art, and history of France, but especially the people we have met along the way. Join us as we make our dream of living in France a reality. Cycling and recreational lakes are two of the (many) reasons I want to move to France! Your area looks awesome. Paddleboarding is a lot of fun - you could get inflatables and a little cart to pull behind your bikes.
Funny you should mention that, we just bought two inflatable paddle boards during the Soldes (national discount sales) here in France. :)
Great idea to get e-bikes! Seeing the world directly, instead of through a windshield, is so much richer. And really, is there any more beautiful of a place than France? (Rhetorical question, of course 😊)

So True! I'm into stocks Investment, Forex trading, cryptocurrency investments, Real Estate Investments and I am making good profits from them all. I always encourage Investments.

Most failures and loss on Investment usually happens when you invest without proper guide. It is best to have an investment *manager* who has in-depth knowledge about investing, to help you make money on your investment on your behalf.

Cute little French Market. Very nice lake area, it would be good for a nice afternoon picnic. Noticed your shirt said Northern Michigan. Do you have ties to Michigan? Just curious, I'm from Michigan, small town north of Detroit, spent many summers in northern area cabins.

Very enjoyable episode. Your property is looking so beautiful. Each episode shows improvement and your personalities. the e-bikes are a nice addition for short distances. the local marketplace is a nice find. Is everything sold there artisan? Ive never seen a water ski tow like that.

I think everything at that farmers market was artesian. Even the bread maker grew her own wheat.

Enjoy your channel. Perhaps you could give some more Info on your bikes.? Also, I'm curious why you blur out people's faces or children. You're one of the few UA-cam channels that I've ever seen. Do that. The only ones that I've seen do it for the most part, were ones where they were blurring out their own children's faces....
Article 9 French Civil Code is quite broad and not very clear. Images of children can only be used with a parent/ guardians approval. Probably all would be fine but you run the risk of someone objecting and having to take the video down.
As someone replied already, French law requires it. Also, just trying to be respectful of the kids/people here in France. We are visitors and don’t want to wear out our welcome. 😁

@@FrenchStoneHouseLife Yes, please! I misnegotiated a turn several years ago and had left my helmet home that evening. Was traveling at a very low speed...just a couple mph...and it was shocking how quickly my head went to the pavement. It was just a light tap on the side of my head but if I had come down just slightly harder or had been going a little faster it could have been deadly. I was lucky and learned my lesson!
