Thanks for sharing the brocante, what is it called btw? You got some nice items, we really like the glass measuring jug. Lots of nice pictures in that place too, we are coming over next week and want to check it out.
Good Brocante and a lovely haul of stuff. I always think those lovely tablecloths (which we dontreally use) could be repurposed into cushions/ pillows or if someone was really handy, clothes? I saw Charolais on the metal medallions, which are a famous french breed of cows 😊
Your "egg basket" is in fact a "panier à salade" ("salad hamper" in English ?) used to drain the salad after washing it. You use it by shaking it violently, outside obviously.... Of course, you can use it to store eggs if you like.
I am really interested to see the lifestyle you share with us but I’m sorry that I really struggle to follow as the camera zooms around so quickly. We get a glimpse of something interesting and then it’s gone, I’m getting travel sick! Thanks for sharing what you do. 10:15
HAHa...yep. Are you sure you're not masquerading as my wife (April)...? Just kidding, she's always telling me to slow down my camera movement. Yes, I've (Michael) been trying to slow down. Sometimes there is just so much to see..! :)
Apologies for the late video post. Sometimes we're just running behind! :)
Interesting things are worth waiting for. Your a Brocante coverage is good as you can actually see what they have, especially with your commentary.
Lovely finds! I especially love the bronze statue of the woman.
She is lovely...thanks!
You've mastered the art of Brocante filming, nice & slow, with good commentary. Some lovely things!
Thanks! We are trying to improve. There is just so much to see sometimes it's hard to slow down...hahaha!
I agree, this was the best Brocante. It was truly spectacular. So many beautiful things. Thank you again for letting me tag along.
You are so welcome! Next time you're in france, let us know... :)
@@FrenchStoneHouseLife I certainly will. The next big adventure is the Chelsea Flower Show in 2026.
Great shop and a good haul! Cheers!
Thanks 👍

Yeah, we saw medallions just after we did filmed this video and saw asked about them. Good idea for the table clothes.
By the way, did you ever end up buying the lot behind your property? I am enjoying your channel.
Still in progress. In france buying property takes a long time. We should finalize the deal soon.

Ah..okay... Thanks! I always seen them with eggs in them. Interesting.
Think you are going to need a bigger house soon!
Likely... Ha!
Lots of nice stuff. Just an advice. Don't clean too thoroughly your casting. Part of it's charm and above all value is in its patina.
Oh yes.. We agree

You should definitely go. Also to the one in downtown Limoge. It can be really good sometimes.
