Share your worst (or best) tire changing story! Mine is torching a tire off the rim because I was a noob and couldn't figure out how else to get it off haha.
Cameron Niemela took me 2h to get an old dry tire off a xr80 🤷🏽♂️ it was stuck so bad
I did angle grind it off :)
Cameron Niemela hey bro do you have a carb from cr125 or jets ??
Benjamin Roy dang bro
my first tire change ever on my xr100 i popped 2 front tubes and the back tire was so dry rotted i had to cut it off. i have gotten a lot better since then.
I've never seen a tire mounted before without using a single cuss word.
Haha so true
Greatest moto youtuber I am always waiting on your next video and go into sadness when I finish one 😂 Can’t wait to see the next video!!!!
Put baby powder in a garbage bag. Air tube just enough to take shape and place in bag and shake. It covers tubes perfectly and will work multiple times
That looks so easy.
My last change was terrible. After years of relying on mechanics I had forgotten about all the little tricks to make it easy.
The sweat the poured off me was insane!
Nice work, i am already working on dirtbike and then i will go and repair wheels as you did. This video brought me lots of inspiration.
Damn that tool made it look so much easier and safer on the rim 👌 nicely done.
Your toolbox has all kinds of surprises...sweet looking wheels all finished up.
Some great tips for working on dirt bikes here! Loving this stuff wish I found this youtuber earlier, great work.
Awesome tool and awesome tire change video. I really appreciate the close ups and detail.
The no pinch will allow this old guy to do my own mounting again . Thanks for passing it . Another good presentation . . .
Love watching your videos, I learn so much. Thanks keep on keeping on.
Just got my Husky 125 fixed up, test drived it and aftert that Cameron just uploads a new vid, awesome. It's hella slippery in Finland though.
Liukasta on
Varsinkin iltasin ku on tiet täysin jääs
Just pistin derbii kii uuden takakatteen, ku heiti vähä lintas liikaa :p
Itel läks takarengas vetää sivuluisuu ku pääs piikille kakkosvaihteel, frendit sano et näytti vähä hurjalt ku rengas sai pitoo vast iha reunas :D
Etelässä tiet ei enää jääs mut perkele ku oma husse sutii ku tota hiekkaa noilla teillä
Glad you showed the front! The rear is pretty easy. But the front, if you don’t know what you’re doing, is a difficult. That tool is awesome
That looks so easy! And those wheels came out really nice
I carry this tool on my longer trips within an old sock in my panniers. The bike I was riding had a 17 " wheel and I had a Motoz Adventure rear tyre on it. Those are hard to fit, being stiff in the sidewall. You do need to practice using this tool. As luck would have it, I didn't get any punctures on the " Big Trip" but I did get to use the tool on other rider's bikes. My fee was one beer per tyre. On an 18 " wheel / smaller tyres I probably would keep this tool at home.
Credit to you Sir for owning up to that little scratch on the rim. It gives a warning to those who care about scratches, not me though I scratch them more while riding.
nice, going to be changing my dirt bike tires next weekend. Thanks!
I just got a set of tubliss
always love your stuff my dude
I got one of these tools last week. Holy crap it is a game changer!
Just to make it even easier, use the powder and apply to the tire/tube before installing👌helps to get the tube move in the tire instead of stretching. Love the videos. Being a mechanic I love seeing tools that make the process easier.👍glad your doing good.
Not watched the video yet already know it will be awsome
Can’t wait to see the final bike😍
Great Video, thanks for explaining about the proper position of the two nuts on the tube
Nice video, clean and clear 👌✌️
That is a must have tool. Great job
I love the shot of the tire bead seating on the rim lol nice video work
Definitely gonna pick up one of those tire Mounting tools
Looking mint😍 great video as always
Great video your really good at mounting tires with that tire tool
awesome video cameron!
You make everything look so easy tho, good vids they help me a lot with my bike
2 eggscelent videos! Vid where you assembled the spokes and mounting tires, i got some great tips!
Your my inspiration for racing and your vids are dope af
More interesting the tool. Good job Cameron.
I can’t freaking wait for this bike to be done!!
Perfect, this is exactly what I was looking for !
Loved the vid! Keep it up👍🏼
Your videos are so useful, teached me a lot of things man. Now, time to practice on my own bike :)
Were you ever teached grammar???
N Z Z S you need to be teached grammar lol
@@nzzs203 Learn to think before you speak lol. English isn't my primary language lmao.
Made it look easy. I hate mounting dirt bike tires, may have to look into that tool.
Love ya videos, great job
Really love your Videos dude!!
another great video as always :)
Your awesome Cameron!
I ordered a baja and used it yesterday for the first time. At the last little bit it seemed to want to dig into the tire instead of pushing it down onto the rim. It was a gummy "cheater" tire. Maybe a regular tire wood work better or maybe it was user error. Tire was warm and i used plenty of lube, watched several vids and followed instructions still had to end up spooning the last bit onto the rim
Im going to get the tool but put a rubber coating / flex seal on the end to help form hitting my shiny rims thought I’d post this so other people can do it to.
What an awesome vid., thank you 🙏
I need one of these!
I just mounted up a D606 this month and it was so much easier with a Baja No Pinch. If you need a little extra help use a couple of bar clamps to squeeze the beads of the tire together.
i cannot wait for this build to finish...its killing me inside to know what the end result is!
Many thanks for sharing your mistakes. One of the best what I can imagine is prevent mistakes and damages without first experience almost like in the perfect World :-)
Looking like a pro. 👌
Just changed my tires yesterday thanks for video
That tool should have a hard plastic tip to prevent nicking rim
Seems like a useful tool. 👍
that tool looks so convenient
This will be very helpful🤘🤙
Nice man!!!
Pretty fricken slick🤙
Do you think it would be easier to mount with one of the tire mounting stands with the bead breaker/press arm in conjunction with the Baja no pinch?
This Tool is so cool i will this tool😬
I used to use that yamalube stuff but have went away from it and use just a lil bit of grease along the bead. If you let that spray lube dry it will skin over and you will never be able to scrub it off
Amazing
Awesome
Great video as always! (y)
Black Rims look great, but show changing nicks and other stuff, so it goes. Appreciate your honesty!
Tried changing a front tire for the first time yesterday...got it 95% done, and then piched the damn tube...perhaps i should look into that tool your using
how are you cameron I hope you are well I have a question I would like to know if my motorcycle has the possibility of putting a thicker tire? the size of the rear tire 90/100/14 and the front is 70/100/17 so they originally come
I always fill the tube up and let the air out a couple times to ensure there are no wrinkles in it before seating the bead and my worst story is busting my knuckles on the disc and sprocket getting the tire mounted but im pretty much the Michelin man now days with my skills lol
I like the Motorsport website more. I just like how it’s set up and how easy it is to use but that’s just my opinion. Anyways nice video as always
*PARTOF THE NOTIFICATION SQUAD YAY GOOD VIDEO*
When doing the rebuild for the Honda are you going to do a restyle kit if so that’d be an awesome video to see the fitment and how it’d look and thanks for the great videos keep it up
I'll have to look into that kit some more when the time comes. Thanks for watching man
They look sweet
Those are the freshest wheels I have ever seen good job man keep it up 👊
Man I'm gutted for you Cameron, you never know how something works best until you try it out a few times first .. hats off to you bud, I feel for your inner OCD. the rims are gonna get marked in anger anyways look forward for your next video !! regards from good olde Blighty
Hahaha
Hi… did you take your axle spacers out to get the Baja tire tool sitting on the hub or can you leave the spacers in place ??
Please can you put that bike back together already it's killing me over here in England.!!!! Great vids and very informative keep up the good work.
WOW very nice man..do you have an idea on the brand and color of Sprocket you plan to use with the rims?
Not quite sure yet. Probably Renthal
The second nut on the tube, heard so many different ways of using this,is the way you use it the proper way,w=hats the theory?
Where do you get the rubber cap for the valve stems
would this work on 10/12 inch pit bike tires because the ones on my crf50 are a PAIN to change
Well another banger from Cameron. Can’t wait to see what she looks like in the end :🤙🏻🤙🏻🤙🏻🤙🏻👌🏻👌🏻👌🏻)
Uma dica...Use esmalte de unha na cor preto para pintar pequenos reparos.
Sweet tool... You should try mounting a mousse.
Hey Cameron! What you think about buying a 2003 KTM EXC 250 2 stroke? It has some SX, and SXS parts.
How do you keep the tool down on the hub when prying and keep it from lifting up off the hub out of the axle slot?
U should do a full mod build on the klx
Where do you find those ruber grommets plz?
Another great video, sweet looking wheels man! When I got new tires and heavy duty tubes I was wondering why there are 2 valve stem nuts. What is the reason for one nut to be on the inside of the rim? I read somewhere that tubes are male so that's why they have 2 nuts...... made sense :)
Ahahaha
Tool has gears n tension n ware out gears?
whens the bike gonna be put together
You make changing tires look fun, that’s really saying something…
What clutch are you going to run in the cr250?
can you do a supermoto build
Boa Noite tem no mercado livre?
Magnifique ! Bravo !!! 👏👍👌😉😁😎😉💨💨💨💨💨💨!!!.....
Never knew that your supposed to leave one nut inside the rim. Good to know!
Please give a link where to buy that pressure indicator!! Nice video btw
Thanks! Tire gauge is here www.rockymountainatvmc.com/p/726/3040/Tusk-Low-Pressure-Tire-Gauge
I had been mt biking for a few years when I bought another dirt bike. After changing mt bike tires for years I figured it would be just as easy on a dirt bike. Boy, was I wrong! After much cursing and sweating, I finally got the new tube and tire on....and then I found out I pinched the tube!
There should be NO NUT on the inside of the tube. Remove BOTH nuts so the beveled washer is directly against the rim. The washer is specifically designed to fit against the rim.
This is attributed to an email from Michelin, on an Ariel forum:
The conical washer sits over the inner tube valve stem and should follow the contour of the valve so that the convex side sits against the wheel rim when fitting.
Once fitted to the wheel the two lock nuts sit on the valve cap side of the wheel rim. After fitment and inflation to the correct pressure, the two nuts should be backed up towards the valve cap, and locked against each other.
This is not usually an issue on correctly inflated road going tyres, but should there be any slippage of tyre on the rim, during heavy braking or acceleration for example, the inner tube could be pulled around slightly with the tyre and if the inner tube is bolted to the rim the valve can be ripped out. If the lock nuts are raised towards the valve cap then inner tube has some leeway to move before this happens. Any movement is thus obvious as the valve stem will no longer be straight and pointing at the centre of the hub, but will be pulled round at an angle.
Muito bom seu trabalho mano sou seu fã curtindo direto do Brasil 🔛🏁✌
