Enjoy this easy-to-make, low-sugar granola recipe that cooks right on the stovetop in just 15 minutes. I love it sprinkled over some Greek yogurt (or cottage cheese!) with a drizzle of nut butter over the top. So simple and so delicious. Enjoy! XO - Dani

Thank you ❤ I tried this recipe without oil and replaced the maple syrup with honey, which I added in the end after switching off the stove. It turned out yummy ❤❤ after making it I realized it will get over in no time, should have doubled/tripled the quantity 😂
Granola on the stovetop...fantastic idea! I have all the ingredients, and am definitely making granola this weekend. This will be especially good in the summer months when you don't want to turn on the oven. I love making my own low-sugar granola. Homemade granola tastes way better than store-bought, and I can easily make it non-dairy. Thanks, Dani!
Hi New Subscriber !Is there another oil you can recommend? I don't think butter would be a good idea for the storing issue. because butter is dairy. Would avocado oil be good?
This is so wonderful. We have all of the ingredients in our pantry except for the dried fruit. We spend so much on store bought granola and this recipe is perfect with keeping the sugars low! Thank you for sharing!!
I've tried it and itu turns out soooo gooood, i feel like i just get a bulk of good granola for free because every ingredients happened already in my pantry.. what i like is that it's super easy method you simply throw everything and stir stir stir, faster and i can easily adjust the flavor while stirring it.. thank youuu dany for this amazing recipe
Made this today and it is absolutely delicious and so easy. I used dates and raisins, and walnuts and pecans since that was what I had. I ate a small serving with milk and wow it was very good that way. Mostly I plan on having as a yogurt topping. Thank you for the recipe!
I have been making granola at home in the oven and it takes quite a long time. Thanks for sharing this recipe! So easy and quick and looks absolutely delicious.
Absolutely fantastic timing Dani! I have the same huge bag of oats and it's nearing expiration. I tasked myself with making another oatmeal bake soon but this a better idea because I ❤️ granola! Love this idea and I can't wait to try it! Thanks!! 😊👍🏾
Looking forward to trying this out! Thank you!! A quick go to breakfast for me is cottage cheese with any kind of frozen fruit. I usually warm up the fruit first in the microwave then add cold cottage cheese on top, sprinkle with any nut and/or hemp seeds.
"A bite out of the air" .. I love that! Excellent recipe for storing, breakfasts! Thank you, Dani ❤ I too love yogurt with granola, fruits and nuts. It is delightful! Umm um um! 😉
I'm not eating nuts right now so I used 1/2 c coconut and used fresh berries instead of dried fruit. 😋 Delicious! Thanks for the recipe. It will be my new go-to for granola.
Wow… I can’t believe is this simple, and yet I’ve been buying it for years with questionable ingredients. Now that I know how to make it, the possibilities are endless!! Thank you Dani!! 🙏🏼
Omg! I tried this and it is so delicious, easy and healthy! I puffed some amaranth seeds and added to this…overall mind blowing flavor! Thank you for this!❤
Question - I'm wondering if honey could be used instead of the maple syrup? And maybe add vanilla? And I feel like you can toast the coconut with the oats and nuts, which is what I do in the oven. I personally enjoy little clumps of granola along with the crumbly bits, like eating little pops of candy. Lol. Any idea on how to create those? Maybe an extra drizzle of sweetener stirred in while it cools?? Love this idea on the stovetop!!! And love granola!!! ❤
I love this recipe! I usually make a double batch so we always have some on hand. I usually mix it with plain, Greek yogurt and blueberries. So good! 😋
I like making pumpkin pancakes with a healthy flour, Sometimes just regular organic unbleached flour because alot of weird ingredients hurt my stomach. Oat flour gives me belly aches. A little quality real maple syrup and that bfast satisfies my sweet tooth. I freeze them so easy to take to work with me and thaw out in toaster oven.
Oh, this is WONDERFUL!! Just made this, & it smelled up my house soooo good! This is so delicious & easy; love the skillet method instead of oven method, especially during the summer! A WINNER! TY!!!
Hi Dani, Absolutely switching to YOUR stovetop granola vrs. OVEN🙂. I read many of the comments, people definitely wanting to stay clear from grocery shelf cereals. *Yogurt is great as well, as you highlighted. When I have time, I make crepes, with enough leftover batter. I will top off the cooked crepes with mashed banana, or a low sugar preserve; cherry or peach. Not my preference, but I know Hazelnut spread is popular too. Tfs, this is going to be a game changer on the stove top 🙋👌
One of my favorite quick breakfast go-to's is almond butter with a little honey and minced apple mixed in a small bowl and then spread on two pieces of whole-grain toast. If I'm in a real hurry, I put the two pieces of toast together to make a breakfast sandwich to go!
Will be making this tomorrow. I have the same low-gluten oatmeal in your pic; it's available at Costco and is delicious. For those who don't care for maple syrup, agave nectar is a low-glycemic sweetener that I really enjoy. Can't wait to taste this Dani - it sounds yummy and being able to make it in a skillet rather than in the oven is a definite plus.
I like to do this same recipe in the oven at 325 for about 25 minutes. I mix the oats with olive oil, cinnamon, maple syrup, salt and sliced almonds. I add the dried fruit when I take it out.
Thanks Dani! I have been looking for an easy, simple and quick granola recipe for a while now. I can't wait to make this, instead of buying the packet ones.
Thanks for coming up with a recipe. I like to eat no sugar full fat yogurt for breakfast but it’s hard to find ANY granola that isn’t high in sugar including added sugar. I like to add walnuts and blueberries or dried cranberries. I will definitely give this a try. Great idea!❤️
Hi Dani, Ive been making many! of your recipes, just went on Amazon to purchase your cookbook. This Granola is over the top fantastic! Thank you creating healthy/yummy.
Recipe looks good. I have been making your over night oats for the past couple weeks. This might be a great recipe for when I run out like I did this morning. 😊
I've been doing this for years!!! Been told, "No, you're just making toasted oats and nuts." Well what the heck do they think granola is??? 🤣❤️ Anyway, lately my go to has been a good egg, fried in avocado oil, with some sumac seasoning on top, on top of arugula & whatever prepped veg I have, with a piece of toast. Kind of a breakfast salad. So good.
This is on my radar to try. I bookmarked it in your cookbook, but this is a sign that I should to make it for meal prep this weekend. Thanks for the inspiration!
This is the first video of yours that I have seen. I like the clear way you present the recipe. I have been looking for a granola recipe as I don't like our store bought options. Your recipe looks great and quick to prepare. I'm thinking of splitting the cinnamon into half cinnamon half cardamom for one batch to see how it goes. I need to get some of the ingredients when I grocery shop next week and then I can try it out.
Welcome + thanks for watching! I'm glad you plan to give this recipe a try! Can't wait to hear how it goes... love the idea of adding cardamom as well, yummy!
Hi Dani! Thanks for all your great recipes and ideas. I can't wait to try this Granola recipe - looks SO yum!!! I just ate my "Chopped Apple Pie Overnight Oats with Greek Yogurt," and it is absolutely AMAZING!!!! Love and happy new year from Australia. ❤
I have to watch my sugar as best as possible, so I use date nectar/syrup instead. It is very low on the glycemic index and I have to honestly say, I really, really like the taste of it. I use it as my sweetener in my overnight oatmeal too.
Dani, I am so glad to see you are making more videos. I was wondering if this could be used in the peanut butter smoothie that you recently shared? Hope you and your family are having a good start to the new year💖
Awe, thanks! We are back and plan to share weekly content again. Last year was tough as my Mom was struggling with a health scare and I wanted to be there for her but she is dong much better now. Thanks for always adding such positive energy to the C&D community! As for the smoothie, the granola may be yummy sprinkled on top, but I don't recommend blending it inside the smoothie.
