    Haven't seen many people complain about Hikoki tbh. It is a good brand that offers good products. 💯

      It seems to be one of those brands that most people can mutually agree that you really can't go wrong with them.

    The thing with impact drivers is that they are not wrenches, you don't need super high torque for those, some people miss that

    Finally someone who tells the truth, sorry I'm not a hikoki guy I'm dewalt mostly, but I have been saying the same thing time after time. Power is good, but the feel the longevity the finesse of a tool to get the jobs done is what matters most

    Just responding to the title, I'd say a little of both. I really like my gen 1 36v triple hammer.
    Anyone who says that battery is too bulky has never used one. It's insanely light for its size.
    By the way, how do you like those Metabo HPT bits? I picked up the 45 piece on clearance, but I haven't even opened the package yet. 😀

      @@Kaleb_RoSs Your point about not needing insane power was spot on, though.
      My go to impact driver is easily dominated by the Hikoki and the Metabo HPT, but I use it a lot because it’s comfortable and it’s what I’m used to. It’s great for what it was designed for.

    I have the 1st gen and 2nd gen triple hammer bolt. Got the Bolt for free with a 36v kit when I bought a nailer. I prefer them over my Milwaukee gen4 and my companies Dewalt. All good tools tho

    Being forced to use 36v batteries is a massive deal breaker for me i dont want to be forced to use those big batteries thats why i love dewalt with the small power stacks. If it weren't for it being 36v i would really want this tool.

    • @Kaleb_RoSs
      @Kaleb_RoSs  Місяць тому

      It is bothersome having heavier batteries but it is still a lighter package than the flex quick eject lol. Dewalt definitely has the best battery for an impact driver with that 1.7 PS

    • @nickp3270
      @nickp3270 Місяць тому +1

      you can use the 2.5/5ah battery which is the same size as a 5ah 18v battery and literally works on the 18v tools as a 5 ah battery if anything hikoki/metabohpt did their 36v tools better than most companies dewalt also did a good job with their multivolt tools

    • @DiligentDave1966
      @DiligentDave1966 Місяць тому +2

      @vanman, this battery becomes a 5.0 when used on an 18v Hikoki or Metabo HPT tool. It’s also lighter in weight than the Dewalt 5.0 XR battery. Just food for thought.

    Yall too funny. I bought my daughter that drone yesterday and immediately lost 3 blades. It won't fly at all plus the remote was loose the right out the pack. I'm returning it soon and grabbing me one of those weird tools 😅.

    The problem that I have with buying this Hikoki is I already have 17 Ryobi 18 volt One+ tools along with 4 batteries (2 4ah Lithium Ryobi and 2 4.5ah niMH generic)and 2 chargers. 5 of them are the old dark blue tools. I use most of my tools a lot. I am downright abusive to my 1/4" hex impact driver. I cannot kill these tools. My next purchase will be the Ryobi 7-1/4" circular saw. The only Ryobi that I'm not happy with is their cheapest grass trimmer. It just doesn't have enough power and the trimmer head is a piece of junk. I bought it for someone else to use at my house and it just doesn't cut it, pun intended. I'll probably buy a better Ryobi trimmer since the one that I have is the cheapest grass trimmer that Ryobi sells.

    • @molley17

      What even is this statement? The problem you have with buying Hikoki is that you are a DIYer using Ryobi? That doesn’t even make sense 😂

    • @RMartin631
      @RMartin631 Місяць тому

      @@molley17, I never said I was a DIYer. Buying a Hikoki would require an investment in the tool, at least 2 4ah batteries, and a charger. My Ryobi 1/4" Hex impact has never let me down in 4 years of 40 hours a week use.
