The ability to play a particular style is one thing, and we might even think of a style of music as a kind of language - what amazes me about you, dear Uncle, is that you not only have a handle on the languages, but you've mastered the dialects within them...it's your interpretation that shines.
So there is, in fact, a stylistic language we can call Uncle Larry Style...and good luck to us who wish to learn it...lol.

At the age of 9 when I first started playing guitar my Dad, God rest his soul, would come upstairs and start playing records for me. ZZ Top, Muddy Waters, Howlin Wolf and make me LISTEN to what they were playing. Thanks Pops!! Love and miss ya!! Keep rockin brother!! And…Thank YOU for inspiring us!!

Love it! The first thing people think of when considering doing a Billy G. tribute is "i'm gonna crank a tweed champ." Not Uncle Larry, he says "let's highlight the beautiful clean tone side of the Rev." Wonderful stuff, super inspiring.

Yes! Strat Fury is one of my all time faves! I love volume 2, as well. I can hear the cross over. That's fascinating to know you were thinking ZZ Top/the Rev. Billy Gibbons when playing this. Makes perfect sense.

Really showed what a wide range a Strat can cover awesome playing.I Love my Strat and am constantly suprised at its verstility.Some of this kick ass jam reminded me of "Angel of Mercy" by the mighty Mark (Knopfler)a d the end had an "And Your Bird Can Sing " flourish.Strat on!
