    Thanks for the explanation! Once you go with any other than stock intake, you have to go with the cable. I have mine adjusted just about where you do but I'm using an Edelbrock carb. I'm hoping that it's close enough to start with. The main thing is that as the throttle is increased, the pressure is increased to the clutch packs!

    Cool I only have the lokar kickdown cable on my 383 been building bikes since I was five so cables have been in my life a long time 😂... So it was second nature to me with my kickdown once I do all the adjustments I make sure that all the slack is out of the kickdown lever at the transmission at idle so as soon as you hit the throttle the lever gives you action this makes for very quick acting shifts from idle if I want to slow them down I just adjust the kickdown lever away from its resting position...the cable adjusters can give some fine tune of this as well....maybe some day I try their throttle cable but I love OE mopar😂

    does that bracket for throttle and kick down come with the kit

      I don’t remember, i doubt it…. I also modified it.
