@@someguy2135 that's true. I used to rely on DHA supplements and chia/ flax seeds. I have recently decided to incorporate sardines into my diet now, though.
As an ethical vegan, who also educated myself about nutrition, I only consume a wholefood plant based diet, and eat flax and chia seeds, but I'm aware that Algae oil supplements are available in lieu of fish. But avoiding stress is also important, as so many employers stress out the employees, and that is when people eat junk food.
The only thing about dark chocolate is that the plant that produces it is very good at absorbing heavy metals and most chocolate has trace heavy metals on them, I believe cadmium was the main one. So you have to be careful how much you consume.
OK. Then its also good to take charcoal and bentonite clay once a week to absorb the heavy metals in the body. Enjoy your cacao and clean out the heavy metals.
Why not use 100% cocoa powder in porridge - make sure its not got any carbonate added, that ruins polyphenols. I use tesco own brand. I wonder if in some cases of memory loss if the memory in question still exists in the neural network but the person cannot recall it, so I wonder if there are nutrients, some sort of TMS or therapeutic strategies or exercises to reconnect with that memory. That there are representatives of experiences held in our brains is wonderful and where no sensory information, that our brains create sensory experience. Dreams, memories of feeling. ❤
What about pasture raised eggs? Ones with deep orange yolk because they feed the chickens a healthy variety of foods and let them go out side in the sun? I thinks its the super food of super foods .
Insulin sensitivity is relatively low in the morning, so that fruit in the morning should be discouraged. A protein-based meal is best as first meal of the day, followed by at least a two-hour pause to allow for digestion (and to avoid unfavorable food combinig), after which fruit can then be taken, when insulin sensitivity is up
Of course it can. Look at the bear the video showed eating blueberries. Bears never get lost in the woods due to their superior memory. After seeing this video with its ample scientific proof I' m totally convinced. Good work, dr. BBC.
OK we’re getting somewhere. I have some follow up questions for you. 1) can we be sure those “improved memory scores” were the result of eating fruit or the result of not being malnourished? 2) can you cite actual studies or just say that “studies show” because you’re reading a script? My Grandmother ate what the government recommended and still got Alzheimer’s even though she worked everyday, even though she was really smart she even forgot me, one of her closest grandkids. She had no idea who I was. She wasn’t a smoker or drinker so you can’t blame that and she wasn’t lazy So lifestyle is completely eliminated from causation. Maybe the grains and sugar whether refined or carbohydrates are to blame? Some have speculated that Alzheimer’s is caused by oxidation in our brains and not cooking in aluminum, copper or iron cookware would’ve prevented this, would it have? They claim stainless steel would’ve prevented it but you have a proven source of dangerous chromium in stainless steel, so no it’s no better. So cook on glass only? Well it’s a thought but glass can be troublesome too from certain heavy metals used to give glass its colors.
Dementia other than genetic is considered Type 3 diabetes. Too many sugars are unhealthy; too high blood glucose is unhealthy for us all. And yes, there is no protocol that guarantees complete protection from any disease process.
That’s what we call a risk, these studies on most occasions they are assessing the risk of getting some thing. It doesn’t mean that if you are not at risk of getting a condition you can’t suffer from it. For example taking Alcohol puts at risk of get Alzheimer’s disease, this doesn’t mean that someone can’t suffer from the disease if she doesn’t take Alcohol neither does it mean that everyone taking Alcohol will suffer from the disease
