Perfect musical accompaniment! Thank you! This curation has outdone itself. A miracle of trust on the part of global museums. I have seen van Gogh exhibitions through the years. The drawings are exquisite.
Wonderful exhibition, the best I've visited. Some pictures we will never get the chance to see again in life. I will return for a second viewing. Thanks for the honest review.
Your excitement after seeing this exhibition is palpable. I really hope I'll be able to see it before it ends. Next time I watch this amazing vlog, I'll be ready to press pause, many many times, to spend more time looking at the works that stand out for me. There are so many! Thank you.
Thabkyou for this. Have never seen most of these paintings so it is very worthwhile for you to have posted this. Glad you say you have put in all the paintings in the show.
Another great post. Amazing and beautiful exhibition. Thank you for posting all the work from the exhibition. Being in the US I won’t be able to see it in person. BTW you have the best hat collection.
Amazing thank you! We're in Canada so will not be able to see the show. We'll be watching this video a few times. Happy 200th to the National! What an amazing gallery. Thank you for your great vlog. Your comments on the shows are really appreciated (don't fully understand the modern stuff, but your helping me!)🥰
I am going in a few weeks and can't wait! Thank you for the guided tour. It really does give insight and brings out the highlights. I have an early afternoon slot during the week, so hope it won't be too crowded. I've been to the Van Gogh museum in Amsterdam, but this collection draws from museums the world over, so there will definitely be some surprises. Love your vlog!
I went last week I completely agree it really is a once in a lifetime exhibition. Will be going back. On a practical note because the pictures are in large rooms I found no difficulty in seeing them.
I agree and those large rooms have seen three epic shows - Raphael, Hals and then this. They are perfect. I am a bit nervous for the return to the Sainsbury Wing but let's hope it has been redesigned well.
A privilege to see the exhibit in person; but, Van Gogh's work has been reproduced ad nauseum--calendars, notebooks, prints, plates, napkins, t-shirts, etc, etc: thus, in many ways, its magic has been destroyed.
He is definitely over reproduced commercially (don't get me started on the immersive experiences!) BUT, unlike some artists I can mention, not over exposed in London in terms of original works so it was a treat. Also, what I loved about this show was the unexpected/ rarely seen works that are not on T Shits, note books etc. Thank you for watching and taking the time to comment.
I decided to skip to your summary as I am going in 2 weeks (and have given myself plenty of time). I like that the curational descriptions seem to be kept to a minimum, relying on quotes on the walls.
Thank you, thank you, thank you, for showing us this exhibition in your vlog.

TFS! Great tour for those of us that can’t get there. Much appreciated

Thank you so much from Melbourne Australia 🇦🇺 being so far away from Europe we are less likely to see shows like this . To pricey a insurance

Every time I get the chance to see Van Gogh paintings in real life it is a magical experience.
Looking forward to some artist interviews; Who knows, maybe you will discover someone.

Good idea - I very much hope you enjoy.
Glossy pages of a magazine.
They are glossy on the notebooks in the gift shop but not on canvas!!
It would be better to see the pictures in their frames.
