Living Off-Grid in a Self-Built Cabin & Farming Tons of Food on the Land

THIS IS WHAT OFF GRID LIVING IS REALLY LIKE!
Two thumbs up for a great video Ekow. Thanks for coming by our eco-friendly, off-grid, self-sufficient, sustainable community in Somanya. You're always welcomed.
Mr Eric please 🙏🏽 have a question for your gentleman that is doing the farming. I believe there is a fruit bats 🦇 also likes and some people who have build home ghana planted them very close to the house hence get a lot of them surround or living in them. There dropping case damage to the paint of the house and other things. Will your gentleman put that into consideration to not build such fruits or plant so close the the home?
@@ellaarmstrong2704 It's up to each homeowner to determine whether they want fruit trees planted on their property. But, we are an eco-friendly community that values nature and that also include bats. Bats are very beneficial to the environment as they do an excellent job pollinating plants, eating insects such as mosquitos, midges and gnats. Also, their droppings act as excellent natural fertilizer.
Bats are also food for some locals. In fact, they are eaten most part of the world.
Eric is such a humble man, love the great work that he's doing for our african brothers ❤
Mr. Eric is really doing a good job 😊😊
The guy is great. He quit American life style and making it in Ghana remotely. Nice ❤🙏🏿
This is shaping up to be an amazing community
Eric is one honest man, he is doing great things and giving back to Ghana, no one can complain that he is taking and not giving anything back
Thank you. Yes, it's about giving more than you take. 🙏
@@EricIsFree Well "Honestly" tell us all what happened to Brandon???
@@dandiablo3809Brandon has his own / another channel promoting eco buildings

Ekow this was a good tour!
I hope they put his name on the damn. This is what we should be doing all over africa like we did hundreds of years ago. This is how we got the sahara habitable. Great vid echo!

Wow...big projects.
Very big.
Great video! It's amazing what you can accomplish when you put your mind to it. "With God all things are possible." Eric, is doing a fantastic job. My prayers are with him. May God Almighty be a fence around him. May he live to see all what he envision materialized.
They have done so well with keeping a lot of the native trees.
Aquaponic🤔🤔Eric is doing a great job!! Thank Ekow, for your contribution to diaspora and Ghana

The finished project will be the result of good old hard work, staying focused, and great planning. This detailed tour was excellent. 👌 Thank you Eric & Ekow for this awesome update.

Am very glad that you visited migrating culture crossing (Eric).
it is an awesome project by all standard
Love aquaponics and I ve a mini one in my living room for years
Eric, add an educational centre on the property for teaching and training.
It' being planned. I briefly spoke about this toward the end of the video. We intend to be a place where people can travel from all around the world and learn to develop their own sustainable communities using best practices that we've learned about.
That will be awesome.
Very inspiration 🙌 👏 🙏
That's awesome bro ❤
🎉🎉🎉 wow, outstanding development.
To Eric. Beautiful work Brother. I understand you still have heavy equipment going back and forth but please consider paving the community roads ASAP. It will give your project a finished look that will attract even more investors and buyers.
Thanks, but no thanks. That's a sure fire way of going broke my friend, unless you're one of the very large real estate developers.
@@EricIsFree I see. Perhaps in small segments over time.
Awsome idea! 👍
Great video, Bro. Love the long format! Well done. 👏🏽

Wow, wonderful don’t forget get some Jamaican West Indies mangoes
Bro, we've got our own tasty organic mangoes.
Why will we want anything else?
You can say that because you have never tasted Jamaican mangoes, especially the one call West Indian and Julie and blackie, any day you taste these mango from Jamaica you will never eat any other mango, and this is not a joke
Visit the different projects by Africa Americans in the different regions in Ghana.
if i get the hints i will definitely check all of them out

Ekow, you got his name wrong in your introduction.

Eric, would you be selling some seedlings
Yes, we will be.
@@emcneal1968 Great!
@@emcneal1968 is your site before Somanya township or the road towards Akosombo
@@gb6041 We're located near the Yilo Krobo Municipal Assembly in Somanya.
@@EricIsFree Got you, I'll find you later. Thanks a lot
Did I miss the prices of each property? where can we find this out please?
Please visit our website listed in the description.
$1k to purchase and install one AC?😂😅
We provide free connections so each homebuyer is free to purchase and install their own AC. But I understand you're searching hard for something negative to point out.
@@EricIsFree We searching hard for some info on Brandon chale!!!
@@EricIsFree Good point! I'd encourage your customers to opt for recommended AC fitters who charge reasonable prices. Love your concept and your house prices, by the way. Just not a fan of the AC deal.
@@kelugu3776 Perhaps you don't realize how ridiculous your comment sounds, but good day. 🤦♂
@@EricIsFree I take back what I said about your houses being reasonably priced. The developer at Pokuase Heights, which is 40 minutes from Accra, at most, is selling well built two bed, one bath semis, with a similar size front and back garden for $55k.
OBRONI IS WHITEMEN NOR BLACK MEN,OR BLACK PERSON,SO WHO IS NOBODY IN GHANA TALKING ABOUT IT AND CALLING EVERY BLACK PERSON OBRONI
My friend, those of us who live here know exactly what obruni means and whether you are white or black you are referred to as obruni based on your accent or appearance.
What are u fussing about now????? And no one can understand a word u have typed because u are so angry at yourself! Speak English!
