The problem here is that in many parts of Africa not just Ghana The Chiefs / stools take land away from the families and sell it for their own gains and profit and the families lose because in Africa there are no documentation land is transferred by word of mouth through the elders nothing is written and so the government and/or stools meaning the Chiefs will take such land and sell it for profit and gain and the family gain nothing they lose this is where the conflict is coming from. The families want and rightfully deserve payment of their land. Give those people their money there is no free land

Great job on the chief because he wasted no time in getting the police (and other top people) involved. My suggestion for my friends in the PAV is to consider installing CCTV cameras on all homes...even if thieves find a way to disable one, they may be caught on camera by other nearby homes. I saw one instance where a camera was installed on an electric pole...

Most of the residents of the Pan African village being from Europe, US and other countries, know that security and other services in the municipalities they came from are paid for with property taxes, or in few cases, by homeowners' association (HOA) fees.. If they are not already paying property taxes on their properties, or do not have a HOA, they should either go to the chief and make a proposal for him to start charging them property taxes to fund such needs, or they can set up an HOA and employ round the clock security to patrol the village. Another option would be for them to go to the Ghana Police Service (GPS), and pay for round the clock protection for their village. They should not expect that the chief will come up with the funds to provide security for the village,, or that the GPS will treat them differently. There is crime everywhere, and towns and localities in the US and elsewhere address this using the property taxes they collect from residents.

There’s so much land in Ghana and Africa overall for Black Africans around the world to settle on. India and China have about the same population as Africans but far less land.
I’ve read some very ignorant statements on this video threads. Let me give you some historical facts. These African Americans being given land in Ghana have as much say to the land as much as the local Ghanaians. You know why? If it’s wasn’t for some diabolical acts by Europeans called Transatlantic Slave Trade, aided and abetted by some of our common ancestors, these African Americans would be living right next to their local Ghanaian relatives. African Americans are entitled to the land of Africa, especially West Africa because they’re descendants of Africans taken during the slave trade…they don’t even have to beg for the land. It’s their birthright.
I commend the Asebu chief for knowing the history and doing the right thing by giving free land to relatives wanting to come back home.
Finally, any local Ghanaian who has any issue with the free land should go and take a DNA test and it would tell them about a relative of theirs in the Caribbean, South America, the US or Canada that they don’t know. Meaning, had their common ancestor not been born, there would no them or the person outside Africa. Think about it!
