This is wonderful! I've seen pictures and videos of my Mom's house throughout the entire process of being built and finished. However, this interview TRULY shows the appreciation for her beautiful home. I love how you mentioned that we, her family, if we don't have a place to stay, that we could sleep in the kitchen! 😂 but it is true. We are making plans now to come and fill up her home with her grandchildren 🙌🏽❤️
Wow your true African love from Ghana
I am so excited knowing you all will be here! 😘
It is well laid out. It is beautiful.
Very very beautiful congratulations 🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉
Denise was bugging her mum during the interview… 😂😂
Ghana Loves You All
I am so very happy for this woman for moving out of America to live in her ancestral land where she is valued and seen for👍 who she really is. God bless her and her family. Akwaaba to her and her entire family
Not every black person originated in Africa. Upto 8000 years ago, the whole earth was melanated. White people are less than 10,000 years old. They have no culture, so they colonized, massacred l, raped to create new races like Mexicans, and took over lands like United States, canada, Australia Most native Americans are actually Black.
This was emotional especially when she said the Most High snatched her up and placed her where she is. Auntie is absolutely beautiful. Lord I know that calling so well. Thank you Ekow.
Madaase! It's a wonderful and humbling experience, as I'm sure you know...
@@kareninghanaplease is me daase or me da wa se lots of love
Yeah! Ghana is the place to be….. see you soon my sister……I’ll be moving soon
so excited you are coming to stay! See you soon!😄
I am also laughing because I did not think you would keep my phone call interruption in the interview, but I'm glad you did! 😅
LOL I told him you said keep it in and he did :)
@@kareninghana I'm grateful ❤️😁
Big up to Mama for your lovely home in Asebu in Ghana.
Africans wherever we are come home, because you are missing a lot.
Africans come home.
Love to see my African Americans brothers and sisters coming back home. It’s such a great joy to see them. I’m a Ghanaian and I have seen a lot of my brothers settling. Come home and get what belongs to you. Africa is our homeland.
YES, IT IS!
Ase o Ase, I totally agree.
I have 9 grandchildren and 1 great grand child. I pray one day they will come after I have my home!
❤❤
My children are still young. Well young adults. 20 something’s. I pray when I make that move they will follow too. I think they will as long as they having married yet. Because a spouse will keep them here.
@@zeeqq105 Good luck , only two are coming with me just to check things out they are not yet convinced this is the right move. I pray they change their minds
This house would have cost a fortune in the States.
Oh wow that is what I heard too.
@Willie Teb, you are right about the cost in the USA.

I'm happy to see this project, unfortunately when ASEBU land offer lot of Diasporas haven't been to Ghana or AFRICAN before said it's scammed, now I want to see those people comments again, shameful you are.
Some people did have problems. I pray that won't stop them from following their dreams.
Doing it up right.✊🏾 Aloha from 🇺🇸✈️, from the U.S and my home in The Gambia. Will visit Ghana 🇬🇭 soon. Leah Tunkara
Please look me up if you are in Cape Coast!
wow she is so kind 🎉🎉 the house is gorgeous ❤
Madaase!
Wow!!! Karen your home is so nice and inspirational!! congrats!!
❤❤
Let us do everything for our brothers and sisters to stay permanently when they come home as we express joyous Akwaaba. They often go back after sometime which is not good. Let encourage them to be mindful of their spending so that they can stay.
I’m curious about your comment. Why are they returning home?

Oh my goodness she has a lovely home
Medaase!
Absolutely amazing!
Very honest estimate for the price of the building which will help other diasporans including Ghana citizens living abroad, some of them has the money but scare to do it because they thought the property will cost more than their bank account.
I agree it is scary - it was for me. I took chances in having my home built. I stepped out in faith as I saw others doing it. I then relied on my faith in the Most High and His leading me here. Do you homework before coming - materials are increasing just as high prices are hitting the west.
Really nice house Aunty I'm sure you are enjoying your fruits of your labour wish you all the best.

Ekow ! I know this sister participated in one of the Asebu naming ceremony
Wow, is this lovely woman a distant relative. My maternal grandfather's sir name was King, and he lived in N. C.
Right
I don't think so. My former husband's name is King and he was from VA.
Ekow thanks for sharing this wonderful home and her story. I’m happy for her and her family. It’s truly a blessing to see people accomplish their goals. I am somewhat sceptic though as I just saw a video where people tore down a returning person’s home. How can we trust the process when these things happen without consequences?
I understand your concern. Unfortunate things happen everywhere. Trust your heart and step out if you feel led.
Also explain and emphasise the huge differences in costs of building and maintaining houses like this in African countries and USA. In most African countries there are very few financial and regulatory hindrances (it is very cheap) - the only issue is bureaucracy in government agencies. This house cost utmost $80,000 - having started with $60,000. Annual rates and other local government fees can easily be covered from AnB arrangements. No harassment from IRS type institutions
So true, Ernest. I never would have been able to do this in America - pay as I go. It amazed me that I would gather that much money without borrowing!
@@kareninghanahow long did you take to finish the house.
Beautiful home. Well done. That's the spirit. Stay safe.

The massage chair could be a 110VAC/120VAC. It will get damaged if plugged into a 220VAC outlet. She should get a professional electrician to trouble shoot it.
I did and learned that the motor is shot. I think someone plugged it in while I was in the states. It arrived before I returned and there was someone here to receive it. That is the only thing I think could have happened because it was sitting up straight when I shipped it... :(
@@kareninghana , Yes, the motor will burn if plugged into a 220 Volts outlet. It can be fixed.

If people could buy land without being scammed it would be great. Ghana really need to fix this
I agree! There are some horror stories. Fortunately, the better ones outweigh the negative.
Wow I love your home and the quality of the build.
Who was your builder?
Traveling Israelite is his YT channel, Miykaal Murray.
The home looks lovely beautiful and luxury, but can't help to notice the USUAL, the roads.
When they're building homes for sale, they first must build the roads and traffic lights, ya see beautiful homes, houses but the roads, when its raining season wahala, when its dry season a white house becomes a brown dust house.
❤di house 9s1.
So true. Something we really need to focus on.
Roads and street lights means TAXES. You don't want to pay property taxes
