Thank you so much for making this video. I bought a 2015 GT with a bunch of aftermarket parts on it and this nGauge was sitting in the console. The unplugged wire poking through eh corner of the dash dash and other end plugged into the OBD. Hooking it up through the vent this weekend. Yay!
Thanks a lot for making this video. It really helped me sort things out, because I wasn't about to use a windshield holder etc. to mount my NGauge. All went fine despite all the bad noise that comes with pulling off trim panels. A plastic spatula helped there. I also found I didn't need to mess with the driver's side panels. With some coaxing, the OBDII connecter just dropped down right where it needed to be. Which was really good, because those screws were pretty welded in place at the factory. Thanks again!
@@MustangLifestyleTV hey man I was hoping you could help me out. I'm about to purchase a mustang in about a month, but I want to start getting a few mods now so they'll be waiting for the stang to come. One of my first mods will be exhaust upgrade, and I was thinking of investing in a tuner, at what point should I be investing in a tuner, or am I on the right path of getting a tuner along with the exhaust? Hopefully you can shed some knowledge on me.
The part where you fish the wire under the first clip and over the second clip in the compartment between the steering wheel and center console, what is in that compartment? I was hearing a rattle and pushed on the plastic and started to hear what sounded like a fan running. Just wondering if you knew from taking it apart, thanks!
Thanks for the how to video, really appreciate it. I'm going to head to the local hardware store, pick up a few things, and make sure to get some double sided adhesive and get started on this. Hopefully I don't break any clips :)
Nice vid. Issue with mine is I have the two vents and two gauges in my dash. I think it will look funny if I put the Ngauge in one of those vents. I wonder if I can put my boost gauge and oil pressure gauge in the auto meter A pillar dual pods and then get the 3 bent set up and use the middle vent. Think that would work maybe?
Yeah. I really didn't notice a difference with just the exhaust, but once we did the VMP tune, it was life changing, seriously. It gave me a totally different driving experience. I now currently have just gotten a GT 350 cold air intake which gained 15 peak hp, and a new tune to go with it, so I would also recomend that as well.
So I've noticed a ton of condensation on my dash after doing this is their a product that you are aware of that caps the vent? It can't be good for the n gauge to be getting wet.
Is this the lund tunes ngauge? If so do they have free tunes for life like bama? If so I may switch... looks much better than sticking an sct tuner to my windshield.
This is the HP Tuners nGauge. The tune is from VMP Performance. VMP offers free tune updates when you purchase new modifications from them. Give VMP a call at 321-206-9369 and tell them Mustang Lifestyle sent you.
Thank you so much! My brother broke an ac vent and wanted ford to fix it. Thanks to you, I did it my self!
I know this video is 4 years old but still want to say thanks. This is exactly what I was looking for to replace a broken vent in my 16 GT.

Awesome! Glad it worked out for you!
Good video, pretty straight forward and definitely helped when I installed mine.
Awesome, cool! -Ash
What a clean install!
I am buying a Eboost2 and not sure what to get the 60 mm or 66 mm. Any idea if 66 mm will fit in the vent?
How do i get the ghost cam tune
Lund offers ghost cam tune
Mustang Lifestyle ohh ok thanks
How do i search for that tune?

STANGaNATI you don’t need a tune for anything except a cold air intake.

stcgolfer1 seemed to me like it was for sync given the vent

Does your Ngauge show actual Oil Pressure PSI for the base model ?
Did anyone get dash rattles after pulling off the trim and putting it back?

streetstunna600 I would go with an Nguage suction cup mount before doing that
May I know where you got your dash pad? It looks so good.
I meant the dash trim, couldn't find it anywhere online.
Hey Chris, that's the stock GT dash trim
at the time of this video, my car is the same. did you notice a decent gain? xpipe muffler deletes. stock air box? correct. ..

+Ash Carlton thanks..
When you took your dash pieces off, they look like carbon fiber. Was that stock or a vinyl applique?
Stock
great job very well explain

chester82gtstang it's trashed mine. No longer works!😢
Could put a suction cup type boot behind the nguage and just cut a small hole to run the wire. That's the only thing I can think of
@@avguylyfe5837 shove a towel in the vent. it won't hurt it.
Thanks bro, took less than 30 min

1234zcrom also, other companies besides vmp offer this service now...
Where did y’all buy the HP tuners ngauge?
Ferraro Speed
I'm sure you neighbors love you with your unnecessarily loud exhaust pipes. You are not fooling anyone with those pipes.
What is the dimensions on the engage?
It is exactly the same size as the a/c vents. It is made to replace them.
what exhaust have u got
Muffler delete and X-pipe with stock cats
Touch tender hand? Had to move to another video
WOOT WOOT!!!!!
Nice!
I am sorry for the S550 these companies are price gauging. These units are not worth those prices.
Iv seen a much easier video before this
