I didn't realize the premium has a different rear. Good to know. I have a premium but thought it was only different on the interior. Hey thanks for all your great instructional vids btw. I reference them for all my installs.

+Inachu Ikimasho no, 401A equipment package is the subwoofer.
You can have a premium, without a woofer in the back.
+Sahadi420 This. I have the Shaker audio, but because mine didn't come with the 401a equipment group the subwoofer was not included. I was a little confused at first because I thought all Shakers came with the subwoofer. Then I looked at the window sticker and saw my had the 400 equipment package.

Rear valence looks really cool and the system sounds pretty good. I'm not to sure how I feel about the 4 exhaust pipes just hanging out in the "tips," looks kinda ghetto.

+Smokkedandslammed you can always cut the actual exhaust flush to the tips so they are less noticeable at least that's what I would do
+Greg Hawking idk if you watch again it was a pretty big opening on the back, if you cut it too much you'd probably catch a weird noise from the exhaust reflecting off the tip.
Great system. Was impossible to get the mufflers aligned perfectly however. Took to a muffler shop. They had to cut and weld the muffler hangers.

Hi Bill i just ordered this from you guys. Will you be keeping this kit on your car this time around or you prefer the Borla S type? What are your thoughts of the gt350 honeycomb texture being different than the OEM texture on the side sills and front bumper? It does look awesome and sounds great.

I thought premium package comes with 4 sensors at the back, would that be a problem ?...just purchased it and shipped to Dubai, quick and easy , lets hope for the best during installation.

I am considering a Mustang GT for my next car. Because these are Ford Performance parts, would my local Ford dealer be able to install? And do these count as "aftermarket" even though it is Ford? My previous car had an aftermarket cat-back exhaust and a cop asked me to remove it via fix it ticket (was pulled over for a license plate light being out). Ever since then, I've just been really turned off from doing car mods to a daily driver. Thanks =)

If anyone wants just the valance, Anderson composites makes a carbon fiber, and fiber glass version. And the best part is no pre installed tips!
Huh, I have the Roush quad tips with the replacement valance and this looks way cooler.
I have a Ford Racing by Borla Sport Catback Exhaust currently on my Mustang GT 16'. You mentioned that If I have an existing catback from ford racing, then I can simply buy the axle back quad tip conversion and don't need to replace the entire catback. Could you send me the link to the conversion you're talking about please?
How would you describe the quad tip sounds different than the duals? More raspy, airy, throaty, metallic?

Could you in theory turn around and use aftermarket GT350 axlebacks on a setup like this to play nice with the prefabbed exhaust outlets? Or are the mufflers entirely different?

Be nice if they just sold the valence alone. esp if you wanna use another 2-1/2" Quad Tip Cat-Back Exhaust system to your liking. I know they want to stick with there roots cause its Fords thing with the GT350 and sell the whole kit makes sense, but imo id love for the option for it to come alone.
+Chris Dzierz88 It may happen in the future but since the tips are part of the valance it is designed to work only with the FRPP exhaust for now.
Ford does sell the valence now but I think its like $2,500. Complete rip off

Hi Bill, great video. I was wondering what the sound difference is between the sport and the touring exhaust sounds. Is there another exhaust I can compare it to or will you have a video up and coming for the touring exhaust ? Just want to be sure before ordering it.
+Ron Smith We have videos of both the sport and touring single tip cat backs you can use as comparison. The tone is very similar, the sport is just louder. I had the touring on my car for a few weeks before I went with the Borla S type. The touring was just too quiet

Hi Bill, I currently have the Ford Racing Sport Exhaust with SW Long Tube Headers. I found it to be too loud so I added the Borla Resonator. I wonder if this new GT350 muffler sounds a little lower than the regular Sport exhaust even though they are both same mufflers?

is there a certain reason you machine tightened softly then hand tightened? Just so I make sure I do it right
Just a better feel on how tight they are, many manufacturers recommend not using impacts on clamps.

I think it would be fine. It will be a little louder with the top down but not much more than the windows down on a fastback.

Hey Bill, is it possible to install with a H-pipe delete and the axle back version of this exhaust. If so, would it give a good sound as the Roush axle backs with the Hpipe delete?
Yes you could buy the axle back version and install an H pipe resonator delete. I have not heard this setup but I am sure it sounds good but will not be as loud as the Roush.

What's the main reason it can't be installed in a non premium GT?
+William M. honestly it can but it would take a huge amount of work and cutting, with the premium they already have the 2 piece bumper so you can just cut off the one piece holding the 2 pieces together and install without having to modify the whole bumper cover. it can be done just not easy, just like the roush quad tip valance.
If I were to buy a Borla ATAK catback exhaust could I buy the quad tip axle back Borla Sports and fit those on?

It is the factory decklid from an ecoboost Mustang with the 50th Anniversary package. They are not available anywhere that I am aware of.

+Brian Knox Yes that was with the supercharger on it. Only ran a 1.78 60 foot on that pass, went 1.64 the next pass and clutch protection kicked in. It would go 10's for sure with a few more passes but I didn't build it to race it.

+Brian Knox I participate in Rally North America road rally events that include a lot of driving but some track time as well. If it breaks it just means it was meant to be upgraded :) Just didn't plan on drag racing this car because I get too competitive and then it has to go faster and faster lol
