While I agree that an open world, interactive game, does need more character development, even between the crew. The game does a lot right. The casual interactions and life like world is pretty awesome. Hardly any of it feels out of place, or some weirdly out of place NPC, doing NPC things. Like every piece was put there with meaning, and depth building. Not just a rinse and repeated texture and animations.
They have something familiar about the protagonist's face I've just realized, remove the hair and colour her grey and she looks just like the alien Paul from the movie Paul
I have zero interest in playing as Kay - she looks like an REO Speedwagon roadie, not to mention she looks about 15 years old and as much an Outlaw as a Girl Guide.
Sorry the "gold standard" by FAR, is Starwars Battlefront 2015 and you know it. You know? The game that everyone "hated" enough for it to get a sequel that they suddenly "liked?" That game had photogrammetry scans of props sets from the movies, sound effects etc all taken right from the source.
Nix is excellent and there are moments when you are climbing in the open world and you will see Nix climbing across the top of climbing paths or even check stuff out on the ground as you travel.

Was this video review messed up in the edit. Between the abrupt opening and the amount of repeated points this feels like a rough and fine cut got mushed together
Finally a game media that says it aloud. Thanks for the review.
So, can we conclude that Ubisoft is still Ubisoft, make it over promise and under deliver?
Cant believe we got this over 1313
I like this game. Its the closest thing there is to a new uncharted
so , basically Jedi fallen order is still the best
Casual. Go play republic commando
Except force unleashed is better
@@joeygang4136story and style yes gameplay ehhhh
@@nestormelendez9005 at least Starkillers lightsaber isn't a bat.
@@joeygang4136 that depends on the difficulty
If we get more Star Wars games in the future, can we please choose our gender AND species? There are so many humanoid aliens in this lore that speak English…why do we always have to be human?
Why do we have to be a female more too the question
@@marmite1064 Why did we have to be a man in the "Jedi" games... I agree though we should be able to play different races
Right it's 2024 being able to pick your gender should be mandatory for every game at this point
@@DREADEYE_KNIGHT Agreed, unless it's a well established character like Geralt of Rivia or Lara Croft
You KNOW if anyone said this when the protagonist was male you'd be in the comments complaining😂.
For me, the game is great! Its not for everyone, and it's by no means perfect, but if youre like me and have been waiting for this game for literally over 10 years... I'd encourage you to try it!
The game is not great because you think so. Its a pos and flopped for a reason. Have some self-resoect and standard
@@TurdFerguson-td9nxwhy you gotta bring someone else down for their opinion?
They should have done a Rick and Morty and when she finally get her team together leave them and say she just needed them for the cool entrance scene
Everyone bashing this game but they give copy paste annual souls games high praises. Gamers are a joke.
That is fair for sure but still does not change this game being an adverage open world.
Raging about evil gamers won’t make this game any better
Behold, the age of (barely) lukewarm games with lukewarm gameplay and lukewarm story lines.
would’ve loved a Han Solo outlaw video game (maybe a non-canon retcon of Solo) but this seems mid. I’ll buy it when it’s on sale.
DLC should focus on evolving the space and outlaw mechanics? Could be an all time great but don’t hold my beer.
I'll rent it, once it gets a few patches.
They have something familiar about the protagonist's face I've just realized, remove the hair and colour her grey and she looks just like the alien Paul from the movie Paul
Played on: Xbox Series X
*All gameplay footage has PS menus
I think I'm going back to jedi survivor 😢
I'll buy this cheap for sure... Well maybe
'WorthABuy' for a truthful review...
I have zero interest in playing as Kay - she looks like an REO Speedwagon roadie, not to mention she looks about 15 years old and as much an Outlaw as a Girl Guide.
She looks like Matt Damon from Team America😂😂😂
@@TurdFerguson-td9nx MAAAAAAT DAAAAMON
I actually really liked this game. I think you guys should wait for a sale though if you’re as serious Star Wars fan this isn’t bad :)
They should probably go ahead and put it on steam if it is a 6/10. Do they want to sell it or naw?
Maybe dont cover the final score with links to your other videos.
Another AAAA title from ubisoft
Sorry the "gold standard" by FAR, is Starwars Battlefront 2015 and you know it. You know? The game that everyone "hated" enough for it to get a sequel that they suddenly "liked?" That game had photogrammetry scans of props sets from the movies, sound effects etc all taken right from the source.
Will pick it up when it's part of a Ubisoft Humble Bundle deal
I'll check it out when it is under 20 in a sale
When the Star Wars Bounty Hunter remaster is better than a "AAAA" company's $70 flop....
Nix is excellent and there are moments when you are climbing in the open world and you will see Nix climbing across the top of climbing paths or even check stuff out on the ground as you travel.
still waiting for the real review for sins of a solar empire 2
once again gamespot review spoils the plot of the game i the first 2 minutes of the review
😂 this was so very obviously going to be bland the moment it was announced
Don't most AI (especially in stealth games) have a set path to walk?
Faaaar better review than IGN’s. Sounds truly honest
Im looking forward to this game. A 7 game is fine by me, as long as theres fun to be had and its not a complete shitshow. Not every game needs to be a god of war or elden rings. Ill happily enjoy this game
Definitely getting this $20 and below
Got that Cyberpunk Tomb raider Assassin's Creed mirage soundtrack Uncharted vibe 😅Love ❣️ It lol 😂
Why do they cover the review score with ads?
When does it go on sale?
Not soon enough
Waitng for the $20 sale with dlc
You guys literally take the IGN score, and subtract one every time.
All the reviews I've seen tell me it's a bad game while showing me why it could be a good game. Conflicted but I'll play it eventually
I won't play it. With all the controversy and bans I am hearing about, I hope this game Concord's itself.
I'll consider buying this AC reskin when it's 20 dollars
I’ll buy that for a dollar
I think it's brilliant. Loved every minute of it so far.
you must think concord is game of the year then 🤣🤣
Yea, you look like you'll enjoy this.
@YumariYatasuka Never played Concord so I can't comment.
@@LinkLegend0 I very much do :)
How are you playing the game already? It doesn’t release till the 30th (Friday).
I want a bounty hunter game
Got it for $19, played it just now, worth it tbh.
Got it for $0, played it just now, worth it tbh. Sailed the seven seas
Watched someone play it for $0 who got it for $10. Worth it tbh
Price is irrelevant, its either a good game or it isnt.
