People are just trashing it because it's cool to do so. It's a great game so far. My only complaint is Kay's face is very lifeless and often doesn't match the words she's saying
I agree. I’m not even that big a Star Wars fan but the game made me want to watch the movies again. It’s a great game with a good story and great gameplay and engaging open world. I don’t get it. When games are games, people complain the immersion is broken. When they are too realistic, people say they should be more like games.
I love the way skills are unlocked in this game: you unlock them by playing the game, doing challenges, or taking actions you didn't know you could do (like using Nix to distract a security camera... I didn't know you could do that until I saw the skill prompt).
All that hate was just weird it’s actually a great game I love that we get to experience the world as a scoundrel instead of a Jedi for once…. It was immersive when it came to all the mini games, exploring the world, the stealth, riding the speeder bike around, and even the combat was enjoyable… still haven’t finished because I been busy doing side missions before I get to point of no return
Ive been playing the heck out of this game! I've been enjoying just riding around and finding things. It really makes you feel like you are a part of the Star Wars Universe!
Iwhole heartedly agree with this comment I’ve been scanning the map doing events n find treasure lol they shoulda incorporated this in on Jedi survivor from an open world perspective
Don't get why people jump on the train to dunk on the game. I got it on ubiplus and it's fine for me. Reminds me of uncharted so can't complain. People need to get a grip and make there own opinion these days 😂
i know right? seems like a fun open world game in star wars universe. not every game need to be a masterpiece. sometimes i just wanna ride some speeder bikes and shoot some stormtroopers.
@erkki542 I'm about 12 hours in and still chilling on Toshara the first main planet! Genuinely a decent game! Way better than the yearly cod copy and paste and fortnite 😅
@erkki542 nice one! I've not came across any bugs so far. It's the same with Avatar again everyone shat on it and it was literally one of the best games I've played! For me I get it ubi can be annoying but who isn't these days! R6, xdefiant (still 100% better than cod even with the cheaters 🤣) and avatar! Those are some of my favourite games only other games I'd consider my favourite would be mad max, valheim and grounded.
I immediately sided with crimson dawn from start, very first chance. It was the best idea for anyone trying to get the rewards "easily"/"asap". It took like a couple hours as far as I noticed from starting the save file. I've been running around with the excellent reward set crimson dawn attire the entire gameplay so far. Trying to get other stealth gear now. By the time I got a 4th faction I was able to balance the rep down to good across the board in less than a day's session just messing around and completing missions. It's easy if you're focused
That intel thing is a bit broken. You can get intel on items you already found and Kay can't remember it until you walk up to the chest you already opened.
Plus you saying to get all your reps in the blue, the example scene would lower your ashiga and raise your pyke rep. If you kept doing that you'd remain barely good with anyone never earning the Special gear rewards. Most mission based decisions are a trade off with rep status. Why lower an excellent rep on one to good to raise a bad to good? Whats the payoff. Just stay out of the bad rep areas until you've gained the rewards from the others. Unless you don't mind sneaking, which i don't
I've always wanted to play a true open world Star Wars game, Outlaws is great. I hope the hate doesn't put off other developers from creating more open world Star Wars games. So what it's not about Jedi's and lightsabers, my favourite characters in Star Wars are Boba Fett and Han Solo and this game is perfect for me
I do like the GTA wanted system in the game. It makes things a little crazy when you are deep in a base but if you just find a vent and hide for a bit the search will get called off.
I think this game is great. I've been waiting for a non Jedi Star wars game since knights of the Old Republic back in 2004 2003 I think it was. The only thing that I think is kind of weird is that you can turn an imperial base into a ghost town. I feel like the empire would never stop coming regardless. And I don't know if everybody knows this but me but you can transmogrify your clothing sort of like in Diablo. I like to use the imperial disguise and I make it look like the default clothes.
So how far did your reviewers get before they realized they learned nothing about this game? Literally everything in this video is explained as you play or via tutorials.
Love this game my only complaint is they need to make it 4K because ubisoft has no issue making every one of their games 4K and 60 frames, why not this one too? Resolution could be higher.
One of the big things that made Outlaws a little sour for me was not being able to keep or modify other blasters, and not being able to fire from your bike. Imagine RDR2 without being able to shoot from your horse, or that you only got to use other weapons briefly before being forced back to your Cattleman Revolver. It's not a bad game, it's just hard to overlook and ignore those things.
I think Disney Star Wars has made some bad choices in their shows & movies, but this game is a lot of fun and is really well done. Reminiscent but not too similar to Jedi Fallen Order
I want to use leftie 2 controller mode for the space travelling, but the game doesnt allows me to set that only for the spaceship or edit button mapping, so im constantly changing between controller modes and is excruciating
Mmm I agree, thought the same thing I just feel like if your a true star wars fan u should be happy with it! Seeing that we're playing something outside of the constant "FORCE LIGHTSABER" route type not style
I should add that you can safely get your reputation up without hurting another faction much and that's by working the Broker Delivery Errand missions from the trailblazer ready room. If you ride your speeder to a starport where the Trailblazer is not there you can approach the landing pad and press --> on the on the Dualshock pad to call it to you, And, You should see a cutscene of it arriving. You can roll by double tapping circle or B on whichever controller you use. I still have to learn to pickpocket with Kay but I'll try Triangle or Y and maybe it will work? Someone tell me..?
Recently finished the game put about 60hrs into it complete the main story and did other stuff, I enjoyed the game not as good as Jedi Survivor but for a star wars fan it's worth a look. Sure the game has issues and the eating mini game is pointless 😂 could have done with a bit more time in development not the dumpster fire people make it out to be.
@ChrisJohannsen does that make it any better lol, they still made 1/3 of people who paid 110+ dollars for early access that got nothing but corrupted saves for that money. It's an embarrassment 🤣

@@nosfarratu the worst part is that the game is actually good. Not great but really nice for people who appreciate things and can acknowledge faults without jumping to the hate bandwagon.

I’ve been playing this game for about a week. I actually like it, and the potential it has with future DLC, but I also admit that on my PS5 slim, the game crashes more than it should, and there are times when my character can get stuck in rocks / mountains. There are also some graphical glitches that pop up when flying to / from a planet. I don’t like Kay’s lifeless face, it doesn’t match the voice. And no character physical change options? That’s a real shame. But I like the game, and would rate it (for me) a 7/10.
Don't waste your money on a half finished game that needs a lot of tech and graphical improvements. Starfield with Star Wars mods provide a much better expierence.
