Good mornin' MO. That was fun, always never know... Glad you got up there in one piece, lol. You and Miss Cindy be warm, safe and content as you ride out what this winter brings. Thank you. See you next time.
Good Morning! Yeah, there was wolves there earlier in the year, but not now. Fewer coyotes and a lot more fox than I ever thought though. It's snowing here....oh boy......HA! Have a great day!
Awesome! Thanks for sharing. Love to see the wildlife. It is interesting not seeing the smaller critters like the Weasels or Pine martins. That fire did a number and it is amazing what it does to an area. Stay safe out there and keep your powder dry. From the great State of Idaho.
Thanks! It is surprising really. There was plenty of area that didn't burn, but I haven't seen any Marten tracks in 2 years now. Weasels, seem to be here, but not in big numbers either.
Good morning!happy fox.i checked mine and just saw deer, although it looks like a buck already shed one of his antlers.its cool when you get multiple species.do skunk hibernate!thanks and have a great day!
Good Morning! I love trail cameras! You can learn a LOT from them. Skunks sort of hibernate, but not really. They will hole up and sleep through the coldest parts of Winter, but they are out on warmer days.
Morning!😊 well that was Interesting just watching how long and over a span of how many days that fox revisited looking for leftovers lol. Don't blame the fox leaving the skunk alone. Heck even us apex predators have learned to be wary of that one's defenses lol.
Good Morning! It's fun to see ain't it? You can really learn a lot from these cameras. The video setting eats batteries, but I like seeing how the act. Those ribs in the tree were easy to reach, but he was very wary.....they shouldn't be in a tree and he knew it. That skunk was funny. I'm surprised to see it there also. Not many high in the mountains like that.
Does that Sasquatch have a side by side ? Nice my friend, it’s a busy place. Dang there is a Muskrat on the trail camera. Thanks for the video. Be careful out there in them there woods. 👍
Well, darn it! That's not much for critters over that amount of time. Where I live, the furbearer numbers are really dwindling. Too many people have moved in around me. That's probably going to be the new reality for a lot of us around the country. Deer hunting is still somewhat ok here. Thanks for showing us how it's going in your area.
Thanks young man :) Great pics but now we have a mystery track maker running loose lol 👍, I think the skunk wins ! sly fox but not his first rodeo lol :) Happy New Year !
The lack coyotes up there is a curious thing! The wolves don't seem to bother them much in the woods that I find both running in. Is it hunting, trapping or nature that has cut the populations down around there? Those deer scrapes would have had a pack of coyotes fed up real quick over here! :)
It is really strange. I used to get a lot of coyotes on my cameras, but not many at all now? Mostly fox. We had mange here pretty bad a few years ago, but that seems to have cleared up, maybe that knocked them back? Seems like the fox would be gone too though?
🤔 l'm beginning to think we in populated Michigan have more wildlife than out in unpopulated mountanist areas like Idaho. Maybe you should hang those cameras around the garbage dump that's where all the critters probably are for the easy pickings. Probably why populated Michigan seems to have more critters. Trash may be the key🤷 I was kinda hoping to see that trapper from out east get caught on one of those cameras
We hqve both gray and red fox where I live, but the fox at around 6 1/2 minute mark.. I've never seen one that color (sable or silver maybe?) Is that a color variation of a gray? Or possibility the lighting is strange ?
It's a red fox, but what they call a cross fox. It's not really crossed with anything, just a color phase. In this area, the cross fox seem to be the most common. Some are really pretty.
I don't know Tony. Strange thing is there doesn't seem to be hardly any coyotes up high, just fox? I very rarely get coyotes on my cameras now up there, but lots of fox? The last few years, things have sure changed around here. That skunk was a surprise that high up too.
@@MuskratOutdoors Yeah, I consider skunks to generally need humans. Plus they should be asleep. We've got lots of coyotes out here... odd on the lack of foxes down low.
I think it was the same fox. Maybe a pair. One skunk. Thought I heard one deer blow. Kind of depressing. You got more pics of people than critters. Doesn't seem to be much in that area,...imo
Love me some trail cams!! Thanks for sharing!
So do I! They really are a great tool and some of my most favorite toys!

Good Morning! Thank you! It's snowing here today......kind of wonder how the road up the mountain is now....
Good morning Gary,
Unfortunately, no Wolves.
Quite a few Fox.
Nice to watch with my morning coffee!
Have a good day my friend.

Sad to see no wolves! Nice looking fox and skunk though! Thank you for sharing my friend!
It is. I thoght for sure there would be at leat one. There was earlier in the year here.

Looks like that fox was king of the carnivores in that neighborhood!🦊 Thanks for sharing the trail cams with us!
That was a lucky Fox! Easy meal and nothing tried to take it away except that skunk!
Those ribs in the tree had him thinking real hard! Interesting watching him figure it out. Thanks for the video and have a good one!
It's fun to watch, ain't it. He knows they aren't supposed to be there, and was pretty wary of it.

HA! The one I used the last two years belongs to a friend.
Good morning muskrat and Cindy have a good day that was a busy fox looks like he was happy to get a free meal
Good Morning! Free Food! He was a happy fella!
Good morning ! Those Ravens are pretty big birds compared to an ordinary Crow.
Good Morning! They are. About double the size really.
Morning !!! That ole fox was sure helping himself !

It's really pretty depressing. Our woods are empty. There never was a huge number of anything here, but almost nothing now.
Thanks Gary. It's fun watching the critters.
Glad you enjoyed it. Too bad no wolves though....
Mornin brother have a good day👍👍
Good Morning! You too!

Hello Muskrat! Good morning to you all,, very cool footage, Have yourselves a wonderful day!
Thanks, you too!
Awesome stuff Muskrat, those fox probably thought they’d won the lottery with that pile🤣👍
Thanks! I bet so!
Good afternoon and many blessings. Looks like you made a family of foxes pretty happy. And a skunk or two. Thanks for sharing Gary.
Thanks! I think it was just one fox, two at most, but they were happy! I think that skunk kind of won though! HA!
@@MuskratOutdoors I agree. The lil stinker prevailed. LOL
Looks like a lot of people using the area, do you think that is keeping the wolves away?
It's hard to say. There was some there in September and October.
Thanks young man :) Great pics but now we have a mystery track maker running loose lol 👍, I think the skunk wins ! sly fox but not his first rodeo lol :) Happy New Year !
Thanks! I'd give the win to the skunk too!
Morning 👋🏻 That little fox 🦊 is trying hard to live. I hope that other guy leaves it alone. Have a great day ❤🙏🏻❤️
Good Morning! It sure hit the jackpot with those deer bones!

Good morning young man.
Happy Sunday morning.
Wonder what made those tracks the camera never caught.
Have a great day and Thanks
I'm guessing that fox? When the cameras get cold, they get slow. Kind of frustrating sometimes!
Foxy loved those scraps!!😂
Sure did!
Howdy y'all! How y'all doing? Was that the easterner on the 4 wheeler? I'm referring to the guy with a lack of respect.
Please explain no respect
No, that's someone else. Maybe bow hunting?

Very Happy Fox! That skunk was funny though.
Nice looking cross there
It is. We seem to have more cross than red in this area. Some are really pretty!
Texas here - what state is this in May I ask? - besides somewhere way up North??? The snow is awesome! 😳😳❤️
It's Idaho. Mid State, East side.
Good footage for sure ,I put 2 cameras out last week try to see a bobcat and some body took it I reckon thay needed it more .

A lot of people up in those mountains and with those fox around it's probably a good indicator that there's no coyotes or wolves in the area
There are. Yeah, the wolves would have found those deer scraps. They were there earlier, but not now.
@@MuskratOutdoors too bad you couldn't put a tracking collar on a wolf track it find out where they are going probably have a huge home range

😊
Good Morning Amye!
What is the deal those fox except for 1 didn't want much to do with the ribs you put in the tree and still it didn't get much
They are smart enough to know that they shouldn't be in a tree. Pretty wary of something strange like that, but hungry enough to try anyway.
@MuskratOutdoors would rather starve than get those ribs
Try spraying some wolf urine around they think someone is around not part of the pack
good morning. Those tracks might be ghost tracks?
HA! MAYBE!
