G - Do they go sproing? B - Yah, they REALLY go sproing I have no idea why, but this interaction makes me laugh so hard. It's been like 10 minutes now and I had to pause the video from laughing so much. LOVE you guys!
Ok. 1. Ben killed it with editing this episode. Kudos to you for all the goofy emotes and stuff. 2. Kingdom death monster has got to be a collectors item at this point due to how hard it is to get and how good it is, let alone a sealed copy of kingdom death monster, whoever sent you that is amazing and I envy them.
The "Tell Dale" moment had me cracking up soo much. I suspect in a future dice friends, Dale is going to add more "Tell Dale" mechanics so he can have more opportunities to roll those dices.
I'm sure someone in chat will bring it up on the next Dice Friends to include Dale, and Dale will make a note of it. Dale needs his own troop of volunteer viewer staffers... not sure what to call them/us.
16:30 Coming back here: I finally got to meet so many LRR members at MagicCon, and I’m glad to report life is very on track again and full of wonderful experiences! Very amused my frogs lived so long in your offices. I will treasure the signed playmat, and I hope you guys have a good time in Vegas ^^
Kingdom Death: Monster looks absolutely astonishing on so many levels. I wouldn't doubt it if this isn't really a possibility, but I would love to see a stream of some LRRfolk playing it. Good lord. Mature content indeed.
Here in the UK we have our PO boxes handled by Royal Mail, but if any package is larger than a certain (relatively small) volume they hand it off to ParcelForce for delivery instead... who do not deliver to PO boxes. Since they don't run that check until the end of delivery however you can frequently get big packages just held at the nearest depot to the destination and if you're lucky they'll send you a note to let you know before they return to sender. It is quite frustrating.
Google-translated cards need to have their own separate show. I don't know how many times I'd watched the Desert Bus Rosewatta bits literally crying with laughter.
Now you can't convince me that those weren't tiny dehydrated people fleeing from Vanuatu via mail. xD. They might come in useful in an eventual Crapshot or maybe in a boardgame(?) OMG I the knitted Cthullu is super cute! And with all the Omen tarot cards, it would be fun to see people from LRR as the major arcana (or maybe use recurring characters instead).
Ahh I’m so happy you guys received my package! I hope you all enjoy(ed) the snacks! My suite mate just witnessed me grinning stupidly throughout the entirety of you opening my package.
I was waiting for you to pick up my parcel and I'M SO SORRY IT'S REALLY HEAVY. Also wow you struggled with it, I'm still sorry. It's also Kassy, but I was laughing a lot so it's okay.
Huh, so I'm not the only one who thought to send them KD:M, Though I did ask first, and just had them use it as a desert bus prize when I heard they already had one. I need to get to painting my own copy here someday...
Please play Kingdom Death! Its one of my favorite games and would love to see a dedicated group of you wonderful people play a campaign like you did for Risk Legacy. Oh my God, Cam has so many things to paint now!
I sent the brick of Juhla Mokka ("Celebration Mocha") coffee (non-instant) and the Fazer (not pronounced like the guns in Star Trek, though I'm not sure how to write the correct pronounciation. Help?) sweets. I was assuming they would be one of the boxes that got cut out of the video for time, so this was a nice surprise!
Fun trivia fact: Dice Challenge is a modified version of the classic convention game Button Men that Cheapass puts out. The general idea is that your character's stats are printed on a button, and you'd wear it showing that you were down for a game. (Back in the day, there *was* a licensed set of Sailor Moon buttons for it as well.) A round of the game played out super quick, so you can basically whip out your dice and throw down anywhere. They'd often give out buttons for free in convention guides, which would have you bring the book to the booth and they'd use their button press to punch it out and make it. Also I basically consider this the "opening salvo" for September and October, where I had Amazon ship a bunch of games I saw on the floor that I thought were cool.
I. Want. That. Game. Street fighter flashbacks all over and it seems like it might actually have some really compelling flavor and mechanics. I try not to judge a book by its cover, but those playmats were really frikkin cool. I'm excited over here. I need to know if/when that game is finished. Could be the good stuff =] (it's supposed to be a giddy excited face OK...)

I completely froze with anticipation when I saw that box, knowing exactly what it was. Kudos to whoever sent it! Hope you get a chance to play it live, about the same style as you've been playing Hero Quest! And about Kingdom Death in general, I don't like the comparison to Dark Souls except that both are difficult and grim. Thematically Kingdom Death is Berserk, straight up. And gameplay wise it's sort of a combination of XCom and Monster Hunter. One of my favourite games, lot of depth and interesting mechanics!
When Graham was trying to portmanteau Aus Blogs, and came up with Augs, I was expecting a Deus Ex joke. But I can extremely respect "nope, doesn't work."
Hee hee… I spent 10 years in the graphic design trenches during the transition from manual paste-up to full blown direct-to-digital plates, and I have to admit that, on a personal level, I’m quite fond of papyrus… but the pre-press and layout-monkey in me does cringe 995 times out of every thousand times I see it in print...
Muahahahahahhahahahaha uh... Where was I? Oh yeah. hahahahahahahahaha... Actually, I have my own lovable, furry, hairball cannon, so I know well that formidable foe known as "the litter box".
There are biodegradable poopy bags, too. One does not simply have to use plastic bags!👌 So if anyone wants to send Graham and Kathleen bags for the scoopin' of the poopin' please send biodegradable bags.
I keep trying to finish my letters and get this package out to you all- maybe you could do mail time as part of Desert Bus this year? I don't know if that has been done in the past but it could be fun!
I have played a decent amount of "kingdom death: monster" with some friends, its insanely good. Highly reccomend it. Its basicly dark souls meets monster hunter as a table top rpg.
re: phenylalanine: Beej, you're thinking of phenolphthalein (which, in addition to indicating pH, has laxative properties and is considered carcinogenic). Phenylalanine is an essential amino acid, one of the building blocks of proteins, "essential" meaning we can't synthesise it on our own and need to ingest it; it's not harmful to health unless you suffer from phenylketonuria.
48:54 "Tuh-kate". XD Turns out when you have a nation between you and Mexico, you don't have a ton of opportunities to pick up on the pronunciation of Tecate. For future reference, Beej, it's "Teh-CAH-tay".

Hey guys, thanks for making this comment visible and thank you all to everyone from LRR who produced this amazing content for us. We love you! lrrHEART
Yay! Mailtime for Julaugust is here! (NOTE: Graham, you need to give your video editing staff, probably Heather, a pay raise.) My box (time stamp 43:20) should have been opened by Beej, but sady, the Canadian Post thwarted my plans. I see they added their own plastic pouch to the box (making my pouch on another panel redundant) covering up the message to have Beej open it. BTW, Someone tell Beej that Skull Valley is more pedestrian compared to some of our town names.Off the top of my head, we have Valentine, Tuba City, and Chandler (insert Friends joke here).
I would like to know : why do we see those packages being opened so late ? I mean .. The video is being published on october 13 but its a video about opening mail in july and august ?!
For the lateness of this video specifically 41:08 is probably a clue. Also remember this one would be a month late at most because August is over in it.
The first hardest part is finding a spare moment for us to take over Studio C to film it. The second hardest part is Heather finding time to edit it while balancing all of her other duties. It’s a little less time-sensitive than our other projects, so it ends up getting delayed. We hope all of you don’t mind.
@@tuxbeej Given the huge amount of other incredibly fun stuff you all do I don't mind at all. Here's a link to a Washington Post article explaining more about this. I don't want to say getting pills or injections from these sites is a bad idea because I understand for many that's the best option and I feel in no place to judge as someone who is paying a significant portion of my personal income on mtf hormone therapy with very little copay from my insurance, but please be aware of the shortcomings of these sites. They are virtually unregulated by any government and InHouse Pharmacy may be legally established in Vanuatu the pills and injections are actually all from the same suppliers in India and the injections in particular have been proven to often just be saline (salt and water). If you read the legal text on these sites they even explicitly state that they make no assurance that you will receive the product you buy. I'm definitely not saying stop taking them if this is your only currently viable source of spiro and estradiol, and nothing I've seen on this topic indicates that the 'hormones' they are selling are dangerous or anything, just potentially not legit. www.washingtonpost.com/news/the-intersect/wp/2016/01/29/how-an-ugly-internet-black-market-profits-off-trans-discrimination/?.a1c381224492

heh, sending $2 of tiny people from aliexpress was 100% worth it.
Was the Vanuatu shipment yours?
Yeah, I guess that's where they manufacture tiny people.
I was so worried that whoever sent them had hand made them when I saw the cane man take a dive. I feel so much better now
