No one who has ever eaten a single Pot Pie has given a shit about Gluten, or quite frankly knew what the hell it is. Bring on the KFC Pot Pies!!

Thank you! Someone has FINALLY summed up the whole situation! Most of the assholes who rave about "the evils" of Gluten have NO idea what it is. You could tell them it is dog shit stirred in the gravy and they would believe it. NO: they would lap it up! Thanks again!

I liked the Swanson and Banquet ones as a kid as a grown-up I make them myself. Leftover chicken, pork, turkey or beef from a Sunday roast or grilling is best. In a pinch use a rotisserie chicken. I make the gravy from my own stock but purchased can work too. I admit I use Aldi's Belmont frozen crust. It's tender flaky and so easy. I add a frozen mixed veggies pre cooked potatoes salt pepper Dill Parsley to taste. Frozen ones will taste like cardboard in comparison 😋

Once you've been exposed to meat pies from English bakeries, you won't be able to stomach this junk in the frozen food section of American supermarkets. Swanson's and Stouffer's are by far the best in flavor. The sauce in Maria Calendar and others sucks.

Too much time wasted talking about gluten, which only affects the 1% of the world's population with Celiac disease. The real problem is gluten paranoia. Also, no mention at all of heating pot pies in the microwave oven, which is much faster than using a gas oven for a half hour, for just a little pot pie. At least you happen to show the microwave directions at 4:30, but still don't mention that option.

I should have known. Boston Market really does taste better-IF YOU ARE NOT ALLERGIC TO SOY! If you are you are just buying stomach cramps and misery. Marie Callender's used to be good but they have reduced how much they put in the pie and raised the price. Banquet is fine if you like the taste of cardboard, the box tastes better than the food. That leaves Swanson. It tastes like a frozen TV dinner for a halfway decent price. It is sad that this is what are choices have come to. Here's a hint for all of them. Reduce the number of chemicals and increase the actual foods included.

...what's this insane obsession with 'gluten-free'??? The majority of folks don't sive a ghit...my mom used'ta make chicken pot pies with leftover chicken, frozen vegetables, Campbell chicken soup and a hand made rolled crust ( in that big yellow Pyrex bowl - popular in the 50s & 60s) my favorite 'store bought' pot pies are Marie Callender pies...

Why not show the Marie Calenders regular pot pie? Not corn, or gluten free, or broccoli, just the plain pot pie? The chicken and turkey are better than all these others.
