Added this to a Playlist cuz I want to try it. Somehow, you reminded me of my grandma, who lived from 1901 to 1985. She always enjoyed having me as her little kitchen helper, and taught me many things, like how to make egg noodles from scratch and her yummy Devil’s Food Float Cake. That was the weirdest thing to make! After she poured the chocolate batter into the cake pan, she she’d sprinkle it with Cocoa Powder and then top it with WATER! As it cooked, the water would filter down into the batter, taking the cocoa powder with it. When a slice was turned out and over onto a plate, I swear it was like magic, you had a chocolate syrup on top! Wow! Served it warm with vanilla ice cream. It was the best dessert EVER! Many years after she was long gone, I found several recipes of it online! Yippee!

I just wanted you to know that I saw your video on the chicken pot pie. I made it about 99% of the way you did on the video. The only difference, for me when I was mixing all my ingredients with the large can of cream of mushroom soup. For me everything in my cooking pot looked just a tad thick. Personally I like my pot pies just a little runny. So the only difference I made in your recipe. I took another 1/2 bouillon cube in a small sauce pan and added some water about a cup of water and dissolved the cube. I then took the liquid bullion, liquid and added not even the entire cup to your recipe. Just enough to have it make all the ingredients a little runny. I put the top crust on and baked it just like you called for. My friend I want to thank you for such a wonderful dish. I’m an old transplanted southern boy living in Las Vegas and need some good food southern style from home. It was “ABSOLUTELY” delicious.
I really want to thank you from the bottom of my heart. The dish you let me make was an almost exact tasting dish my beloved grandmother made for us as kids. Thank you for your video. I plan to watch as many videos you make in the future. Thank you from the bottom of my heart. Greg

Excellent recipe. I have ramakis (10 oz). This recipe will easily work to make individual pot pies to freeze. Great Chef, I am too (retired). The minute you mentioned the chicken was smoked. That's why I want to make this. Marie Callander's pot pies are good but the chicken is boiled, so only a little flavor. Thx 4 the recipe. God bless

I'm definately trying this. I cure my bottom crust in the oven. 200 degrees for 5 minutes. then add the filling and top. It prevents a soggy crust. OH..I pour in some dry beans to stop it from rising during this prep.

Don't give me wrong I don't mind making complicated but things are too easy nowadays to cook and put together. So as I say in my videos work smarter not harder. I'll be coming up with more family meals coming soon Stay tuned.
