The Jazz version of the TOS theme, arranged by Joseph Mullendore for the episode, "The Conscience of the King"
I created this using Blender 3.5 and wanted to fill in some of the gaps in what we see on screen. The Daedalus class was designed an built during the 22nd Century as the war with the Romulan Star Empire began to come to a conclusion. Originally, the design was for long range, independent exploratory voyages for the United Earth Space Probe Agency, UESPA.

Cool. I wish they had a model kit of this.
Fun fact, I didn't scale it down so if you printed it out it would be just over 100m long

🖖😎👍Very cool and very nicely done a spectacular beautiful model indeed, But why is the rear of the ship all blacked out as well as the rear of the nacelles 🤔?.
Thanks it's a very shiny material and the "world" is black, so it is reflecting the blackness :) Also, I lit it like a studio model and used a HDRI of a photography studio. I appreciate it looks black but it's also "realistic" - if that makes sense? As it rotates, it reflects different parts of the HDRI image

Lovely! Matt Jeffries' original sketches were pretty ugly (in my very humble opinion), but you've created a thing of beauty!
