Your exercises helped get rid of my wrist and forearm pain, and believe it or not, actually helped me improve my game. After the exercises my wrist area just feels "fresh" and ready to go. Very helpful stuff!
You can tell this guy cares a lot for the gaming comunity and peoples health in general appreciate this video a lot. I'm dealing with carpal tunnel as a gamer and these exercises help!
First Exercise: 2:39 Second Exercise: 4:56 Third Exercise: 7:20 Thanks Mr. Nice Guy Levi & KicKbyElit3 (I just reposted because it means it's the first comment I see when I press it)
Thank you so much for this! I'm getting old and playing Starcraft has become much more taxing for my wrists so these exercises really help when I start my session! Personal Timestamps: 2:39 Fist Roll, CW CCW - 3:03 Open Hand Roll, CW CCW 3:28 Bottom WIndshield Wipers - Middle Windshield Wipers - Queen's Wave 4:56 Double Cobra, facing up facing down (30 sec) 7:24 Elbow Extensor Stretches 7:40 Levi Elbow Stretch (30 sec)
As a teacher and a gamer, doing this exercises after long week of checking 500+ papers, and wanting to do gaming marathons during weekends this is a godsent. The slight sore of your muscles relaxing is soooo satisfying and keeps my mind cool knowing I got my hand muscles taken care of when I do something I enjoy!
God bless this man. I recently started playing overwatch after not playing or doing anything that required repetive/minute motion in a long while (I played Osu! years ago and it really did a number on my wrist/nerves) and started feeling the pain. Now I just leave his videos permanently open to do the exercises at any time, almost after every game. my wrists definitely feel stronger
Great stuff as always, thanks doc! I'm a Street Fighter player, and your exercises have been helping me a lot for the past few years while using an arcade fightstick. Cheers!
I've been doing these stretches for a week now and holy moly they work. No more sore wrists I've had for weeks, not sure if I had carpel tunnel but these stretches helped.
I can no longer sit by the computer, play guitar or hold my phone withouth my hands going numb, also have to sleep with some kind of braces on both hands but these exercises do really ease the effects. Thanks alot, and take care
Hell no I'm sorry but surgery is NOT always the answer to things! Ok doing these exercises and yoga at first it's not that effective but if you keep active with them You will notice they become more and more effective. It's better to do those things rather than something that you may regret later on doing. Surgery should be the last thing that comes into mind.
Thank you so much Dr. Levi! I was experiencing some wrist pain from playing too much CS:GO. Went to UA-cam for help and your wrist exercises helped my wrists and forearms. I feel much more at ease knowing now I can prevent carpal tunneling.
Gamer since 6 or 8 years old over here. On occasion is easier to just not pay attention to the signs, one just shrugs them off as something insignificant, the hit comes much later, currently I'm thirty years old and now I´m feeling the pain with more intensity. Believe it or not I didn´t there were specific execises for wrists, elbows of forearms that address these pains. This exercises really helped me. Thanks Dr. Levi!
@SavageMike Music in fairness neither CTS or it's remedies care how you managed to develop it. these aren't gamer specific excersizes, there's no such thing. they will work for everyone.
Thank you Dr. Levi my left wrist was and forearm was starting to hurt and feel numb after a few hours of playing on my keyboard, this video has eased my pain and regained feeling.
Thank you sooooo much for a real, detailed video that actually helps and isn't just some clickbait video that tells us everything we already know!!!!!!
Lately been noticing loss in finger dexterity and grip strength in my right hand. Also stinging pain in various places on my right arm and left arm. I only got halfway trough the open palm counter clockwise exercise and my hand couldn't do a single more and felt as I would've done 100 reps with heavy weights.. JUST BY TURNING MY WRISTS. I have done hand exercises on and off for a year and a half but lately I've been slacking off. I will definitely take these exercises seriously. Maybe even see a doctor. Anyway, I appreciate the help and the videos. Thank you Dr Levi.
thank you ,you are very helpful ,and im not gonna lie is very hard but it helps a lot .I tried to search other people but you have all the exercises that i need and your advices are great :)
I am not a gamer but these are great exercises for people in the massage therapy industry. I will be referring clients to your channel. I see a lot of people who work at computers all day who can use these. Thank you.
Yayy now I can pick up my tendies with no pain!! I had to lol. Legit though this guy is wonderful. It's inspiring to see someone just trying to help as many people as possible with his expertise with zero judgement.
im getting a ton of pain recently as I've been playing CSGO on top of already playing Overwatch competively and your stretches seem to be helping quite a bit, thanks.
Dr. Your videos help us *a lot*! I've been doing them for a couple of months and oh my god do they feel good (I had a bmx bail in wich I landed with my right palm first and I wasn't able to type as fast as i used to, ever since I started following your stretching guides, my right hand feels a bit better) *Thank you*
Has of recent, my wrist has been hurting a lot from playing CSGO. However after watching this video I can feel the pain reducing everyday. This is a really great video, highly recommended!
Thank you so much. After 20+ years of computer use, my right hand is an old lady's hand. I feel hopeful after seeing these and also feel relief after doing them for just five mins
Ive got some mild carpal tunnel from gaming and absolutely nothing had helped until I tried that first exercise you showed. Instant relief, like my wrist can finally relax. Thanks so much, I'm gonna be doing this every time it starts acting up.
Just wanted to say thanks, I have only done the new gamers elbow stretch a few times and my elbow feels better already. Found my way here from a recommendation on a Facebook knitting group.
Very glad I watched the first video too, the 'gamers stretch' is very helpful to me and I didn't learn it in therapy as well. thank you so much for the work you are doing for the gaming community. :)
This really helped my wrist as it must of been pretty stiff cause I could hear it clicking. It properly eased the strain & helped to relax my right wrist & hand which was the one that was sore & started cramping. Thanks.
Wow I play csgo myself for 4 years now and am playing 2 years competitively by playing intensively for at least 4 hours a day and never have done any of these excersises untill now. It hurted pretty bad and now hurts a bit hopefully there is nothing major with my hands and wrists. Thank you for helping me and definitely gonna do this once or more times a day if needed
oh my goshhhhhhh. I grew up playing all kinds of sports, and gaming. I was a tennis player, and now i game almost every day at least 8 hours.doing the 1st few exercises adjusted so many things from my wrist to by shoulders.
I unfortunately didn't find this until i started having pretty bad pains in my forearms/wrists/hands, but I will be doing these every day now for sure. Just did them and it feels so much better already!
Considering you found this four years ago, I was wondering how you are doing now? I just recently began these exercises and am hopeful for a pain free future. Did this work for you in the long term?
@@TacohandsPvP You're welcome. I definitely could have done/do more, so don't lose hope. Almost all of these types of injuries go away with time, just stick with it and stay optimistic!
Even though I found this mainly for gaming (or earlier video) I had to come back since wrist suddenly hurt like hell at work (and i've played games less and less now), thanks for this
This is a huge help anything more focused on the fingers though my right pointer finger aka my trigger finger I have a habit of curling it to get more leverage while shooting and it hurts my knuckle and it sometimes lasts for weeks with non stop pain
Thank you SO much for these stretches! They feel great, I can feel the stretch right away. I started getting gamer’s thumb two weeks ago (and I’m not a gamer) and now I have it in a splint. It has been helping, but now I want to move on to strengthen and stretch so this doesn’t happen again.
#DrLevi I've been doing this for a week and it's almost completely gotten rid of tension in my wrist. I kept waking up and night and I can finally sleep without the numbess from before waking me up thank you SO much!

Second Exercise: 4:56
