The main way to fix this problem when power cycling. Unplugged both boxes. Then only plug in the white box. Wait 2 to 5 minutes. Then plug in the black box. And everything should start working from there.
I have this problem after an hour of laying on the floor I realized there's a little tiny red button up inside that box getting the plastic off it is hell. Too small to push with finger, you have to take a pencil eraser end and push! AT&T 🃏 Then it's at the pole!
My power button is red and when we connected it says connected w out internet. We called atnt and they are nkt coming even though we made a appointment. We been 2 weeks w out internet which is stupid if they have me paying
Now go outside and tell your neighbor to cut their trees down and get rid of the bird feeder to eradicate the squirrels 🐿 that are chewing on the cable and using the lines as a highway to go yard to yard. You have what we call low light. The signal is probably escaping where the squirrels 🐿 was chewing. It’s nature. A constant battle in areas with forestry and shrubs.
PON indicator flashing green means that the unit cannot register on the ISP side. So useless to reboot the router. Enough to reboot the small unit (aka ONU stands for Optical Network Unit) but in most cases it's useless. So call to tech support.
Power and pon need to be solid green before rg will even consider syncing. With alarm light on ONT still being red, this indicates light levels are probably poor. Data is communication from that ONT to your RG through the cat5.
I need a answer asap!!! my internet box did not come with a broadband cable but it still worked. But now the broadband light is red.. how do I fix the problem ? I’ve tried resetting the box and everything !
If you have AT&T Copper-based Internet, plug a landline cable from a jack to the router. If you don't use AT&T copper-based internet, plug a ethernet cable to the ethernet port to the ONT.
Pon light has to be solid green. That confirms you are getting from fiber connection from outside to inside of your house. In this case Troubleshooting on modem/router won't help. Thanks 👍
@@helpinghand9983 I thought your video would provide a solution. I suppose the reply to me is right though, your title didn’t mention a solution. I only assumed
