Underrated?! By _whom_ exactly? 8 Ivor Novello nominations, 3 wins 13 Brit nominations 3 Billboard Awards 3 Grammy nominations and literally dozens more...
Kate Bush is a true musical genius. Even as a teenager she knew how best to produce her music and hardly ever let anybody distract her from her vision. She didn't enjoy touring and took a 35 year break. Her comeback concerts were maybe the biggest music news of 2014. She was nearly 60 and the series of 20-plus shows sold out in minutes.

Kate just does her own thing. All original. Lyrics. Music. Produces. Shes a real talent.
Kate Bush is a musical genius. Good reaction, thank you.
The song was appropriately used in the movie She’s Having a Baby, when the wife (Elizabeth McGoven) goes into labour and things go wrong, husband (Kevin Bacon) is whisked out of the room as she is prepped for emergency c section, and he reflects on on all the “should have, could have moments” as he anxiously awaits the outcome. Worried that his wife and child could die.
My favourite Kate Bush song. She’s phenomenal. Genius. Cry every single time. Others will probably mention it’s featured in a film - the name of which I can’t remember.
She's Having A Baby - Kevin Bacon & Elizabeth McGovern
I appreciate your channel your reactions are real and honest.
More Kate, please! 🙂
She is from Kent - South England.
She has so much talent, her passion and enthusiasm is amazing, she's a unique artist x
Everyone will have their favourite Kate Bush song. For a complete change of style, try the Christmas Special version of Violin from 1979. She can make you laugh as well as cry. Some girl!
Loved your video, so I subscribed
Chills indeed my man. One of my faves of all time
Omfg Kate Bush is amazing she's one of my all time favourite artists.
And this woman's work is my favourite song from her.. XXX 👌👌👌😘🇬🇧
Glad you are feeling a bit better. Strep throat can be so painful! Glad it isn’t covid. You’ve been through a bit the last couple of weeks. Make sure you are taking time for yourself. 💕❤️💕
So strange that so many people think this song is from Maxwell . I like the Maxwell version as well … but no one can sing it like her …
My favourite Kate song is Oh England My Lionheart. Written as a WW2 bomber pilot falling to his death and romanticising his love of England. I note noone's done a reaction video to it. You should check it out.
James McNulty Not bomber pilot "drop from my black Spitfire to my funeral barge". The Supermarine Spitfire was a fighter.
J' ai entendu la première fois kate et j' ai compris des les premières notes. de sa musique et de sa voix qu' elle allait bouleversé mon ame et mon cœur j ai' 58 ans et ca n' a pas changer cette femme est inclassable
Because you loved Tina Arena, check out her live version of this that she performed in Australian concerts in 2021. Amazing as always.
I've been playing it to death. Beautiful version
KATE BUSH WROTE THIS MASTERPIECE ❤
Kate Bush is definitely in my top 5 females artists. I love pretty much all of her albums, a rare talent.
Great song makes me get emotional everytime.
No offense to Maxwell, but Kate Bush is a genius in a totally different league
Aweman i wasn't expecting to cry🥺
Hey - You just reacted to my favourite song of all time, and you did it very well. Lovely reaction, hope your health continues to improve.
Kate Bush, the most talented, beautiful, authentic (hate the word but there is no fakeness with her) artist. Moments of Pleasure is another ‘tear jerker’. If I were on a desert island and could only have the work of one artist she would be it.
She wrote the song so he has to pay royalties on it. That’s how you get the credit. More likely, she made more money on it than him.
@Jude74 The royalties Kate has recently collected for this and "Running Up That Hill" alone, is half of Maxwell's total net worth.
Kate is English and still lives here....she's such an original artist, I had strep throat some years ago and i know how much it sucks! Hope you feel better soon sir!
Kate's amazing. I think she's English, but wherever she's from, I'm am a huge fan of her work. I love her song Lily. And all the others lol
Eastern Star From England. English father, Irish mother. There's a song she did in the Irish language "Women of Ireland". I can't understand a word of it, but so beautiful.
She's undoubtedly the most underrated artist ever. Just incredible artist ❤️
Underrated?! By _whom_ exactly?
8 Ivor Novello nominations, 3 wins
13 Brit nominations
3 Billboard Awards
3 Grammy nominations
and literally dozens more...
@@221b-Maker-Street This guy reacting wasn't too impressed in his first Kate Bush video for a start. He soon changed his tune though.
If you watch Maxwell's live version on UA-cam he does give her recognition saying it was wrote and produced by her and he said "She is the Bomb.... Truly" That shows he has respect for her.
No one comes close to kate❤
Makes me cry everytime I watch this video Kate Bush is an amazing Artist.
Please more Kate Bush. She is truly one of the all time greats of music with a catalog of inspiration
Feel better ASAP, rest up! Chills and aches from that fever, horrible?! ❤️ 🙏
I remember watching a video of Maxwell performing this song live. I can't remember where he performed but I watched it on youtube many years ago. He mentioned Kate Bush and complimented her.
Another song I love from her is named Under the Ivy
I don't know what to think about Maxwell. Is he a poseur, or is imitation the sincerest form of flattery?
Ascap is where you get permission. There was an office here on miami beach.
He referred to Kate as ‘da bomb’. Definitely a fan.
