The engram costs are ridiculous considering iron banner, trials, and nightfall non-adept focusing all currently costs 1 engram. I thought the point of getting rid of legendary shards was to leave everything else relatively unchanged. :(
they just want to get rid of veterans stashes and again artificially increase the play time by making the game super grindy if you want to focus weapons etc.

The ahamkaras spine nerf kind of sucks for pve. You could do some serious damage to heavies and bosses with grenade, heavy throwing knife, grenade.
yeah was close to starfire
yeah this change absolutely infuriates me. it's an unnecessary change that feels focused on PvP
@@orangesoda51414it is definitely pvp focused but it was definitely on star fire levels, not quite as op but it makes sense.
@@Plaguings no it doesn't make sense. It's not even a super top tier exotic, and the DPS pattern isn't braindead easy like it was with Starfire. Nerfing am exotic that wasn't outperforming to any noticeable degree is stupid
@@Plaguingswhat in the world are you on about? Ahamkaras are NOWHERE near as busted as starfire used to be. How you even came up with that comparison absolutely baffles me
At 18:00 that ahamkara nerf kills it in PVE for content above seasonal difficulty. You need a lot of specific mods and fragments to even get the full build running and it relied heavily on the energy refund on ability damage. You throw a tripmine, throw knife trick and get an ignition for unstoppable stuns, and could loop it infinitely with gambler dodge and the right fragments. It still had survivability issues but it didn't need to be put on the forgotten exotic shelf when they're trying so hard to take others off of it. And if it's oppressive to pvp players, why don't they just disable energy refund on ability damage against guardians? They've been toting on about separate sandbox changes for a few years now. Keep in mind caliban explosive knives STILL work in pvp to instakill a point. Why does one build stay while another doesn't?
Agreed.. completely ruins single target rotation and isn’t even game breaking to be honest just fun and usable.. they separated sandboxes with graviton so why not here.. sigh
This one hurts a lot. That build is the only reason I played season of the Haunted as much as I did
Facts literally this build was the only build I still enjoyed playing. I’ve taken a break since April and now idk if I’m gonna come back till Final Shape. Shits weird and bungie won’t just let us enjoy our power fantasies. I understand balance to a point but like, what’s the point of endgame min maxing if you don’t feel powerful?
Young ahamkara spine nerf is for pvp since both grenade and melee ability hits refund grenade energy. But this is a massive blow to its pve usage, completely breaking some builds.
yeah they kind of just gutted my fav pve exotic that kinda sucks
Agreed, not happy about that. While it is powerful in PvE, it's also incredibly fragile compared to most builds. No bonus DR, minimal access to healing. It's a true glass cannon build that required a well practiced ability rotation to pull off. It will be missed.
Yeah solar hunters are already pretty niche in pve and this just makes them even more irrelevant. Another fun pve build ruined by pvp
@@SkywardShoe its okay, we can just play ultrakill or dmc to “relive” the combos
@@kutokuro538 Literally my only 3 solar builds are: Caliban's, Star-Eaters, and YAS. Caliban's just wasn't very good endgame so I only have a DIM loadout but SES and YAS were my 2 Solar in-game loadouts so it sucks to lose a good solar build
Shards are worth 1000 Glimmer per shard.
Assuming you have the Season Pass bonus Legendary Shard on dismantling, going off of these numbers, you'd cut the Glimmer generated per dismantle by 3250 per Legendary and 4500 per Exotic. That's ludicrous.
They need to dramatically up this.
I imagine they are waiting to announce how we can show up for work in-game to farm glimmer prior to actually having any fun. Do a shift of work, earn enough to buy a few banners, then question why you spent 45 minutes running these perfectly crafted public events that have been in the game since the beginning of time.

With the amount of perk rng we have, 5 engrams to focus 1 weapon is atrocious.
14:17 I like to imagine Crota actually sitting back in his throne making it rain essence on random ass players💀
2 things required for this to be reasonable:
1. Some increase to glimmer cap, with focusing costs the way they are it feels like I'm constantly on down low without going to Rahool
2. Heavily increase Glimmer gain from activities. I'm sorry but I am not playing 10 heroic public events to get 13k glimmer.
Sidenote: instead of Glimmer, make public events the source of world loot pool weapons. It'll make them useful and even if the roll isn't good it'll still feel a lot more rewarding than getting some currency and slight chance to get a single piece of legendary gear
1 heroic event is 13k glimmer, so 10 is 130k?
@@tankingkinga.ka.re5megamon909^This.
Public events already give upwards of 10k glimmer each and they're adding foundry focusing for world drop weapons in season 23
So even more glimmer strain.
I think a new 500,000 glimmer cap instead of the current 250,000 would be a good change along side this so it’s not a massive increase by any means but at least it allows us to someone have sustainable amounts
try a million.
@@Welverin I’d agree but, if it did wouldn’t it just become the next inflated currency
@@DTheWhiteWolfD No?
5,000 glimmer to focus a playlist weapon. 10,000 for a legacy Trials weapon. 20,000 for Trials and Nightfall weapons. 50,000 for an Ascendant Shard.
With the current costs and the cap you can barely buy anything before you run out of glimmer and have to go farm more.
Ideally you'd run activities to earn your engrams and fill up your glimmer as you do it. Go spend the things you just earned, and then go back to running activities. This is not how things are currently.
@@Welverin true you make a point
The only reason glimmer costs as high as 50k and 100k are *sometimes* acceptable is because we can convert shards into more. Glimmer is capped at 250k and too many things cost WAY too much glimmer. I don’t want to farm public events to get glimmer that’s the most draining thing that’ll literally get me to just not buy stuff with currencies, it won’t make me play more. Cuz then it turns into a chore not playing.
If I’m focusing weapons I want to be able to do more than 2-3 at a time before I have to go and farm GLIMMER IN PUBLIC EVENTS FOR HALF AN HOUR, considering these weapons have relatively wide perk pools and getting the roll I want is not gonna be quick and easy
As a hunter spine mine user I'm uber upset over the nerf. Ignitions are required for looping grenades and proper use of your abilities rewarded lots of grenades, but not OP amounts of damage that beats out heavy weapons. Am pretty upset with this change.
Me, who also have 900 rainmakers just waiting to turn into glimmer: "why are you guys worried?"
A simple way they could add massive cost sinks for people with tons of resources like that would be to provide cosmetics you get by paying tons of legendary shards or glimmer for them.
But they won't do that, because it requires them to add cosmetics that aren't microtransactions.
its also because its a rational idea......this is bungie they dont do rational
The nerf to young ahamkaras spine is looking like a PvE nerf more than a PvP nerf. The main appeal in PvE was getting infinite tripmines, especially during a DPS phase on a boss, because the damage from your knives, tripmine, and ignitions were all granting more ability energy for the tripmines each time you used them on a boss. Basically, its a good source of dps, especially if you have a demo rocket. Now that it doesn't proc with ability damage, its no longer going to be useful, unless MAYBE if there are ads around, but nonetheless, its booty now.
Considering YAS wasn't even close to a top performing DPS exotic for any kind of DPS rotation, it's still a change that is completely unneeded and it once again has me asking the question of why PvP and PvE are not separate sandboxes if this is what it causes.
YAS never came close to out damaging most not even meta heavy weapon options. Am pretty upset about this one
@@ringerscheckmate7938 same as with Starfire it's strength was in supplementing heavy dps, but on their own the dps is not that high. You know that YAS was used for solo caretaker?
But yeah no YAS didn't need to be nerfed in pve, only think I wanted them to do was decrease the ability Regen and tripmine hp in pvp.
@@modernprophet5942 Starfire could be used with heavy weapons, YAS doesn't pair as well like starfire did. Time dodging and throwing knives is not time firing rocket launcher.
You may not think that's not a big deal but starfires demo rocket combo was absolutely LEAGUES above the tripmine combo
I do know about YAS soloing caretaker. I think it's pretty cool cause there's no healing during your damage combo.
@@ringerscheckmate7938 oh I don't disagree about it being worse than Starfire. I am only saying that they served a similar role in dps rotations as supplementary damage and rotation extenders so their individual dps didn't really matter.
It's quite similar to damage rotations on strand warlock which involves you throwing melees to boost overall dps.
really excited to have to farm heroic public events for currency again. really glad they are reducing currency "bloat" all while adding 5 different consumables for every season. awesome changes
i can feel the sarcasm and i agree lmao
Yeah, I get the idea of the keys, but just up the cap to 10 and make one that works for all seasonal activity chests.
@@Bluedawn84_ then you run into the same issue they want to prevent with shards, which is a bunch of players having 10 keys at season start and not needing to play the activities as much to get keys, basically it means people play less, and thats not what they want, they want you to have D2 as a job bro
I'm not farming glimmer. I would much rather not play at that point.
@@brilymanyou can inmediately get to cap on keys by cashing in the ones from the pass if you had bounty hoarded the previous season (which most of the people that would benefit from the universal seasonal keys would already do anyways).
With that change, at least they would streamline things and actually remove actual imventory bloat.
The fact that they’re not increasing the glimmer cap is insane, it literally just creates more needless grind
The sniper body shot nerf is likely due to High Ground being able to easily one-shot to the body with minimal effort, but we will have to see
Imo the Crota contest experience felt similar to Garden in that it broke many lfg or casual teams because it felt like everyone had to be doing something. Since the mobs were hittin hard it was more demanding to do the mechanic and survive. I loved it but it definitely made me realize I've got to get a 6 stack because bluebs just cant handle contest sometimes. and Bungie already responded to feedback about the increased glimmer costs. hell yeah
I finnaly hit 10,000 shards organically just a few weeks ago and i finnaly felt as if i had made the biggest accomplishment then they remove it

@@hlonghi Right
Bro literally opened with "this shit interrupted my lunch."
Kinda surprised they removed legendary shards and not glimmer. Not only is glimmer the most common its also the most inflated and the least valuable of all the currency.
Im not. Shards dont really have a cap, they just make a new stack. Glimmer does. And Id bet a substantial amount of glimmer that they wont even raise that cap either. So now we will have to spend the same (or more overall) glimmer for like 3 focused weapons and a bounty, then have no real way to refill it.
@@monosito59playtime inflation seems to be the main reason.
My one and only issue is the way they said you won't be able to turn them into glimmer. Then raise the glimmer cap to 500K atleast. When stuff cost 25 - 50K glimmer to do and the only way to earn a good amount of glimmer is to do public events. It will be super tedious as time pass.
Aside from the glimmer cap increase, I really hope they talk about increasing Iron banner engram costs and how hard it still is to get them, if you want to focus weapons. Aside from that Bungie, TALK ABOUT ASC. ALLOYS pls
focusing iron banner sucks especially since prestige doesn’t give more perk slots
They need to ensure they lower the cost for raid banners if it's only glimmer. Regardless, I'm spending all my shards on raid banners. They need to increase the inventory cap for engrams too.

there's STILL a way to stockpile glimmer using your legendary shards! when it's time, go to the lectern of enchantment (moon) and buy the blue nightmare essence (i forgot the name)
Young Ahamkara Spine picked up PvP usage after the stompees nerf and it's been sitting at high usage for a couple seasons now. I think they were out of band for energy gain in PvP but I really dislike the affect the change will have on PvE, where it's one of my go-to builds. I think the energy gain should be reduced to 10% per instance of solar ability damage in PvP and remain untounched in PvE.
This.
The nerf literally killed my desire to come back to the game. Two of my favorite 3 builds are annihilated, next up would be void titan with explosions everywhere.
Makes me upset they needed it overall because it could’ve been tuned separately from PvE. It wasn’t even game breaking it was solid DPS at a heavy Survivability cost and a high skill ceiling.
With enhancement cores being the only currency left without a strict cap, I wonder how long itll take before the higher drop chance of cores will cause them to be bloated as well. Personally I already have over 2,000 cores, so getting even more than I already do won't mean much.
Well aint you lucky since umless you farm lost sectors or nfs thetes next to no way to earn cores from random in game stuff other than random weapon drops that dismantle into a core. When it costs like 20 cores to masterwork an item it feels so bad to have like 200, 10 good weapons and i have 0 shards.
daily gunsmith bounties award 1 enhancement core 4 per character = 12 a day 12 x 30 = 360 a month you're welcome.
@@overlordeclipse8263if you have plenty of prisms you can pull blue armor from collections, level it to 8 energy, then dismantle. It will turn 1 prism into 3 cores and you will get the 3 cores that you spent back
I use to grind bounties and buy from Spider every day and never masterworked anything for the first couple of years I played. Now I have 3,880 cores. I used to have over 4k 😮.
I just slowly increased my store, except for the one time I was buying ascendant shards because it was the quickest way to get rid of cores.
Until this season, buying levels on crafted weapons has put a serious dent in my core supply. That may be temporary though.
IB comes around for like 3 weeks a season. Pretty bold move to charge 5 engrams to focus a IB weapon cotton.
With the removal of legendary shards, I'd like to see the ability to buy certain engrams or ciphers with glimmer
I think this is only going to hurt players. If you have 100k or 1k shards it doesnt really affect you. Removing shards creates a new glimmer drain without raising glimmer cap, meaning more grinding required to keep glimmer up. Also more enhancement cores just bloat inventory
i can see no ryme or reason for this crap. its just tinkering without an end product. by example anything you collect on d2 can now be expected to be expired without notice. it started with materials , now shards , whats next?. so from next season i will just not bother collecting anything , that way it cannot be taken away .
Baby
I'm just glad they increased the dismantle glimmer after making it worth more. You get like 200 for a legendary weapon. If they revert the engram cost then the change will be perfect.
ok, so you like to hold on to weapons in vault for glimmer instead of it having as shards?
we are actually losing value on dismantles though... a single legendary shard is worth around 1000 glimmer and they are removing the dismantles which give 3-5 shards respectively and changing it so they give 1-1.5k glimmer. we are losing over 3-4k glimmer per dismantle
I remember farming that mars mission for glimmer in D1. Pain 😞
I’m fine with the engram costs being higher, but only if we increase the reputation gain rate, or maybe bump the reputation more based on score since we added that recently. I especially wanna see more score going up well since it’s 2023 and I’m still doing all of the mechanics in strikes since folks can’t be bothered to figure those out. I’d also love to see the streak bonus go from max 5 to max 3 and a universal change for bounties to give reputation for their respective venders. combine that with rebalancing where the reputation tiers are (the first 5 levels go insanely fast but the last 5 are miserable, this is across all venders) and I think we’d be in a pretty decent place all around. I don’t mind paying more for focusing, but not when 80% of those focusing rewards are immediately junked.
They should give us 1 bright dust for every 1 shard.
They would never do that, some of us have hundreds of thousands of shards (myself included). I could buy every single Eververse item ever with that much bright dust and that would hurt their microtransaction profits too much
I jumped ship to FF14 and the way they do capped currency is pretty good because doing your daily quests gives plenty of them to the point you forget when you've capped out.
I remember having the bugged oracle offering. Even after they put a fix in for it, it stayed on my character forever. Sucks theyre going away though ngl especially if they dont up the cap on glimmer....
Wallah has been running a one-hit body shot sniper build, and I think that sniper nerf is related to that.
YAS nerf is definitely for PvP although it was pretty strong in PvE and it could do some wild boss damage before with the right setup but unfortunately we'll be losing that side of it :(
It's a solid fix to the issue and I think refocuses the fantasy of loot drops on Engrams. The question becomes are Engrams drops going to increase accordingly?
Obviously not. They are getting the hamster wheel out again to grind out another useless currency.

Having to get kills is gonna really kill that. A big shame. Might look at calibans as a replacement but I think it has similar issues.
I was on the fence about final shape and I still am, but this is a major bummer.
If anyone has a good recommendation for a solar hunter build let me know.
Haven't we gone through the engram focusing cost song and dance before?
I think the sniper body shot nerf is linked to the high ground perk. Though they could've just nerfed the perk itself, so don't know.
getting double bodied by 90 rpms in trials was hella annoying
@@max73916you still don't die
@@nonixus661 what? Two body shots from a 90rpm kills you what are you talking about
Welp time to spend all of my legendary shards
Dump them into raid banners

Banner of war with synthos is about to get a buff next season and with glaives too? Happy to see that
We will have to see about checkmate but I still think a zero ability PVP mode could be interesting, not even the class jumps, we would be jumping around like we at the tower, at least a custom game mode for the private matches to even just test it out could be nice.
And to take it to an extreme, you could give everyone the same loadout/same guns, or at the least make all perks disabled.
Holy guacamole
That synthoceps nerf is brutal, the reload speed better be substantial. In PvP it can be pretty oppressive, but in PvE the lung range has saved me from falling off of ledges more times than I can count. Its not too brutal where they are unusable now, because they are mainly paired with empowered melees which don't get range increases, but its definitely going to feel worse in a use case.
Tbh I have never even really noticed the lunge increase. The reload buff might be huge though
It's a pve buff
so what i’m thinkin we should do is convert as many as we can up to ascendant shards?
i guess the upside is we can hope that glimmer cap gets increased to compensate for no more legendary shards
like literally, cap is 250k glimmer and thats not really good enough anymore
a bump up to like 1 mil
or just
no cap
for glimmer
would be very nice
That first line was so unexpected I spit out my drink
? It wasn’t even that funny
@@omensoffate nope it wasn't. just completely out of left field
Young ahamkaras spine is insane, increased duration and health + more damage + if you hit at least 2 people (which is very easy due to the increased tracking) you get your entire grenade back.
And now it's dead in PvE and still has almost all of its use in PvP, which is why they nerfed it. Good job Bungie, all the great things a separated sandbox could solve but they're too stubborn to do it, except when they want to randomly.
What happens to upgrade modules then? Will they just cost the glimmer and enhancement cores?
Really nice choice to combine the options of a guaranteed exotic with some grind and the random chance of a complete drop. More complicated than just, say, giving you a guaranteed drop by run 30 but aye if it works it works
Its a move to get rid of vets who dont buy silver.. as a day 1 d1 player. Its the first time im considering looking for another game after final shape.. and its because of that paragraph.. i have done zero cheats and have 26k... and they are saying they are gone.. if they would give us dusts at least id be like ok. And i super defend this game.. but now.. i feel like its time.. cater to the noobs. I have never bought silver so probably deserve it lol
On my hands and knees begging for a glimmer cap increase
You don’t need to adjust caps, just adjust costs. I still have over 200 of the make it rain booster. I figured out it comes to almost 700,000 glimmer if I could turn it all in. I just want it out of my inventory.
All I can see this doing is making glimmer a new pain point completely replacing the pain point newer members already had.
At the moment the only way I can afford upgrade modules and glimmer for extra bounties and upgrading armor is by buying glimmer with legendary shards. Upgrade modules on all 3 characters and all your weapon after a light increase adds up to a ton of glimmer. Way to much to earn in the time normal playing while doing seasonal activities, few strikes for loots, and raids.
I play other games in addition to Destiny 2. When I’m done playing my weekly activities in Destiny (raids, GMs is weapon is good, dungeon) then I go and play my other games.
I refuse to grind public events and vanguard strikes for glimmer or engrams to dismantle to glimmer. I would rather play another game I enjoy them tediously grind boring activities to get enough glimmer to upgrading new armor/weapons and buy upgrade modules.
I’ll simply quit playing Destiny 2 and play something else that I enjoy that doesn’t feel like it’s wasting my time.
I’m really disturbed by this and if there’s not some clarification on this I’ll probably cancel my Final Shape preorder until I’m sure this is still ganna be something I enjoy playing.
I love Destiny 2. But I only like it so much. I like other things too. I refuse to dedicate all my gaming time to keep all 3 of my characters leveled up going forward. Some people might think it’s a little extreme but it’s simple to me. I already invest enough time in Destiny. I will not waste more to grind currency.
I think the ones that are 5 engrams should be dropped to at least 3 I think that would be better for most people whether you play 10 hours or 40 hours a week
Its a big day in history where I no longer have to worry about being shard poor anymore
5 engrams for weapons that hardly ever drop from activities and you get a total of 16 for a reset. Wow, wow, wow… wow. I can’t anymore. I just… can’t.
For young Ahamkara spine. I would assume it’s because if your good with trip mines, like really good, you can be so oppressive. Like I’ll get kills for free just putting it in the right spot. I feel like it’s a high skill option tho. But I’d assume it’s because it can be just so oppressive some times
"They want your decisions to have more impact"
A.K.A. "We want to be able to force you into doing very specific things and we want to have more control over what those things are. Most of all, we want to increase playtime!"
- Bungie, probably
30ish minutes in Sorrow Harbor with a glimmer mod equipped picking up resources, chests, and doing Altars usually results in 100k+ glimmer so I'm not too worried about glimmer costs increasing
Hopefully they change up chest loot then as well cause im not doing strikes for a little pile of glimmer already get that from just public events
Unless they bump some of those engram drop rates this will be dumb. With other vendors though, I'm literally maxed at 99 engrams. This also kills the sparrow and ship hoarding for pre-season prep.
Don’t know if I missed it in the video but will planetary materials always be exchangeable for glimmer at rahool? I got 1k + in every material and I want to know if I’m actually gona have to worry about glimmer in final shape or not.
The new Necrochasm format makes for a much better experience obtaining raid exotics. They should introduce that to all raids.
VoG: Obtain 20 Time Shards, you get 1 for first Atheon kill, 1 for a full kill and chance to get all 20 on a boss kill.
KF: Corrupted Light, you get it guaranteed first clear and every full clear.
Last Wish: Tone of Riven, 20 tones get you a guaranteed 1k next chest opened.
Garden of Salvation already has a quest
Deep Stone Crypt, Vow of the Disciple, Root of Nightmares… they can all benefit from the mechanic.
YAS changes are definitely a PvP change. The PvP playerbase has been talking about YAS quite a lot over the past few seasons and it's probably the most oppressive thing in crucible outside of anteus+jugg striker titan right now. Probably a pre-emptive hit to reduce it's viability enough so that it's not as big of an issue when the anteus+jugg titan build gets that nerf. A quick note, in trials I was able to kill an entire team who were standing in a well of radiance because of the way it acts right now, just spam throwing the nade and knives, it was kind of rediculous.
It sucks that the PvE damage rotation gets fucked pretty hard because of this though. One of my favourite things about running it in PvE was that I always had a good boss/champion damage option at my disposal even if I had no ammo. It definitely hurts the build more in PvE than it does in PvP imo. I feel like they should have nerfed it in a different way, maybe less damage vs guardians or a smaller damage radius.
Feels like a good intentioned change but in practice I think it will be a substantial nerf to it in PvE when it wasn't even used that much there.
Your intros have been perfect in the humor department and I'm here for it
Hopefully Checkmate isn't like what Relic was. Relic was just everyone sitting in one place in each others arses never moving, just camping in one spot. Tbh, it's like in every mode right now for me I've saw two Hunters camp together in Mayhem.......fucking Mayhem just one spamming yes trip mines/blade barrage and other was void and the void version of trip mines. It's starting to give me flashbacks when i used to play cod where everyone just sat in one spot of the map. I'm not sure it's the same for anyone else, but the odd few times I've played pvp, there been a couple just never moving from one spot.
To add I did enjoy Relic for sometime then it became just matching with the same sweats and campers game after game after game to where I lost interest
The most annoying thing is if I am needing something for a clan raid/thing and it requires glimmer, I am now making 5 people wait while I run around cosmodrome for 10 minutes because I am never going to be the kind of person thinking that far ahead that I might need this one obscure thing needed to be levelled.
Gonna need to see some information on Raid Banners before I can judge this change. While I only think about them when run out, then i buy 500+, Banners would be kindof unnecessarily expensive if they remain the way they are now. They should just remove the ones that you can buy and replace all banner zones with the free story ones.
Generally i think that many of costs are just too high. Personally i feel that if you are playing the game casually you and you dont go crazy chasing on something you shouldn't have to go out of your way to farm any resource. I define a casual player based on play time, 1-2 hours a day, completing the weekly challenges/chores and 1 raid clear a week on 1 character. In general i think that if you are playing a reasonable cross-section of activities you should have to go out of your way to farm something as basic as glimmer. For example the cost of IB Engram Focusing is 5 Engrams and 25k glimmer, by the time you have obtained 5 engrams from playing IB you should have also obtained or close to 25k glimmer. It bad enough when you make players leave an activity like IB to focus engrams for loot, it is down right terrible when they are forced to go grind out glimmer doing Public Events to pay for focusing. Obviously if someone stacks up 100 engrams then decides to focus them all for a weapon without playing they are going to have issues, but that's not really a problem.
I'd appreciat another source of ascendant alloys besides campaign missions
I demand a legendary shard montage like the D1 montage w/ strange coins
With the essence changes I’m wondering why not just make the gun have a chance to drop from killing crota like other exotic raid weapons, there’s the quest for nostalgia purposes but it kinda seems like an unnecessary step if you have all 20 drop at once why not just gun drop?
With shards being sent to the shadow realm we need a glimmer cap increase badly if everything will cost glimmer then. I think doing the light subclass fragments/aspects/etc is pretty much a full glimmer drain for all that per subclass i haven’t checked the cost in a while but I remember it being really expensive
Because some people have really shitty rng and don't want to run crota literally 80 times. Now you can get it dropped randomly or after a set amount of runs guaranteed. Really don't see how you are disappointed about that...
insteresting time for destiny2, instead of removing the shard farms/glitches, they flat out just remove them. Could have used [if code was too difficult] a % of shards per focus type thing, but i think most people have a few builds for each subclass per character anyway, apart from the new lights ect. Glimmer is so much easier to come by anyway, leggo public events are 14k glimmer anyway so a few of those and youre max anyway. The engrams though ... yeh a bit tight that, sure they want us to play the game, but 5 for a focus is tough, considering most events arent 10 mins anymore. So be fun to see them drop tha to 3 within 3/4 weeks of FinalShape lol
What i would say is, dismantling exotic ghosts was 5k[i think] so stock on them if youre that player
